My first song was long quan. Haha.. i heard it at my school's chinese new year concert as part of the dance music for the girl guides' performance. It totally blew me away bcos prior to that I had always condemn Mando-pop to being cheesy dance tunes or F4 wannabes trying to croak a tune. :oops: But long quan really blew me away so much that my friend and I started finding out more about this Jay Chou. And it was kind of funny too, cos we used to criticise Jay whenever our seniors would gush over him.
I'm really glad that long quan was my first song. Since then, I've been perpetually tuned in to Jay's music and I don't think that chinese music is in anyway inferior to its Western counterparts, especially where Jay's concerned. :-)

I found that the song had a really relaxed and soothing feeling and it kinda sparked my interest in Jay from there on.
