Guys you're probably wondering why is this poll is only for girls. But after you read this topic, you'll understand...

Anyway girls, why are a Jay Chou fan? Here's the choices:

He's good-looking, that's why!
His music is great!
Both, he's the best and hot singer
None of the above, because I have my own reasons to like him
I'm not a Jay Chou fan...

i chose HIS MUSIC IS GREAT! =) haha! =) well, it's true for me. i'm a jay chou fan because i think his music is great. sometimes, i would find him handsome, sometime, no. so yeah... lols! XD

I chose "His music is great !",too.I'm really impressed by Jay's music at the 1st time (in Grandfather's tea).He is so cute in that clip,too.But sometimes,I thought he isn't very good-looking (my mother thinks so) but then,I found that he is very very cute (such as his style,his clothes and the way he acts in each clip).Does anyone think like me?

i Chose BOTH, he's a great singer, talented and hot. However my type of hot is of the cute irresistable kind haha not the sexy body type, although i have nothing to complain about with regard to his body XD

#1: I love his compositions
#2: I love him playing the piano
#3: I love his mumbling
#4: I love his charm and figure
#5: I love his creative mind for directing MVs
#6: I love his determination to fulfill his dreams
#7: I love the way of him being filial to his parents and grandma

basically there are about 101 reasons why i wanna be a Jay Chou fan. :wink2:

He doesn't have the best voice, but he's had some awesome compositions.

Most of his lyrics are written by Vincent Fang.

LOL that's why I love Vincent, that guy is one of the few people that can so flawlessly transcribe emotions into words.

Definitely his music...i remember the first time i saw his An Hou MV and at that time i'm still a big fan of American's Boyband...I just turned to another channel but not long after that i watched his Kai Bu Liao Kou MV and just fell in love with the song...Even now i still dont understand how could i like his music so much even though i dont understand a bit of what he sing...:shy:

Although I chose "His Music Is Great", i also have other reasons for being an ardent fan. I love the fact that he has pure, undiluted talent! :) oh, i love the way he sings too... but i won't say that i like his sense of fashion cos i really don't :p i like it when he wears semi-formal though, really flattering...

i didnt knew how jay looked like at first when i was first listening to his music.. when i started listening to them i was thinking.. wow.. this guy must be real good.. i really liked the music.. but what makes me went over the top was how good looking he is.. nice package he got there.. haha

HIS MUSIC! i fell in love with his voice the first time i heard his song an jing. i didnt bother to check what he looked like. =] other artists change their music style to suit their images, but jay chou doesnt and that's what i love about him!

i think he is hot and also a great singer:-) he is crazy talented in music. i guess most of u agree with me. and his style of singing is different from others. he is hot! come on, look at his body. in the lyrics book of still fantasy and fa ru xue (hair like snow) mv. i like his chest. no doubt that i like guys with 6 packs *bluek* anywayz, music comes first to be a jay chou fan.

to be honest , i dont think jay chou is good looking. i started to lik him back when he just released fantasy . im his fan because i like his song . not him . now he look much better than last time . but his music is the main point .

I think it's a little sexist to have a poll for girls only.

What if a guy wanted to comment on Jay's hotness? Does their opinion not count for the simple fact that they are male? And dude, you made the poll and you're male! What happened to 'sticking up for the team'?

I see what you're saying but I have my own reasons for doing this. First of all, from what I'm seeing, about 2/3 or more of active board users are females. So what's the point creating a poll for 20% or less of the users who probably don't even post on anywhere. Second, as a male myself, we all know what we are a Jay Chou fan: it's because he's cool and his music is da best! :wink2:

Yeah you're right. One of my friend thinks he's *** because he couldn't understand Chinese. :dry:

at first i wasn't attracted to his looks, cos i didn't think he was good looking at all. but then i heard his music and they made me go WOW. that was after i heard the qi li xiang album. now i like both his looks and his music, cos somehow now i think he looks really great, but his MUSIC is still the one that made me like him in the first place. :D
