I really detested (and still detest) factory generated boy bands like N'Sync and Backstreet Boys, but now he's making music on his own? I mean, that song "Sexy Back" is just about the crappiest song I've heard in the last couple years. And why would you name an album "Futuresex/Lovesounds?" Does anybody else share this serious disliking of mine?

And I guess you're right, Ginuwine; I dislike the music, but I also dislike the person for putting out such a terrible song. It's a matter of preference, too. If you like the song, great, but I'm just coming here to vent :-) .

His beats have been done over and over again in trance, techno, etc.

In case you haven't noticed, the big thing for pop artists right now is to do collaborations with rap artists and generally be "hip". Pop/rap tracks with hints of techno are a surefire way to make it into a cell phone commercial.

Case in point: Nelly Furtado ft. Timbaland - Promiscuous.

I sorta liked Promiscuous at first, and Nelly Furtado is hot, but it got annoying pretty quickly as well.

I don't really like these "collaborations" that are going on right now. And when people buy the albums and then they go platinum, it just encourages them to churn out garbage like Justin Timberlake.

I've been thinking about all this for the pass few years so here goes.I used to be a fan of Backstreet Boys,but *N Sync was my fave boyband who were actually original.

They released beautiful songs like God must have spent a little more time on you(damn that's a long ass title lol),This I promise You,I drive myself Crazy,Gone,Bye bye bye etc.

I mean those were great songs,but I think Justin is to blame for *N Sync breaking up.They claim they didn't break up,but I haven't heard an album for about 6 years.

Except Sexyback ~_~,in which he was using sex to sell because that's all he had to sell.My love & What goes around comes back Around are decent songs,but he still loves to do that annoying high pitch noise that he does.

The album should've been called animalsex/lovesounds.I was also thinking it took JT 3 years to release a ok album,when Jay Chou releases a beautiful album every year.In this situation,I'm sure glad that I'm asian.^^:wave:

Evolution. Music do evolve. Oldies and retro could hardly stand out in the new generation. But they still live. The kids these days prefer something different.
