so anyway, when do the star colours change and when do your levels change as well?

Yes, I've searched around for the answer too... i'm surprised it hasn't been addressed yet. The 'Stars' and Level change depending on your post count, it's a forum standard feature, so the change of level doesn't actually indicate that you're a better member than another... it just means you have a higher post count then them.

There are six levels/coloured-stars (based on post count)

Level 1 - Silver stars: 0 - 649
Level 2 - Green stars: 650 - 1499
Level 3 - Purple stars: 1500 - 2499
Level 4 - Red stars: 2500 - 3499
Level 5 - Blue stars: 3500 - 4499
Max Level - Gold stars: 4500+

Btw, this is not exact. The above record is a quick browse I did of what a member's post count is to the star colour/level they're. It's just a rough guide so please do not come back complaining that it's incorrect. If you don't like it, do your research and post the correct statistics. Remember...

if memory serves me correct.. karen was saying that the stars arent in effect anymore? i'm not sure if this is definite or not, but i somehow remember her saying this. something about the stars were gunna be taken away or the colors wont change anymore [this was during the big JCNET reconstruction] no matter how much higher your post count goes.

ok... don't worry I won't just keep posting posts because I want the colour of the stars to change.... if it still does!! i was curious because everyone has nice colours... LOL and mine is just plain grey!! actually it's alright, wouldn't mind having a pink with it too!! LOL
