Hurray I bought my ticket at block B already! it cost me RM 353, but the seats are not too far from the stage I think. They're almost right behind the VVIP area.
OMG. This is so exciting :bounce:
A girl friend and I have just decided that we are going to head up to KL for this concert. How do you think we can buy the tickets if we're in Singapore? I just went to the Axcess website but apparently, I can't book it online yet? :?
I guess we need to call them to book eh?
And we would also require hotel accommodation that is near the stadium or somewhere close by. Any recommendations from all you Lee Hom fans in Malaysia? :bleh:

I'm getting so excited about his concert. His official hotel is Mandarin Oriental in KL but hwah! It's so expensive. Me and gf had to give up our initial plans to stalk him

^ I don't think it might be bad move afterall  Bukit Jalil Outdoor Stadium is wayyy bigger and newer than Merdeka Stadium ^^ Just hope that it won't be changed to the indoor stadium coz the sound system there sucks (based on my two previous concert experiences there ><)
Ooo, wonder if anyone spotted Lee Hom in Rain's concert? I didn't see him :p

^ But for overseas fans that have booked plan tickets etc, this is an unneccesary hassle. In addition, the 4th is a Sunday and many students have school the next day.
He didn't go. Lee Ang only gave him 1 day off from the "Lust, Caution" shooting.
I posted this in the Lee Hom forum but I need to rant here as well.
/start rant
I am sooo darn pissed off!!! A friend and I (both from Singapore) made travel arrangements (coach tickets, hotel, etc) and bought tix to watch the concert. WE HAD GREAT TICKETS!!!!!
Now we can't make it due to the change of date. GAAH!!!!!!!!!
To think it is less than 2 weeks away and we soooo looking forward to it!!!!!!!!!!!
And you know what?! We received NO NEWS that it was being postponed! Thankfully, a friend casually mentioned it before we realised! Can you beat that?!! They didn't even have the blooody courtesty to inform the overseas fas who bought tickets. Can you imagine if we had stupidly headed up to KL and then realised that the stadium is empty?!?! Like WTF??!?
I so won't be surprised if lots of fans can't make it due to the change of date. Who in the right mind has a concert on a Sunday?!?!?
Due to the recent cabinet decision to extensively renovate Stadium Medeka for the 50th Anniversary Merdeka Celebration on 31st August 2007, the venue is no longer available.
Like oh, no one realised that the venue was BOOKED for a concert?! Did no one in the government blooody checked the calendar?! And they couldn't wait ONE NIGHT before renovating the damn place?! Freakin' ZERO planning!!!
In view of the above, the good news is the setting between the stage and the audience seems to be closer proximity that the previous venue
SO WHAT?!?!? SO FREAKING WHAT?!?! We can't make it to the concert. Doesn't matter even if you hold a private tea session with Lee Hom. WE CAN'T BE THERE BECAUSE YOU CHANGED IT TO A BLOODY SUNDAY!!
GAAH!! I am so pissed, I am about to burst!!!
/end rant

^I think it was pretty irresponsible on the organizer, Galaxy's part, they should have forseen this and should have played it safe in the first place.
The sad thing is they still havn't changed the dates on a majority of the outlets, for example one of the major outlets for the tickets, Axcess, still has the concert date listed as March 3rd. Oh poor overseas fans.
I know words probably won't mean anything, but I hope you feel better. One of my friends was going to go and she too is pissed beyond verbal comprehension about this sudden change.

I can kinda sympathise with the organisers because I can only imagine they *suddenly* got the news about the stadium being renovated but I can't get past the fact that they DID NOT INFORM THE OVERSEAS FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS!! They had all our contacts (email, tel, etc)?! I dread to imagine if the friend had no CASUALLY mentioned about the change.

OMG. You serious?! That is insane. My friend who was in charge of the tickets wrote in for a refund and till today, we had not heard a single peep from them. I'm guessing that they're up to their ears handling all the complaints and requests for refunds. Grrrr. And they only allowed a really limited time to get refunds AND they asked that we PERSONALLY go down to their office for refunds. Like hello?!?!?!?

Thanks babe. The anger has somewhat subsided but everytime I hear about the concert or even hear Lee Hom's songs, I'd get sad again  What is your friend going to do now? Is she still going? Is she from Malaysia or overseas?
Any other LH fans affected by the change in date?

Technically can't they be sued over this? I mean if they piss off the wrong overseas fan that goes on the 3rd and realizes the concert has been moved than Galaxy will be in some big poo.

Wait so they want you to fly down there? That's frikin' absurd. Why the hell would you go there personally and play the extra money just to return tickets when is is their fault in the first place? Hopefully things work out! :)

My friend is from California, but she's currently on a study abroad program in Shanghai. She missed Leehom's GSYX concert in 2006 in Shanghai and so she felt like flying over to Malaysia and she was originally ok with it because it was on a Saturday, but now she's extremely pissed. She didn't find out about this either until she read about it at Leehom-cn.com. No one from Galaxy informed her.
She bought the VVIP tickets for like 500 and was all excited and when she was talking to me she was like literally crying.
She still wants to go, but she doesn't want to go on a Sunday since she has school on Monday and she doesn't want to miss too many days of school.
It sucks how this happened, I hope things go well and in the mean time I guess Leehom's DVD can satiate like 1/10000 of the Leehom- hunger you're feeling.

I still can't believe they had done such an idiotic thing and not informed the overseas fans?
The last time when I got tickets for a concert in Taiwan, I had recieved a few emails from them to confirm when and how I was going to get the tickets. But there is the risk when we buy tickets from overseas.... somehow, they think EVERYONE will know about the changes, if they broadcast it in their local TV channels...

Well, in America, I am sure they can be sued to death. Sadly, this is Asia and worst, Malaysia
I also just realised that the press release they er, released on their website is NOT DATED! What kind of stooopid press release is that?! That is simply unprofessional and s***.
This is what it says on the Axcess website in red with regards to refunds:

Please go to Galaxy's office at Suite 23-2, The Boulevard, Mid-Valley City, Lingkaran Syed Putra, 59200 KL.
Tel : 03 - 2282 2020
b) Tickets bought from Axcess/Outlets/Internet/Hotline

Tel: 03 - 7711 5000
Office Hours :

HOW DUMB IS THAT?!! There wasn't even any note about fans who are overseas.
My friend rang the number today and the line got cut off FOUR TIMES. No reply to phone, no reply to emails. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!?!?!

And how weird is it that there is NO NEWS in the media here in Singapore?!

Galaxy was never a reliable organizer.
CMG or Absolute would have done better...

^ I don't really agree with you on that. In the recent Rain's concert, CMG/ Absolute was the organizer and they changed the venue too, ONE week before the concert.
I don't think there's one single BEST concert organizer in Msia yet. Just my opinion
