Being October, which is Halloween season, I'd thought it'd be interesting to discuss ghosts and haunted places. I'll start things off by telling some of the local stories around me.
Pasadena, CA- Colorado St. Bridge, or Suicide Bridge, commonly referred. A lot of suicides on the bridge, and the area under it is even creepier. There's trees all around, and a supposedly haunted mental hospital. Our school bus drove around under the bridge at night, and it's really creepy.
Alhambra High School- There's a bridge connecting my high school and the field. It's said that a girl committed suicide on the bridge before fences were put on it. She could be seen hanging or sitting on the bench. Some of my friends say they've seen an old lady running at night. Another is a baby carriage on the field, with a women approaching it.
Another story I've heard is in the band locker room. A guy committed suicide inside, but that's all I know of the tale. Maybe it's a coincidence, but there's always a chair in the middle of the room.
These are the main local stories I'm aware of.
