Hi everyone..I just downloaded one zip file with a bunch of .flv files. I want to combine all these and open the file, but I don't know how to go about it. I tried using HJsplit to do this after renaming the files into .001, .002 and so on but it won't work. Any tech experts can help me on this? Thanxs in advance!

Hmmm...

You could use cinemaforge to convert the files to various formats, like wmv or rm.... You can download cinemaforge here (http://www.download.com/CinemaForge/3000-2169_4-10410160.html).

I know this is a really really old thread now, but I just downloaded a whole bunch of flv files today (mainly fancams  ) and I thought it'd be more useful to be able to play these in Windows Media Player, cos I can't be bothered with another media player JUST for .flv files AND you don't need to convert files (possible loss of quality) AND because downloading from Youtube supports .flv files.

Anyway, I found this thread:

http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/how_to_play_flv_files.cfm

about 1/3 of the way down the page, it starts "Recommended Solution
Even though VLC can play your FLV files without a hitch, some users will prefer to be able to play the videos on Media Player Classic or on Windows Media Player" and that's where you follow it step-by-step. A bit more troublesome than installing a FLV player, but I can play my flv files perfectly in WMP now. It's recommended!
