Edit: Is it normal to have a few MVs missing from Huang Jin Jia EP Chinese version?

Hi,

My sister just came back from China and she bought the HJJ EP. One question though, it seems that the DVD has the MVs of ye de di qi zhang and qian li zhi wai missing.

Is this normal or I've gotten a bootleg?

Hi there bigjayfan, I guess its perfectly normal. You see, the chinese market has a different version release compared to the rest of Asia.

There are a lot of albums that have a seperate release in China and Asia, most of the times, its two different versions, and the version released in the Chinese market usually has one or two songs or MVs etc that is left out from the original Taiwan version.

Yeah, it's not fair at all! They usually don't include all the Mv's, which suck. I bought mine on yesasia and I bought the taiwan version so all 11 are included. Don't know why the chinese version don't include all of them

bigjayfan, maybe you can check the distributor and other information labels on the album. Usually pirated CDs in China put different companies than the original ones but they look real. For example, Jay's albums' distributor is Sony Music. If the label is not Sony Music, it maybe bootleg. I don't know if it's true but that's what my friend told me.

But it's really weird that there's 2 MVs missing. :?

You cant really say it's not fair cos it is alot cheaper than the taiwan version. The price really differs alot.

As for bootleg or not bootleg, they call those versions mainland original. Accordingly to my China friend, the artistes still make money from these albums, but not that much. Apparently China doesnt sell taiwan version of albums, no matter where you go.

To buy a album that's about 100RMB in china is considered really expensive for them.

i just checked www.joyo.com, which is part owned by amazon so the source can be trusted. It seem that those two mv aren't in the ep at all (neither on the vcd or dvd version). Also, it's only about 40RMB to buy the dvd version in China, which is like US$5-6, so it's actually that it's not fair for us, cause we have to pay like US $16 - 25 for the album.
