She's a new artist...
Well not really coz about 3 years ago, she formed a duet with a*mei's cousin
But they didn't get very popular
But now the duet separated and she got her own album and massive support from her overly-poular sister A*mei
They both look and sounds really alike... Lemmie c if i can find a piccie...

Yes, I have her new album. Her voice is awesome like A-mei's. Well, not exactly like A-mei's because I think A-mei's voice is more powerful. But Saya's style is more Hip-Hop so her voice sounds good in her songs. I think Saya's prettier though. If anyone wants her songs I can post them. :)

I do think Saya is prettier. I've only heard of clip of "Honey Money" and despite the lame title, I thought it was really good. ;D

And yeah, i've to agree that the title "honey money'' is really lame..i think she penned the lyrics by herself. Is she prettier? well, she looks rather like a*mei on her album cover but her looks seem sharper than a*mei, both on the album and her site.

The duo was called Ah Mei Mei and the other girl (her and Amei's cousin) was Raya. Pretty funny name to Malaysians. As Sakura has mentioned, in Malay, Saya means me or myself. And Raya means celebrate. Haha...

emjay, she penned the lyrics for "honey money"? i see... that's pretty cool. what's her background in terms of education? does anyone know? and how old is she? the little profile i read only had July 7th. and wowwy... she has 3 older brothers and 5 older sisters? i guess she must be the youngest then. didn't know they had such a large family. :glug:

I watched 3 of her music videos.. (I'll upload those because they're about 2mb each so not very bothersome for the 56k ^_^) and Saya turns out not to be very pretty. I think she captures well on pictures but it's something about her nose in the film or her features, too sharp.

Her dancing in the Solo MV was not bad.. pretty impressive! =)

Yesterday she appeared on this show. (the one with fay ge) and she was dancing as her talent. She is soooo good!!! She had 3 different styles, robot, and the 70's and lastly hip hop.... Men she's quite talented!!! Despite she's a*mei's sis!

i believe saya is only 2 years younger. i'm not completely sure. i have a vcd from her (and raya)'s previous album which has their profile. i'll have to go watch it and get back to you guys.

what happened to raya? personally, i think saya is prettier than a-mei and a much much better dancer. if you watch a-mei's second concert saya does a solo dance and it's really good. i'm not sure if i think she's a better singer... i'm bias towards a-mei cause i just love her. saya's voice is definitely much clearer and not raspy like amei.

i have to listen more of her songs on her new album before deciding. her previous albums weren't great. not because of her singing... the songs just sucked. some were catchy but they are know way in comparison to a-mei's which is probably why the group didn't get very far.

i saw her on zhong yi da ge da/big brother entertainment - that guy with the big hair and she was really good at dancing. seriously. very quick and sharp, none of the sloppy stuff that azns normally do. i don't really remember her voice, but she looks a lot like a-mei.
