Gee I don't know much about creating a thread in this forum. But anyway, I'm gonna have a dig at this guy.

Sheesh I first saw him in that Taiwanese Idol Drama Heaven's Wedding Gown, or else known as Le Robe De Mariage Des Cieux. I'll tell you that it's gotta be one of the worst cast I've ever seen before. OMG it's Cyndi Wang With Leon! The plot was lousy to begin with, & now the two lead characters just totally destroyed the show. Bleah.

Next up, Green Forest, My Home. Ahhh I hanged on more to this drama, cos there was the beloved Ethan :love: *snaps out of dreamland* Okay sheesh I don't even get why they got Leon to act, what more star as the main male lead. Man throughout this drama, the slang totally got me disgusted, &&& AHHH I don't know how to phrase it. When I think of how to say it, then I'll be back for more. In the meantime, feel free to drop by if you've more to add on :D

DARN he sang in the soundtrack for Green Forest, My Home. I totally wanted to smash up my computer while it was playing :dry:

&&& anyway, I decided on this title simply because I've always felt that he's trying to always be more "Man". Geez I don't know much about him, but seeing him just makes me think that I think he's far from a great male idol. Ahhh oh well. I'm a meanie. Muahahahahas :brows:

eventhough i dont hate him as much as you..
but i couldnt stand his slang when he speaks esp. in Heaven's Wedding Gown..
i am very annoyed by the way he switch from mandarin to english...
and his facial expression is no facial expression... :rasp:
to me he is just another cool actor wannabe... but he would never be one...

ps. have anyone notice his hands?????? he has such ugly hands....

he cant even friggin act.. and they gave him MAIN ROLE? what? even the 2nd guy roles ended up getting more limelight on them [mingdao + ethan], and in both cases they can act BETTER than him.. and OMG whats up with his accent? sounds so wrong =.= and his english isnt even good either, everytime he speaks i cant even catch what he is saying, even david chen [the one played as brian in green forest] can speak english better than him =.=

but then again, he get crap girls anyway.. like yanyan, like she totally cant act..=.= so i guess she suited him.. ethan is tooooo precious for her =,= pfft

HEY ICETEARS-! you really (and FINALLY) started this thread!!! :excited: was waiting for it ever since you said you wanted to create one. :wink2: and, even though i'm a singaporean, i'm not proud of SUCH a singaporean breaking into the taiwan industry and becoming quite popular.

okay, firstly, I LIKE THE NAME OF YOUR THREAD! anyway, that's not the main point. (zhe bu zhong yao, zhong yao de shi...) i finally have a place to diss this guy. that 'tian guo de jia yi' show? OMG he looks like a FREAK next to MINGDAO! for goodness sake. and definitely the pairing with cyndi wang totally makes the whole show a flop, which it was. :wink2:

i hate his chest hair. it's like, YUCKS. :crazy: why do people go gaga over him? he is old, so totally not cute at all, cannot act... EEW. the taiwanese actors are like tonnes better and that makes leon look like some amateur. no, not even an amateur, because even first-time actors in taiwan are so pro as compared to him. and can those stupid dramas stop making him show his chest hair. it's not sexy at all.

okay, Green Forest My Home. WTH!!! he spoiled the whole show!!! ARGH. if not for ethan, i'd never have watched it. i was practically gritting my teeth in frustration everytime he speaks. AND! this very dumb thing in GFMH, he speaks to the chauffeur in ENGLISH and the guy replies in MANDARIN. like, what the??? for goodness sake! i wonder if the scriptwriters made him do that or he just wants to speak english. that's so so so dumb. i cannot believe why a character as HANDSOME & NICE as ETHAN would lose to some fella who can't even speak proper mandarin and has ugly chest hair. :dry:

someone please tell the guy not to act anymore and get his face out of my sight before i puke on my tv or computer. :oops:

You know, I didn't like Mingdao's hair in Heaven's Wedding Gown, but Gee, I think if Mingdao wore a dress he'd still look better than Leon.

OMG I didn't even know he had Chest hair, or he was a Singaporean. I can't believe there's such an "action" Singaporean. Gee but I think he's really lousy. I mean, he's thirty & he's only acted in twod ramas. Sad guy :tongue:

&&& YES. Ethan was so much love inside, he was like THE MAIN FOCUS. Leon just comes in & spoils every scene. & his english dialogues are really disgusting. It's like, COME ON. oh well, i don't really hate him that much though. i just plainly dislike. i just think that he's not up to my HANDSOME, SUAVE, GOOD-LOOKING, ATTRACTIVE, HEART-PUMPING & whatever adj you can think of for a man, boy etc. :dry:

oh yes, i sure do took REAL notice of that gorilla-ry chest hair that he got. eeww. yucks. disgusting. i fell :sick: after i saw that. too overdose of chest hair le.

seriously, i do agree with icetears that tian guo de jia yi is super not nice. i mean, i've got no idea what the whole drama trying to pin point at. is it, him, cyndi or that heaven's robe itself?

and of cos, Green Forest show. my mum bought that vcd. well, i watched it because of the sexist ETHAN~ :rolleyes: and not william. i mean, i was like :bang: when the male lead's not ethan and william. ethan is way much better looking, taller and of cos, NO CHEST HAIR (i hope so, :laughing:).

however, his slang did not really turn me off completely though. he's ABC, i think. oh yes, he sure is singaporean.

inner side comments from my mum, she said that ming dao has better looking features than william, and better FACIAL COMPLEXION too. also also... my mum said that ming dao look more like a mix blood then william.

trust my mum's word, because jielun says so. hahaha. :yeah:

all in all, I JUST DON'T LIKE WILLIAM.

I wonder how he had an acting career when he doesn't have the talent in the first place. :hmm:
He has the looks and nothing else. I also wonder how many takes does it take to get his scene satisfactorily or at least acceptable to the director's taste (or perhaps the director is tired of yelling at him [and Cyndi of course :brows:] during the shoot).

Le Robe De Mariage Des Cieux has to be one of the worst Asian dramas I've ever seen.

I don't know much about this guy, but when I first saw him on My Green Forest My Home's commercial, I just don't like his face! He has that "qian bian" look.

I was wondering if he thinks he could be as hot as Daniel Henney!

my guess is because cyndi doesnt deserve mingdao.. and yanyan doesnt deserve ethan.. so in both cases they have to let them be with someone in a lower level than the 2nd lead guy.. and in both cases the female lead cant act that good anyway..

LIKE OMG.. yanyan soooo doesnt deserve ethan.. cant believe they went out before =.=

makes me want to make a yanyan hate thread now =X
