suffered through the lengthy korean tv series starring rain - " a love to kill ". after finishing it , i almost wanted to go and kill myself for stupidly wasting my time through such a boring and rainingfying story. it's one of the most draggy korean series ( and thats saying a lot about it as many korean series are draggy!!! excepting for some good ones )). the story about rain smouldering his way throughout the series on the mistaken idea that his brother was killed by a heartless lover ( p.s. who said a one-sided love must be returned ?!! ). at teh beginng , rain's character was even more crazy - he devoted himself to this stupid girl who was scarred accidentally 'cos of her devotion to him . after this incident , he protected her from all sort of crisis - whether she is at fault or not !. i do not fault rain - after all he's just an actor - the script and directing is rubbish . not even rain can save the day and also he's not helping mcuh with his acting standard.

I have not seen this series but why would I like it?
If Rain is in it, of course I would hate it! LOL.
I am Anti Bi Rian.
i like bi but this drama is such a TORTURE. I havent finished the series yet but dun think i will cuz i have no motivation to carry on. cuz 1) weak strange plot 2) no eye candy actors/actresses 3) no nice ost 4) slow slow pace. bi looks cool but he has only one expression-monotonous slit look. i forwarded all the first few eps when i watched. i think i may just skip to the last and forward to the ending. bi dun do such dramas anymore. trying sth new is to be appluaded, but this drama will discredit yr actor lifespan.

I admire Rain but A Love To Kill is a drama to kill.
The only good thing about this drama is Rain's acting. (His acting skills have progressed, considering that his character in this drama is stiff.) The rest is trash. You cannot sympathize with the characters because they are unrealistic and in some ways inhumane, the actors are unconvincing and the plot is hardly believable. It's a big mistake following this boring drama from start to finish, trying to extract every bit of vividness you could ever find and making sense of some unintelligible scenes that do not generally relate to the plot. The story doesn't translate well into the screen. The whole thing lacks clarity, coherence, heart and substance. Simply put, it's a hilarious mess all through out.
Oh! Before I forget, I think the opening credits is quite good, if it's any consolation.

Haha I chuckled my way through the second I saw the topic title. Yes I am Anti- A Love To Kill drama too. I didn't finish the series, I stopped halfway through because I just couldn't stand it anymore. The part where Rain told the girl, 'Let's elope', yup. I took out my remote and switched it off.

ha I'am the same as spongebobI'm anti Bi.I don't know why most of my friends love him.
Well I also hate Korean series, except for Goong 1(I havn't seen Goong S).A few years ago, almost Korean films talked bout 2 people who first hated each other, then loved each other, but finally one(often the girls) had a uncurable disease(often cancers or white blood) and then died.I hated films like that.WEIRD
But Goong is a gud one, I must claim that

hmm...same feelings here!
I first saw Full House, which I thought was pretty good, and I started to like Rain a little, so I decided to watch A love to Kill! but it was realllly boring in the beginning. and I was watching it on Youtube, and I just didn't have the patience to keep on loading and watching. I seriously thought that it would be an ok series....
and the part where he suddenly sees his brother again and they are on the roof? that was very weird....

I was quite looking forward to watching it, because from seeing previews/pics/synopsises and stuff, I thought it looked pretty good. It certainly caught my attention because it seemed worthwhile and unique.
However after probably episode 2, watching it was becoming a misery. It was pure torture to sit through even a few minutes of this disaster series. <_< I ended up watching from episode 3/4 onwards all in fastforward. No kidding. To put it simply, it was draggy, it was utterly unbelievable, the plot was pointless, and there was absolutely nothing special about the characters. I don't have anything against their acting, in fact I think Rain did a fair job, and so did many of the actors. But seriously, the drama was just a disaster.
I'm sorry that I ever started it. I *actually* thought it would end up somewhere. I think it could have been really good and enjoyable, but the director/producer either didn't know what the heck they were doing, or they were trying for WAY too much.

I think it's the worse show Rain have ever picked up...
It's not about his acting.. it's the storyline...
and actually other than this show.. i find that Rain is neglecting on the popularity of the storyline.. he just picks shows that are challenging to him or that show his ability to act...
but he doesn't make sure that the shows are those that people will want to watch because the first episode of 'a love to kill' already made me doze off.

Oh, gosh, I couldn't agree more!!
When I first watch Full House, I became Bi's fan, and decided to watch this serieal, since it received so many OVERRATED reviews. And seriously, the whole show is so pointless, the story doesn't make sense, and the ending was like... OMG, WHAT THE HECK?! It's totally a waste of my time and energy, seriously, because it was sooo tiring to just finish one episode. And I had to keep on pushing the fast forward button most of the time. I thought 'Let's Go to School' was Bi's worst drama... but after watching this serial, I change my mind.
The only good thing about this show is... Bi look absolutely gorgeous in his suit.

I dont like this drama even i'm like rain that much  But i still watch the whole drama....
The storyline abit illogical to me ( but most of the korean drama storyline also abit illogical...perhaps that's their style? )
The only good thing about this show is... Bi look absolutely gorgeous in his suit.
yay...totally agree!! Actually, i watch rain not the drama
OMG I HATED IT.. cause it was plain dumb and no point to it.. total waste of time..
rain acting here wasn't all that great...

My best friend is a diehard fan of Rain and she had a set of this drama so she passed it to me.
I never made it pass the first 30 mins... It is just so .. depressing... and draggy, by Korean drama standards. I was thinking that maybe I missed something but after this thread, maybe not.
