Okay seriously American music has taken a turn for the worst, I can not even put on the radio sometimes because a majority of the music is HORRIABLE! My top ten list of people and songs I hate are as follows:

10. Gwen Stefani -Wind It Up She is too old to be singing a song with lyrics like that
9. The All-American Rejects - It Ends Tonight This song didn't start out bad but then it was over played...
8. Justin Timberlake - My Love I thought it was a girl singing this when I heard it for the first time
7. Fergie - Fergalicious I feel like ripping my ears out when I hear this song
6. Ciara - Promise I just hate Ciara I think she has no voice.
5. Nelly Furtado - Promiscuous Nelly is actually from Canada but if they are going to act like she is American she is going to my burn list...
4. Avril Lavigne- Keep Holding On She is so fake I can't take it
3. Fergie - London Bridge The stupidest song I have EVER heard
2. Just Timberlake -Sexy back He also made this list twice and it was close to coming first...but number one is...
1. Beyonce Knowles- Irreplaceable I hate her, she doesn't really sing she "screams" and whines! And this song I hate because in the beginning shes all "to the left, to the left" why not to the right? and she always jumps around in her videos like she is having a epileptic seizure:dry:

- all those rappers like 50 Cent and Snoop Dog. In their video clips, they always have half-naked women dancing around, and this goes to show they think of women as nothing but sex symbols.

The Mariah version is already bad but when Snoop did his crappy rap thingy, it became worse. I don't even see him as a rap artist. He doesn't rap, he just murmurs random words like a giddy old drunkard. :rasp:

And then there's Weird Al Yankovic who does nothing but parodies of other artists' songs. Sure his spoofs are funny but as a musicmaker, he lacks originality and substance. Talking about substance, it's one thing that I don't find in 50 Cent's music. It's common knowledge that his songs are mostly about drugs, sex, violence, cars, girls, bling-blings and other eathly possessions. I appreciate that some of his songs have catchy tunes - his saving grace - but if he keeps rapping about the same things over and over again, what's left for us to hear? But then, I think he's better than Snoop Dogg. That old bored rapper who looks like a terrorist. :crazy:

Oh, no offence taken at all...I can't stand US mainstream music either. Ugh...it's like they'll have a record deal for no reason at all. My top picks of most dispised American artists???

1. Beyonce~I just cannot stand the sound of her voice. Back in Destiny's Child, he HAD to be the stage hog, she HAD to be the loudest. And like mentioned earlier....her sound is so "wah". She doesn't even sing that well, she whines and :rasp: Don't get me started!

2. Fergie~For one thing: Stop just talking through all of your songs. Sing a tune for once in your life. Everytime I hear that "Lumps" song, I just wanna go on a killing spree.

3. Justin Timber(fake)~Something about him that makes me not like him, even before he went solo. I mean, have you all heard him speak? Who is he kidding? I know he didn't have that blaccent(trying to talk Black)when he was growing up.

4. Paris Hilton~'Nuff said!

5. Britney Spears~Another Baby whining through all of her songs.

6. Rappers(99.9% of them)~Same beats, same rhythm, same concept, and same videos. If it's not about drugs, getting high, having sex....they'd have no song. It's all the same. Ugh! And the language...is it that neccessary to curse every two seconds? Take out the foul language and there's no song to rap about.

7. Pussycat Dolls~Ever since that "Dontcha" song came out. That's not a real singing group. It's just one singer and her stripper friends doing their stripper moves.

8. J.Lo~Another mediocre talent with a record contract. She's not singing above key, and she's not singing below key....well, WTH is it?

I want to add Mariah Carey so bad to this list. But, the only thing saving her is her older songs from the early 90's. I loved her songs back then, when it was diverse. Nowadays, it's all hip hop, and collaborations with other rappers/artists.

American songs just ain't what it used to be anymore. Which is why I find myself listening to the oldies, classical compositions, and Jay and other asian artists. They've totally saved music for me.:-)

I know what you mean. MTV stands for Music Television. But, for years now, it's overtaken by Reality Crap TV. And the only time slots that they do play MV's are late night/early morning around 3am.

I haven't listened to the radio for a while either. That's why I search for other music. The music is becoming so bad. Anyway, I'll say that most American hip hop and r&b is terrible (both music and lyrics). Pop music isn't too bad, but most if it doesn't make my top 100 songs. Country is...actually, I haven't listened to that in a while either. Rock is still pretty good, but some of it has become impossible to listen to. If I listen to any American music, it's stuff from the 90's or early 2000's...I think. As for the singers:

1. Miley Cyrus: bad voice
2. Britney Spears: bad music
3. Rihanna: weird voice and music

I don't even care to know their names. It's kinda sad how American music is turning out.

Besides Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears and mainstream American rap in general, here are some of my hated American so-called "artists":

The Jonas Brothers - They're a no-talent boyband posing with instruments. If they had talent, they would not have needed a Disney show to get the attention of little kids. The current American Disney singers are just downright awful. I've heard a overseas Disney singer who wasn't so bad, so I'm only going to say that the American ones are bad right now. However, the overseas Disney singers aren't as young, so they've had more of a chance to develop vocally and such.

Taylor Swift - Her voice is horrible! She should not be allowed to sing, yet she's extremely popular, which only makes her even more annoying. Even the DJ on one of the Sirius stations is tired of people requesting her.

Lady Gaga - Saw her perform on "American Idol." It was weird. 0_o Her performances seem to be weird in general, giving a very gimmicky image.

David Archuleta - I'm not sure if I actually hate the boy, but it's more like I hate whoever writes his songs. His vocals may be good for his age, but the songs he sings are teeny pop and any maturity in his vocals is overwhelmed by the bland pop sound. You've heard "Crush," you've heard them all.
