I wanted to convert my .rmvb files to .wmv files while using CinemaForge but I realised that it doesn't allow .rmvb files to be converted.
Are there any programs which help me to do so?

Try ImToo (http://www.imtoo.com/rm-converter.html) or Boilsoft (http://www.boilsoft.com/download.html)
click at the name to their web site and download trial version.

Thanks Pam :flowers:
But Boilsoft leaves a watermark on the converted video and ImToo only allows a 5-min conversion.
Are there any better programs?

Ginuwine, thanks for your recommendation. :flowers:
But it's the same for all trial versions, which only allows a 5 minute conversion.
I've googled to search for programs too, and it seems like those free downloads are only for trial versions

hmmm if you are really in need, you try searching on torrent websites.
They would most likely have full versions, i don't think you'll be able to find a non-trial version one. Try http://www.torrentspy.com or search http://www.softpedia.com for downloads.
hope you find a converter!

You can always try SUPER (http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html) converter. It's the best free converter that are available out there, and it doesn't have any water mark in the converted file, as i have been using it to convert my .rmvb file to mp4 file to play on my ipod. Also, this converter work for audio file too.
PS super is even better than some of the converter out there that ask you to pay a lot but with little function imo.

Josh, thanks so much for the SUPER converter :flowers:
But does it convert .rmvb to .wmv?
Hmm, .wmv format is still under experimental phase. It's bracketed there so I doubt it's able to convert. But .mpg works fine for me too, so I converted it with that.

Oh okay! I hardly use .rmvb or .wmv. I use waht Quicktime pro offers, usually .mpg or H.264 thingo which is pretty good quality. I'd say near DVD quality.
