Would Jay make a good Film Director?

Do you think Jay would make a good film director? He does a great job on MV's and the work he did on Twilight's Chapter was GREAT. For me, the answer would be Yes. I'd love to see a film opening with 'Directed by Jay Chou'. What about you?

i think jay would make an excellent director. seeing his name on the opening credits and the trailers will definetly attract me and make me want to see it

i think he will. he got the experience already in directing mvs and acted some movies.
i like the mv Bu Zhuo Ni de Peng You he helped S.H.E to direct it.i feel that the storyline is very creative.

jay has totally proven that he's a great film director cuz all those mvs he directed. i always look forward to his mvs cuz they are sooo jay n unique. it just has that something different compared to the others.

yes. definitely. i was already surprised by his creativity when i saw Fa Ru Xue's and Feng's mv, and all his directed mvs are getting better and better. i love the mv for Ye De Di Qi Zhang, it's very cool movie-like, Qian Li Zhi Wai's mv is very nice, Ben Cao Gang Mu's is cool and the little zombies are cute at the same time, while Bai Se Feng Che's is just too cute and sweet. i would love to see what kind of movies he'd direct, and i think that he will continue to surprise us. but if i have to choose between him the singer and him the directong, i'd choose Jay the singer. i don't mind him directing as long as his music isn't affected. yep.

Well yes I feel that he'll be a good director. He always comes out with new ideas for different MVs and they're all really cute :) Always looking forward to watch the MVs he directed.

I say "Maybe". I like the way the MV of 'Twilight's seventh chapter' was directed! It's really like a movie.. but the plot was a little predictable as one could guess who the culprit was. Nevertheless, it was a good effort so I'm thinking with jay the perfectionist working on a movie, the result will be diao too! But for now, he seems to be contented directing MVs.. more practice.

i'll bet he will and will someday,he got great ideas in most of his mv,that he directed..but he still need time to gain exprience if he wish to make movies,i mean making a movie is not easy + making good movies is harder,as i wish to see quality movie not something just because he directed it..

Certainly, definitely, absolutely.. All the mvs that he directed in the album are totally awesome!! Esp. Twilight's Chapter Seven.. If Jay were to direct a movie, I bet that movie would be the most popular and win the most prizes.. But of course I'll still prefer him to stay as a singer..

judging from his current work directing the MVs, I believe he can be a really good film director.
He's really creative and is able to put all his creativity into works :)

Well, i think Jay makes a good mv director... his ideas for his songs mv are just so wonderful... from the first mv he directed for himself to the latest one in Ye De Di Qi Zhang, he manage to direct a mv which makes anyone who watch it put their thumbs up after watching it. i think this really shows his effort and the creative him not only in his music but also him as a director filming. However, movie is otherwise. Movie is a big production and it might takes some time and experience to be able to make a good movie which is different from mv since the length is definitely a big difference. However, with more effort put in making his mv in the near future, and also the experience gain, he might be able to become a movie director making good films.

We have seen his work already and they have reached a reasonable level of quality and a distinct personal style. Given a bit more practice he can be great. Jay has a great sense of perception and seems to instinctively know what looks good and what looks bad, what "works" and what "doesn't work". Even if he didn't have all the technical skills required yet, he has a very clear idea and vision about what he wants. The technical ability I'm sure he can learn them as he progresses.

I think he will be a great director!

yeahh jay's improving each time he does an MV for his songs. just look at ye de di qi zhang and u can see why =) the effects are soo nice. haha. i always look forward to his mvs too ^^

i voted for maybe. its not that i dont have faith in Jay or anything it jus i already get used with Jay singing and acting but maybe directing is the next step for Jay to spread his wings in this industry. i've watched him directing in his new mv and he's getting better and better. he'll be a great director one day :)

I voted 'maybe' because, although Jay has successfully directed several MVs, full-length movies are different than MVs.. :oops: Not that I don't think that Jay can't do it or anything like that, but there really is a big difference, not just in the amount of time usage.

I'd definitely support Jay if he were ever to direct a movie, though! :D

I think jay would make a good director, he has improved alot in his directing skills an example is the ye de di qi zhang mv... however, i prefer jay to stay and make greater music though... haha... i would still support him still if he decide to direct movie... x)

Of course he will. The MV and those advirtisments that he directs are pretty good ( at least i like them..) and he doesn't just stops there, you can see his improvement with every singles that he produces! he is also very hardworking and willing to learn, that's what's nice about him:D
