Since i've confirm booking the above resort for the stated date..
In order not to confuse those with the K-box outing..
i've decided to start a thread for this.. :tongue:

Venue :- East Coast Chalet Resort (Block A)
Timing for 16th Dec :-
1430pm :- liwei checking in at East Coast Chalet
1500pm :- shop for foods at Bedok mrt (*Giant Hypermarket)
1600pm :- back to Chalet
1730pm :- start fire for BBQ
1800pm :- Fill our stomach time^^ (*dinner)
2000pm :- Warm-up Games (*Icebreaker)
2100pm :- Annual Ultimate Jay Fans 2006 Games begins
2300pm :- Home Sweet Home (*for those who is not overnight-ing)

I collected $15 from each pax last night for the BBQ and the chalet....
Last year, the chalet is cheaper at around $80 plus....
The total expenses for last year was around $313..
I still got the receipts and all the preparation lists at home now!

As for the satay and otah or chicken wings....you can make a call and order from city satay... http://www.citysatay.com (http://www.citysatay.com/)
They can make deliveries but need to collect them somewhere cos they cannot deliver to ECP BBQ pit..not too sure whether they can meet you at the main entrance of the chalet...:happy:

I have tried their marinated chicken wings for my division's BBQ in July which is quite nice!
The honey ones are nice.....Black pepper not bad but scared some pple dun like the strong taste...
They come in tubs and frozen......
The cost per wing is around $1.50..so still quite reasonable...

At least, no need to prepare the chicken wings and bring all the way to ECP....save the trouble...:tongue:

Liwei, beware of some last minute "aeroplanes" flying cos I got a few persons never turn up when they said they wanted to come....

Since I cannot go, I can support you guys in other way.....hehe~

Based on last experience, nobody ate the otah and the chicken wings!
We threw most of the otah away....:cry:
Chicken wings also left quite a number.....:cry:
I think 40 otah and 40 chicken wings too much already...:rolleyes:

Otah, they complained too spicy..
Chicken wings take some time to be cooked...so by the time it was bbq-ed, already quite full by eating the rest of the food..

Good news is......
But we finished all the 100 sticks of satay the last time! :tongue:

I think just prepare very minimum will do...
BBQ stuff won't eat much plus the beehoon...it will be quite full!

Cos my previous BBQ with my colleagues..almost got 15 to 20 of us..
Cannot even finished 40 chicken wings! :oops:

Need to get more drinks!
We never have enough drinks especially the packet ones the last time..haha~

But still....hope you guys will enjoy the night!

If it's at East Coast...den the closest would actually be Parkway Parade.... Though there's a shop selling BBQ things but it's extremely expensive...

If not, we can take the free shuttle bus service from Bedok and get things from Bedok, which have NTUC, SHOP & SAVE and GIANT, as well as a few shops which sells alot of things that can be use on BBQ... And what's more it's cheap too haha!!!

In that case, we can forget about Cordial drinks haha!!! Cuz I think most of us would wanna go there full of things and go back home with as little things as possible...

I really want to thank the organisers of this chalet, Liwei, Jas, Wendy & Casey.. especially Liwei, putting a lot of effort in organising everything. Its sad that not many fellow JC netters have turned up as expected.
Anyway really enjoyed the BBQ and games a lot.

Oh and I liked the games that Garfield brought along to share with us, they are quite interesting.

1: If not for you all, the chalet's programme won't be so organised and fun! If not you all, there won't be a place for Jay lovers/fans to gather and have fun together. Thank You!!! and thank you organisers, for not asking me to pay :P hahaha..... [liwei, you haven tell me how much must i [late-comer] pay]
2: If you all didn't fly aeroplanes and kites, i might not have a place to sleep [not even my little wardrode].... kekez... if not you all, i won't get to talk and talk and talk whole night... kekez...
3: If not for you all, i would have also fell asleep... if not for you all, the chalet will lose one big portion of time to dreamland, instead of our mandy's meng nan xiu, zhong ji mi ma with stupid forfeit session, and 'tatoo' drawing... if we missed these nonsense that we did in the early morning, the chalet will be easily forgotten! So must thank you all!!! :)
4: If not for you all, my tatoo drawing session won't happen, and those we were not asleep wouldn't have had the thrill and fun seeing you all getting tatooed by me.... hahahahaha :P

I'm finally back after 8 days in Taiwan....
Managed to log on into msn during my stay in one of the hotels on Tuesday and saw Jasmine online..
She told me about the bad news that not many people turned up for the chalet...:cry:
Glad to see that all of you enjoyed the gathering...:wink2:
