This game started off with Tidus, a young teenager in a town named Zanarkard. Like his father, he's a champion at a sport popular in the time named blitzball, a water sport. Tidus is always pressured because his father is always better than him. However, his father, Jecht, mysteriously disappeared in the middle of the ocean. The game took place during the Jecht Memorial Cup, a blitzball tournament in honor of Jecht's disappearance. Then a devasting creature came to destroy Zanarkard. Tidus manages to survive in the fall of the blitzball dome. When he escaped, he met Auron, a mysterious guy who took care of him ever since he's small. Tidus then learned that the creature is called Sin. Before Sin completely destroyed Zanarkard, Auron dragged Tidus into its depth.

Upon awakening, Tidus is stranded in the middle of the ocean then rescued by a race known as the Al Bhed. He met Rikku, an Al Bhed girl. He learned from her that he was suppose to be gone 1000 years ago, along with Zanarkard. Before he could understand what's going on, he was took away to somewhere by Sin again.

This time, he was at an isle named Besaid. There he met a blitzball player named Wakka. Later he learned more about the world he was in now. He was in Spira, a world plagued by Sin and caught in the spiral of death. He then met a young girl, Yuna, who is a summoner, someone with power to call spirit creatures, the aeons. Yuna is on a journey to get the Final Aeon, the only way to destroy Sin. Tidus went with her as a guardian, along with Wakka, Lulu, Kimahri. He first wanted to find a way home but as he travel on, he discovered there's something more important than going home...

This game have great story. Lots of plot changes that you'll never know that it's coming at you. Thanks to the creation of the sphere grid, there's no such thing as best and worst character. The graphic is another awesome thing the game have; it's the factor that capture me to play this game. In spite that you know the story once you beat it, the game is still fun.

Wow it's very shocking that nobody has commented on this classic yet.Oh well,at least it got 72 views. However, this is one of the those games that you will regret not playing.

Before I give my review of this game.I just like to mention that this game was 3years in the making, which was 1999-2001 with a crew of about 300-500 people.Everything in this game is on a grand scale,so I don't even know where to start lol.

Story:
The story was a bit confusing at first, but as you advance in the game. The story becomes clearer as you meet new characters, enemies,& explore new places with complex puzzles that help unravel the new plot twists.

Many of the cutscenes or CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) movies were just plain emotional & you felt like you were right there as the sorrow melted your heart away as well.

I felt like they could've came up with a few more ideas for the plot twists. However, the story in this game isn't your typical story either.Overall,I truly feel that heart & effort was put into the story writing & story telling as well.

Characters:
There are actually several characters that you could play within this game like most RPG games. The character development was very interesting & well done.
You have Sir Auron, the strong badass with the huge sword & a deep serious voice who also likes to wear sunglasses.Sir Auron is the one that has the highest overall strength in this game.

Then there is Wakka, with his bashful personality, who also loves to play blitzball.Which is an underwater soccer/football game.Don't forget about the dark & mysterious Lulu, who also lives in the same village as Wakka. Her specialty is powerful black & white magic, which is very useful against certain enemies.

You also have innocent kind-hearted Yuna, who also grew up in the same village. She can summon mystical powerful creatures called Aeons. These Aeons are truly amazing because they each represent their own element.
For instance, your eyes will be amazed as an electric unicorn is summoned & jumps through an electrical portal coming to Yuna's aid. However, there are way more powerful Aeons that you can gain or fight as you progress through the story & level up.

Then you have Kimari, who is the last main supporting character from this village. He's a mature dark blue beast who resembles a lion that can walk upright like the humans. This honorable & skilled warrior with a missing horn who uses a spear to fight.Has always protected Yuna when she was younger & vows to protect her for life.

You also have Riku,a young cute enthusiastic female inventor with blond hair of the Al Bhed race. She uses her unique inventing abilites to create new items by fusing other items together. Her other special ability is called thief.

Last but not least, you have the main character Tidus, that you start off playing with.Tidus is still a young inexperienced warrior, but he sure can play blitzball.Which is why he immediately gained Wakka's respect.

However, these are only basic descriptions of these colorful characters that you can play with. There are actually more details to the characters that you guys have to find out for yourselves which is well worth it.

Overall:
The graphics in this game is truely mesmerizing & captivating. You can definitely tell some great effort was put into creating the CGI for this game. Many players commented that it was like watching a long exciting movie,at the same time playing a wonderful role playing game.

I myself spent almost 200 hours playing this beautifully fun game, always trying to level up or find stronger enemies to fight. However, there's plenty to do in this game,so prepare to set aside plenty of time because once you start. Then it's going to be hard to put down the controller.

I went back to play this game quite a few times just to experience some of the movie scenes that captured my heart the first time. This was my first Final Fantasy game that I actually beat also & since then,no other RPG game has come even close to it's originality & quality in my opinion.

Additionally, the music in this game superbly lifted my heart & soul to new heights of sorrow & satisfaction. There's well over 60 songs I believe & you will deeply feel every single note played or sung.

Overall,I give this role playing game a perfect score because it has touched my heart & soul beyond belief.Final Fantasy X will remain as a classic RPG in my heart forever!!!
