Ooh condemn it, I want a pretty wallpaper with the lyrics to Jay's new song and I want it now ;x hahaha, but I'm not sure how to get that to work. I get blank white spaces and the English characters underneath. What I can copy and paste to Microsoft Word or Notebook doesn't seem to work for Photoshop (I have 7.0, btw, and Windows XP). I tried googling it but nothing seemed very helpful or clear.
If anyone has a clue how to work this, I'd really appreciate it :flowers:
EDIT: thanks for all the suggestions. i played around with what everyone said and finally got it to work! it was basically checking the fonts i had installed and making sure the right ones were used as starting fonts. now to find pretty ones :> thank you to all the people who helped me <3
And I'm not sure where to express this so I'll say it here. The new layout is so pretty and clean.

I think I can type Chinese. I just tried typing out random pinyin and it seemed to work in Microsoft Word but only for simplified Chinese. And then when I tried to do the same in Photoshop, it still didn't work. Gahhh

Make sure you actually have the Chinese fonts. In photoshop, when you pull down the font list, near the bottom do you see a bunch of Chinese fonts? I copy and paste right into it and it works fine for me.

hey, i just tried copying and pasting on photoshop again, and it worked. uhmmmm...is it because you dont have the chinese reader program installed? *shrug*

i think i can help. i am almost certain. oh photoshop you have to have the correct font in order to write chinese, something like "SimSun" or "GB2312" then if you copy and paste and some reason the font changes back to the original font, then copy and paste it on a default only type editor. like for example, copy and paste on the quick reply on these forums, then highlight all of them and copy (becuase it over writes the first code which included the font) then paste back on to photoshop. (make sure u change the font before you paste it back)
this is just a guess but a short cut might be to just copy and paste from the begining and then highlight all of it then just change the font.
