Firstly, I wish to tell anyone that NFS:Carbon is available for PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360 and Xbox and maybe PC.
For those who are interested in racing and those who play NFS: Most wanted, you must play this too series of NFS too. This is the latest NFS series.
Starting story ( from gamespot): At the start of Carbon, you're making your way to Palmont City when Cross, now a bounty hunter, catches up with you and totals your car during the chase. Before he can collect his bounty on you, though, your old friend Darius steps in and pays off Cross. You are then put to work, taking over the turf of the other rival street-racing crews in Palmont City.
Special features in this game compare to last time:
1. Palmont City (the city where you race) is divided into four major territories, each of which is predominantly controlled by a different street-racing crew. Each territory is then divided into zones.
Winning at least two events in a zone will put it under your control. And once you've taken over all the zones in a given territory, you can take on the head of that crew. Some of the crew will come back and ask you take the challenge.
(This is one of the new features in NFS series, I found it interesting just wonder if anyone dont like this features)
2. You can bring along a wingman into many of the races. These computer-controlled companions break down into three different behavior types--blockers, drafters, and scouts. ( I dont wanna explain this because it is already explain at Gamespot- just follow the link I give you and you can find it)
But my suggestion is use them and win the game. This is not available for boss racing.
3. Speed-trap race, where your standing is determined by your cumulative MPH as you race through a series of speed traps.
4. New boss challenge improvement. ( 2 race)
Once you've taken enough turf for a crew boss to challenge you, you'll first race against him in a standard city-street event. If you beat him there, you'll advance to one of the game's canyon courses, which are narrow and undulating.
I have take out some main point from the gamespot review. This is the new features in the game.
Of course you can buy the car and take the car from the boss. After you get the car you can upgrade them too, change the bodykit, spoiler, rims and etc, Add some design to your car.
Did you forget about the cops? NO! NFS:Carbon still have a cops to catch you.
The higher the beat of your zone, the more chances the cops will try to catch you.
Graphic's of the game is nice, there is no chance why you say the graphic is not nice. Unless your comp graphic card is outdated. And the rating for graphic is according to console's and computer graphic, I dont think PSP graphic will be that nice.
Difficulty: easy ( only the last boss is quite hard, try using the Benz: MC Laren)
The hard part for me is the drift thing and I found something, drive faster and drift is better then low speed drifting.
Last thing, dont act or copy the move in NFS:Carbon by using your car unless you are a professional.
