I don't think there's any distributors in australia. It would just just some music shops getting them from over seas and selling it in Aust and that would sometimes take up to 2 weeks... so wait patiently and maybe even go to the china town shops and ask around :D

I got mine yesterday. It's the official one too.

Michlle--> if you're in Sydney, go to the 2nd (or was it 3rd?) level of the Marigold Centre. you know the building opposite Market City? there's a CD shop in there and they've got it in stock. :wink2: I believe they have a student discount too.

thanks for this info! Before, I thought Jay's album wouldn't be out in Australia, and I was thinking of buying it online, but it's actually in Sydney!
I'll search around Marigold Centre then. [I'm not sure where it is though]
Do you think the shop in Market City [The CD shop right above the escalators] would have "Still Fantasy"? Because I know where that shop is, not the Marigold one.
Thanks again.

I'm not sure whether the Market City one has it but worth a look.

Marigold Centre is easy to find it's just opposite MC (towards central station direction). walk up the stairs into the centre and there are escalators to go up. it's either on the 2nd floor or 3rd, can't remember which. but the shop sells official stuff, unlike most of the shops in chinatown.

ker_ai_teresa- Does the shop in Marigold Centre have both editions? The one with poster, and the normal one? Would you know the price of them? It should be $20 for the normal edition, without the poster.

I was just thinking if I should go all the way to the city to buy that or buy it online for $20. If it's the same price, i'll just go to the city.

Yes, they've got the regular and the poster edition. the poster will cost you extra $2 I think. I just got the regular one since I don't care about posters.

look, if you have trouble finding the Marigold Centre, just go to the main chinatown street. there are a couple of CD shops that sell the genuine album. There's a new store in particular that has SF for $28. It's called Wing Po Tong in chinese and it's kinda opposite the underground foodcourt.

as for ordering online, you'll need to imclude the postage and handling cost which is generally about $7-$10?

hi..i'm new here...living in syd too...
well..i want to share my experience buying jay chou's cd in syd...(chinatown)
beware of the fake cd...( i mean the copy one....some store in chinatown sell it with the same cover etc...)
i'm pretty sure that you wont buy any pirate cd, right??

you have to be careful then won't you? if they're selling it for $10 then it's quite obvious that it's a pirated version.
from what I know, a few of the stores actually stock both the genuine and the pirates, the latter of which they keep in the back of the store. So get the ones that are displayed out the front.

I bought it at he shop on level 2 in the Marigold Centre, there's two CD shops that both sell official chinese music, I went to the one with the sofa in it. Since I preordered, I got the poster and CD at 20% discount, which cost me $28.

I think the regular price is $35.

Anyway, the shop was very efficient, I went to it 2 days after Still Fantasy officially released and they had it. I remember the past years, the other cd shop i went to took like 4 days to week or so. so I'm happy.
I got the poster the moment I preordered as well.
They probably still have some left for you to buy now.

Thank you guys.
I also live in Sydney and I happen to walk pass China Town almost everyday as a way to class, but I never noticed the Marigold Center.... I only see Market City. I have to search for this shopping center as I still don't have the copy of Still Fantasy.

By the way, is there such a student price for a CD store??

I just went to the city- I remember it wasn't called Marigold Centre. There was a Marigold Chinese Restauant sign in the front but the Centre itself was not called Marigold.
I got my copy of Still Fantasy, they're having the sale. $28 for the CD and the huge poster. Normal price is $35.

Don't go to the one in Market City- it is pirated
