I think that the best place to live would be to live in HOng KOng because everything is so convenient. but there are bad things to living there too.

In my opinion, Hong Kong is the best.. Besides been convenience, it has many beautiful places to enjoy, and good food in every corner of the street. (Especially their deserts) :P

i would say Hongkong also. It is cheaper living there than alot of other countries and i heard that it is a shopping paradise there with lots of good food.

hmms, i would still say Singapore; my hometown.
though i can't experience the 4 seasons, but there aren't any natural disasters for me to fear of. i can live in peace. it's definitely a place where i can call home, cos there's my family and friends. :D

however, i feel like experiencing the life in both NY City and Honolulu.
NY City's life is very fast-paced, even faster than Singapore.
whereas Honolulu, is more to the summer, and hotter than singapore.

New York, it is like my dream to work and live there someday. Other than the treat of terrorist, i think that living there is very cool, with many museum and it is a shopping heaven too!

Though, I won't be able to experience the 4 seasons, and the education system here is rather rigid too. Hahaha I still love Singapore!

Actually i would vote for 'other'.. because there are so many places in the world that are great to live in! I voted for Tokyo though.. For its great architecture great food beautiful sceneries and great seasons! However i would choose Greece New Zealand Venice Italy.. Oh my god too many many places to mention! Travelling is indeed a great experience......

:excited: what a coincidence!! my friend and i were talking about this and saying which place is the best for our future kids (if any)..cuz so far we don't like how the schools are being run now in our area..well so she just informed me that Canada seems like a pretty good place to live. cuz she told me that she watched this documentary and there was this one part where these 3 kids ditched school and the reporter asked y n the kids just answered "well we have the books" when kids around my area would have said "school is boring...waste my time." They also were questioned about their country and they KNEW the answers (coming from kids who ditched school) which in my area um..:worry: well they woulnd't know at all...unless it's entertainment. n how even though almost every house has a gun cuz of hunting or w/e but their death rate from guns are less than in u.s.....:shy: it's just from a documentary so it's not like this everywhere.

i was about to answer S. Korea cuz i'm crazy with korean artists, dramas, shows..basically their entertainment ..n it just makes u want to live there ..like w/e is seen on t.v

The best place to live is Da Lat Plateau - Viet Nam- My country!
It's not only beutiful place with many landscapes but also has comfortable weather : cool and foggy every day os the year. The air is fresh and the foos is marvelous! You will love and remember it whole life if u go there, I swere!

Well i just vote for 'other' coz the country posted does not have the place that i like,ok so,erm.....places that i wish to go to is the first S'pore,and M'sia....and then Taiwan(although there are some problems there and can go and experiece the 4 season s they have there),that's all i wanted to go,i think,coz i only want to go places where it is easy to communicate with,like for instead,in S'pore the people speak common languages such as chinese and is easy for me,not like other places such as Russia or what so ever,i have to get a people to translate for me or do some action for them to understand what am i talking about,so this difficult.And this is the reason why i wish to go to these 3 places.This is just my opinion only,i guess.

The places on the list are great places, but they're really place I'd like to visit as opposed to live in. Hong Kong seems like a great place full of life but it also seems really crowded and the air-quality is not very good, the same can be said for Tokyo.

I'm obviously biased when I say Canada, but it was named as the best country to live in several years in a row by the United Nations, I believe it's now Norway, followed by Sweden and Australia :D it's very peaceful here but there's still lots of culture and life in our cities. The air quality is nice, there's lots of fresh water and we have free health care, I rather like it here :)

About this poll I vote "other" and I would say "Vienna" in Austria...
I love all the old buildings and how it looks when winter coming.....and I can feel warmness on summer^^...
but I do want to write some about some of those on the poll...
about hong kong...it is convenient..I like hong kong "smelly tofu" and "spicy meat ball" (uhm I dont know the food's name.....sorry)but i dont like the way they socialize....(sorry...heart feeling)
about Paris...I would say that Paris is such a romantic place for honey moon^^ but everything is expensive, isn't it?
New York...uhmm such a busy city...
Beijing...too many people...but it is a beautifull place...
Tokyo....uhm quite busy as well..( I think....^^) but I like harajuku and shibuya^^ love all the way japanese people talk...(the politeness....)and the way they wear clothes(fashion mania...^^)
Honolulu...getting tan and tan and tan..^^ love the excotic beaches...

For me, the best place to be living right now would be right next door to Rain. Muahahha. Best is if there isn't any door seperating us. Hah!

But seriously, I think the best place would be Singapore if you were to start a family if you want to have a slightly safer neighbourhood. But before all those setting permanent roots kinda thing, I wanna experience having a nomad lifestyle. Try staying in probably new york and hongkong for awhile and then in some island (Koh Samui) and experience a beachbum lifestyle for at least 2 years. Sigh... so many dreams, so outta reach.

The best place to live is definitely San Diego, California. Its never too hot or too cold. Daygo is the best because it just has everything. The weather is great, its always sunny with clouds, with a breeze from the ocean, the temperature is always around 70F. But it is considered to be rich, houses start at $700,000 USD. To me its just the ideal location, literally. And plus its the place i get all my Bapes and LRG.

I chose Tokyo. I really liked it last time I went. Everyone was REALLY polite. Seriously, the only slightly impolite person I met was when this man accidentally poked me in the head with his umbrella and didn't apologize. And it's also really safe. I heard girls can walk alone at night and there wouldn't be any bad incidents happening.

And Japanese food is also really nice and so is the shopping!

I chose Hong Kong but Singapore is a really good place to live. I love the food in both places. haha. There are both good&bad things about HK. Singapore is beautiful and clean and has a lot of offer. I almost moved there to go to school. Tokyo seems great and i'd want to visit but im not sure about living there.

i chose other cos i live in Perth and i think its an awesome place
maybe its not so great entertainment wise liek compared to hong kong or tokyo but i like the way of living, living standards, pace of life, and other stuff
also a good in the environmental bit too, sort of

perth was rated number 3 best place in the world to live in some study thing that i read in a newspaper a few year ago (i think melbourne was number 1)

Personally,
I would love to live in Taiwan. Yeah Yeah that is where Jay is from. But really, I looked up everything that I could about Taiwan, and found it to be a really nice place to live. Yes, there is air pollution, but where I live now in Houston, TX is not too far from them with air pollution from all the chemical plants. But I would love to live there because it is beautiful and peaceful. Plus there I can speak my Mandarin that I am learning. I always dreamed of living in an Asian country. I would like it to be there. If not, there are other Asian countries that I would love to live. Japan is one of them. Very costly to live there though.
