How do you get a signature up on ur account

how do u get a signature up?
my friend told me go to user cp settings n options
but i only see 3

edit pf
edit options

do i need to post a certain amount to get a sig? or is mine just weird :cry:

You can read it here actually, basically, yes, you are not a Registered User+ yet, so you can't have an avatar or a signature.

However, please do not spam your way in order to become a Registered User+ too, otherwise that privilege will be taken away. :wink2:

Once you've been here long enough (1 week), and have enough posts (+20), you will be upgraded to 'Registered User+'. Then you will be allowed to have an avatar/signature.

but i've been here for way more than 1 week and i have 21 posts. how come i still dun hve a signature ability? ;_; :cry:

Sorry about that... the information I wrote for that FAQ seems to be out-of-date. I'll go fix that up. Follow the link below for the lastest info on becoming a RU+ user.... my guess is, with the recent release of 'Still Fantasy', the criteria for becoming RU+ has temporarily been raised.

Ok, from the faq link ColaPoP has posted, it states this:

Note: Once you've reached those requirements, you have to wait at least 24 hours before the board promotes you to RU+ ..it is not done the exact second you fulfill those requirements.

From your posts, it seems that you have just reached the 20th post at around the time you have posted this message. So please be patient, you will probably be upgraded later on.

And ColaPop, is your FAQ really that outdated? O_O

Cats Yeah, I know. 1 month and it's already outdated. Gosh darn it.

And the reason I think bawkbawkchicken has not been 'upgraded' may have something to do with the board settings. It states in the forum FAQ (http://jay-chou.net/forums/faq.php?faq=jcnet_faq_item#faq_jcnet_faq_item13) that new album releases may change the qualification criteria temporarily to 50-75 posts, plus a wait of 2 weeks instead of 1.

I guess we'll know in 24hrs *fingers crossed*
