Seems like the haze in coming back.. Isn't it? i can feel my face literally falling apart once again. Help!
and can anybody tell me more about vivo? maybe i can go there after my Os.. hopefully everything will be in place by then.. :D

vivo city... hmm, thats the lastest thing in town. i heard that it is 3 times bigger than suntec city.the biggest in singapore. WOAH. though not all the shops are open yet, only abt. 60% i guess. and many are going there to escape the haze(though it is much better now).
well, i guess all the shops will be open by the time yr Os are over.

Sighs... we had a little rain today that helped to clear the haze a bit and reduce the PSI level from 70 to 49, but now it's climbing back again and by 7pm it was 67 already.

I went over to Vivo last weekend. Terrible. Too BIG for my liking. Almost get lost. hehe.. The haze and the construction air going on, make me want to puke. The GV there, quite big. I like the seats, more leg rooms.

I just read a write-up on the vivo city's cinema.. according to the article, there are a couple of theatres which is really grand.. huge seats (like sofas) and tables...

And another one which the largest screen... ahh.. really want to go there and watch movies someday... I wonder abt the tickets cost... will it be slightly more expensive for the grand theatres?

Well, one thing about VivoCity that me and my friends wonder was about the food court. Since Vivo is very big, we wonder how large will be the food court in Vivo. You can't have people running around to Harbourfront Mall every weekend because there's not enough food on Vivo right? Maybe they will use the whole third floor for Food Republic (which was not open when I was there last Saturday) to fulfill this need and every weekend the whole of Singapore will be eating there :D

Another thing, I finally managed to get Mr. Brown's show on my Zen Vision:M. The Feedburner site didn't really give any instructions to how to use that podcast on Zen Vision:M. The strange thing is that when other feeds can just be copy pasted to your ZenCast Organizer, for this one it won't do. It took me quite a while before I found the right method by accident, and it was to use this link http://feeds.feedburner.com/mrbrownshow?format=zcast, instead of the normal one (http://feeds.feedburner.com/mrbrownshow). Might help some of you who have Zen Vision too.

That last show on Macpherson Vice (parody of Miami Vice) was super hilarious :oops:

Hey guys.. I went to vivocity yesterday... one word to describe.. HUUGE!!

It is really huge and definitely waay biggger than any shopping malls in SG.. Although quite a few shops are still under renovations, the crowds are still big.. Many ppl were there yesterday.. I can't imagine the situation on the grand opening day when more shops are open..

As for the cinema, it was not bad... But the seats were a bit limited for each cineplex.. it is not as many as I had expected...

And yes, the Food Republic and Kopitiam are also open.. so u guys need not worry abt the food anymore... But the Kopitiam is at the basement 2, so for me, I think its quite troublesome to make our way to the basement and eat..

Partyworld operates pretty much like Kbox room wise. But personally I find them dark and dingy, and the ventilation is usually bad (Okay, I am a not smoker so am smoke sensitive... KBox does a slightly better job at keeping their premises less smoky).

One thing I don't like about partyworld is that they operate by strict 3 hour blocks. AND they cut you off once time is up. No extension, even if there is room, unlike Kbox :worry:

The EP is out yesterday, I got mine from Sembawang and I saw it at HMV as well.

I watched the movie Curse of the Golden Flower and one word "DIAO". Jay is so so so good in the movie, he improved a lot in terms of his acting. I'm so proud of Zhang Yimou, the sets, the costumes, the storyline, the scenary plus a brillant cast it's was awesome awesome.

Go watch it , you won't be disappointed and you won't regret it I promise you!

Yeap, the movie was pretty good!

Jay's acting skills have improved. And he looks really suave especially when he was battling. I won't reveal so much, you all should go catch the movie soon!

And Gong Li's acting is really good! She's indeed a great veteran actress!

In Singapore the flooding only occured during Tuesday in some low-lying areas. There are on and off showers during Wed-Fri.

I just watched the movie yesterday, its not as good as I expected but the fighting scenes were really good. I miss the beginning of the movie :cry: , I think I missed out the duel between Jay and the emperor :oops: , but the music at the end also matches the ending really well...

I'm on Starhub and things are slow too. Today is better actually, yesterday 90% of the webpages cannot open and I cannot even connect to MSN or Yahoo Messenger. Today it was quite easy to connect to MSN and Yahoo, and most of the webpages I tried to open managed to load, albeit slowly, especially non-Asian webpages, such as Wikipedia, it cannot load a long page. But overall today is more manageable and less frustating than yesterday, where I just turn off my laptop in stress.

Hope this situation will be fixed soon, I cannot imagine having to do my uni assignments under this condition. Cannot communicate and cannot do internet research! :oops:
