What's your rating for Still Fantasy?

So here it is. I wanna know what ya'll think. I've already asked a few people, and they already say this album isn't as good as his previous ones.

Sigh, I was quite disappointed with this album and it's my least favorite out of all his albums! =/ I usually like 7-8 songs per album, but for this one I only like 2-3! Ergh!

Track 9 was my least favorite. He didn't add any of his styles or twist in that song. Really disappointed. =/

well, i think this is one of my most favorite album after Fantasy, 8D, and YHM. Jay actually did try something new in this album, but i still don't get it why someone will always complain that there's nothing new in it or why the song sound so different from his other song, when they actually asked for something new, and then when it came out, they all complain about it. >_<

I have to admit i don't like track 9 that much, but i'm happy that jay actually tried something new to please the people that complain about his lack of creativity.

NC imo is one of the wrost album from jay ever! It's still good, but out of all the album from jay, it's the one that i got tire of in less than a month, where all the other album i could go on for almost as long as 6 month.

I was kinda disappointed. Even a lot of my friends who are Jay fans said it wasn't good. Well, one of them said that it really sucked compared to November's Chopin, but i wouldn't say it was that bad. I still like a couple of the songs on this cd. At least four, Bai She Feng Che, Hong Mo Fang, Tui Hou, and Ye De Di Qi Zhang. =/

wow...im suprised that this album receives so low ratins...i love it!...i love all of his songs thats in it...i just feel that 10 songs doesnt seem to be enough actually...i wish there was more...but i thought that all of the songs r cool n different but at the same time its not...either way...its still somethin new! i think this album was worth it! n yea it does get annoy when peoples complain bouts Jay all the time with his music.....i dunno...

WOW why do so many people think this album is so bad. Personally i think it's awesome~ it's one of the best CDs that Jay's had. i like YHM and this one the best.

Jay rushed this album while filming with his golden armour movie...Vincent also delayed giving him the lyrics..casuing the delay for the release date..i dont expect this album to be very good either..anyway..it is still a good one..

Track 9 is one of my favourites! Jay has never used this style before. I also absolutely love track 10. I have listened to it about 50 times in a week. I really love track 2, 3, 6. I wish there were more fast songs. Track 1 and 4 - I'm growing to love those too! Track 5, 7, 8 seem very similar but they are nice and soothing as is typical of Jay's music. Very relaxing!

I don't understand what people are saying about Jay not changing. I like his style and he should stick to it. In fact this is why he has my high respect. He did have new styles in a few songs, which is just right... actually perfect, in my opinion.

My first complaint is the CD is very short... 40 or so minutes? It won't even last a whole bus ride to school! My second complaint is the placement of the songs. Track 5, 7, 8 should not have been placed so close together. There are not enough fast songs near the end of the CD.

I think this album is my my second favourites to fantasy album... he has added some new style like track 9 i like that song very much... The other songs like hong mo fang and ben cao gang mu is very nice too... So far i had not skip any tracks of this album when i hear the cd...

i donno about you xiaoting but mi die xiang definitiely is one of my favourites!! it's so different compared to the normal jay chou stuff.. you can't keep expecting him to be the same old jay... :wink2:

Well I quite like this album too.I mean this album jay really tried lots of new stuffs which I really enjoyed it.I am disappointed that so many people don't like track 9 cause it is one of my favourite song in the album.....

The only songs that had something special was probably like Ting Ma Ma de Hua, Ye De Di Qi Zhang and the rest is probably much iof a remake of old songs. If there was a rating from 0-10, I'll say 5 or 6. I voted for "Eh it was okay" just to be fair, or else I'd put something like horrible or "It didn't meet my expectations". But hey, his songs are still nice to listen to but it's just not like big successes like the old Fantasy and old albums that he sold for way more and was way more rated IE like QLX and November's Chopin.

I don't think he's going to sell that much of his album copies.

i feel that the album is pretty good. initially i felt it wasnt that gd.. but after listening to the songs more.. i got the hang of it and understood why jay nvr disappoints me. the song he tried doing it in a different way was fine, however i still like his ballads better. for example, tui hou or bai se feng che? i would rather him add upbeat songs than try out other styles. like ben cao gang mu is catchy ya? wouldnt mind that too. and i have to say it again....... the mv's cool =)

Still Fantasy isnt bangbang fantastic but slowly gets better. Jay seems to have matured musically in this album...some songs are so-so but the good ones are truly awesome. I like all the songs actually, with tracks 1, 4, 5, 9 and 10 as my faves. As for the change of styles or not...nothing more to say. If he doenst change, ppl complain, if he changes like in track 9, ppl also complain!

Allright I support Jay, doing whatever he likes, coz no matter what, ppl will never be satisfied. But overall, in the Mandopop industry, Jay is the only few that can produce a constant high standard of music. .....the others are like.....@%%

TRACK 1 夜的第七章 (7th Chapter of Night) luved it n luved even more after watching the MV

TRACK 2 聽媽媽的話 (Listen to Mama's Words) omg the lyrics! luved it..was thinking of my mum wen listening n had a few tears coming..aww

TRACK 3 千里之外 (Faraway) Feat. Fei Yu Ching ..heard 2 many times on the radio! getting bored now but its still good..the MV is okay..

TRACK 4 本草綱目 (A Herbalist's Manual) i hated this at first but then seen the MV n i was like WOW! n now i LOVE LOVE LOVE it! move with the beat ppl!

TRACK 5 退後 (Retreat) luv it like it who has the lyric? i luv his slow mo music...

TRACK 6 紅模仿 (Red Imitation) dun really like dis one dun hate it too much either! hate the "ah ah ah ah eh eh eh eh" bit but the rhythm is good, not my type though

TRACK 7 心雨 (Heart's Rain) like this apart from the "xin dan ka =christmas card bit" i duno y but i just dun like that lyric!!

TRACK 8 白色風車 (White Windmill) this one is ok but not bril..listen to it once or twice

TRACK 9 迷迭香 (Rosemary) i like his efforts but i dun think his voice suits this kinda song...prefer his fast n quick ones..dis one is just...shiver~..too different..

TRACK 10 菊花台 (Curse of the Golden Flower) ergh really dun like this one! dun like lyrics, dun like the name dun like the whole track eeeeee

OMG...!! i so0o00o agree with u on that one...NUMBER 1, peoples...we have to know that Jay was young back then..of course his music then..was very innocent n cute..n yea..just YOUNG...n Carefree...! Not like he isnt innocent anymore now..but he is gettin past his manly hood..to MATURITY...his songs match with WHAT HE IS right now...hes a ffull grown man...its just not gonna be the same to sing a very YOUNG kinda song when ur that age...its just like gettin a 9 year old to sing a Fei Yu Qing's old songs...its just not....yea..right or suitable....

yeah i love this album ...... yeah i didn't really except too much out of this album because i heard it was rushed and everything but when i listened to it i love it it was great and jay still hasn;t lost his touch plus i love the faraway song it so nice and sound like those old classic chinese songs i like

It's my most favourite album since Qi Li Xiang!! Even my mum, who doesn't like Jay, said that all the songs in the album were very nice.. There's only one song in the album that I don't like, and that's Ju Hua Tai.. The rest are absolutely AWESOME!!!

i only got his album yesterday so today's the first time i got the chance to listen to it properly.

when i listened to it for the first time, i thought it was weird and no song really stood out. (except for QLZW because i saw the MV before i got the album.) but when i listened to it a couple of times, i really started to like the album. i can say i'm relieved as i was really dissapointed with November's Chopin (and QLX... but NC was worse). i'm glad he decided to try out new stuff that actually works (for me that is xD). i like most of the songs of Still Fantasy and there's none that i hate, so i think Jay did a great job this time.

I love it but overall I think it was pretty good only.
The songs are kinda typical...I really prefer Jay singing songs like Ye Ye Bao De Cha, Lang Man Shou Ji and Jian Dan Ai type.
I think I'm loving the MVs of this album more than the songs...

I think Still Fantasy is pretty good overall. I mean its not the best nor is it the worst. The album has its good songs and its bad. Ting Mama Da Hua (?????) and ???? (Chen Li Zi Wai) are both pretty good.

In Novermber's Chipon, my first album I heard from Jay, almost all the songs are my favorite. However this album is quite disappointing. Most songs are very related to Maple and Black Sweater's music. Only the first 4 songs are great but, except Twilight's Chapter Seven, they aren't that great neither...

Although I love Twilight's Chapter Seven! :shifty:

I really think that this album will be as good as other albums even thoughI still didn't listen to any of his new songs because I didn't buy this album yet, but I swear that I am going to buy it for sure and also as soon as possible. ><~

I reckon this is probably my 2nd fav album after Novembers Chopin....
I got 5 favourites here which are Qian Li Zhi Wai, Tui Hou, Bai She Feng Che, Hong Mo Fang, Ju Hua Tai. However I dunno why my version of Hong Mo Fang is slow and a song, when I checked on youtube it was a fast rap...... =s, so confusing.
