What do you mean?
You cant use a avatar or signiture ... If you mean putting them up you go to User CP and then you like ... You know ...

On the homepage, click UserCP (User Control Panel)

Select 'Edit avatar' or 'Edit signature'
The editing window will open on the right side of the page.
