She first started out as a member of Baby V.O.X. as the last member in the girl group in 1999. Since the group debuted in 1997, several members in the group have come and gone. Eun-hye was said to be the replacement of another member who had to leave the group. Due to this issue, several fans of the previous member were displeased and threw insults at Eun-hye. Some went to the extent of throwing eggs at her. One ardent fan went up to her pretending to like her, in the act of passing her a gift. As soon as he got close to her, he took out a water gun and squirt an unknown liquid directly into her eyes, hurting her cornea as a result. :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: Other Baby V.O.X members claimed that they smelled vinegar in the liquid. As an attempt to gain more popularity from television viewers, Eun-hye took part in the popular weekly SBS gameshow Real Situation Saturday on a regular basis in 2004-2005. The gameshow is host by MC Yoo and Kang Ho-dong. Other artistes that have joined the gameshow to date include Shinhwa, Lee Seung-gi, Kim Jeong Hoon, Dong Bang Shin Ki (TVSK, DBSK, DBSG), Lee Min-ki, Chae-yeon and Lee Jin. The television programme has since changed its name to Real Situation Sunday and is still commonly known as X-Man. Not wanting to be seen as a weakling - a stereotype of female artistes, Eun-hye gave her best in every game segment she was in. Gradually, she gained significant recognition by regular viewers.
According to the Korean media, she is currently romantically linked to singer Kim Jong-kook, who was formally from the group Turbo. Kim Jong-kook was also a regular on the weekly SBS gameshow. It is said that they were initially just friends, until a photograph of the pair was published on the front page of a local newspaper. Recently, Kim Jong-kook sent Eun-hye a scooter and a ring as gifts, saying that it was an appreciation for her help to act in his recent music video entitled Saying I Love You. He has expressed his liking for Eun-hye to the public but she has not given any public reply.
Her first and most popular drama was MBC production Goong, also known as Princess Hours, or Palace. The leading cast were all first timers in acting - Joo Ji Hoon, Kim Jeong Hoon and of course Yoon Eun-hye. Surprisingly, Goong gained immense popularity in Korea and many other Asian countries, pushing Eun-hye to greater heights.
Her next casting came in the KBS2 drama The Vineyard Man, alongside actors Oh Man Suk and Kim Ji Suk. Eun-hye also has a film entitled Escaping from Charisma or The Legend of Seven Cutter.
Other than acting and singing, she also has several advertisement under her belt. One of which is an advertisement for watches with Korean celebrity Rain (Bi).
