Ok, I really shouldn't be starting this thread because I don't know heck about them.

But I'm sure you guys have many things to say. :whistle:

OMG. It is finally here. A chance to finally bash 183 Club! *throws confetti*

When they first appeared on the scene, I was like "WTF?!". It was downhill to start with. They apparently took a bunch of "good-looking" (note the inverted commas) guys and threw them into a group to milk more money from the nubile young girls segment.

I had the misfortune of catching one of their MVs on MTV channel. I wanted to look away but I couldn't. It was like the scene of a car accident. They were all prancing about, splashing themselves with water and basically, looking "oh-so-hot" into the camera :sick:

What gets to me as well is, why is Shaowei - who is a member of 5566 - also part of 183 Club?! Are Taiwan so lacking in decent-looking men that they need to put 1 person into TWO pop groups?! Sheeeesh.

This is Shaowei. WHAT'S WITH THE HAIR!!?!? Can't afford a haircut? Darn, how sad.

Oh and do you know why they're called 183 Club? Apparently (:rolleyes:), their average height is - yep, you guessed it - 1.83metres.

Like, oh wow, I am so impressed, I'm going right out to buy their album.

But i hate how they look already, they never produce any good songs/ dramas. Well, i don't watch their dramas because their is just too ugly for me to watch them for the whole 20 episodes.:dead:

Yep. It's a fact that they are called 183 Club because they are all 183cm tall or taller than that.

They are worse the worst! I never like Jungiery Stars. And I hate them the most among the Jungiery Stars (Typhoon comes in 2nd and the 3rd place goes to K-One). I think all of them are a bunch of guys trying to be popular over nothing. Or being 1.83 metres tell in this case. I mean, what's the big deal for guys to be 1.83 metres or taller?! It's nothing extraordinary! But if they're 1.5 metres or shorter then they should start a group.

And I don't even know why they allow Sam Wang to be in the group since he is already in a group. Very selfish guy. Just choose one, don't be so fickle-minded!

The first person I really don't like in 183 is Johnny because he can't sing nor act. I think one of the worst duets was him singing with Toro. I can't remember the name of the song though. But that song certainly puts me off.

The better singers are Ehlo and Jacky. I pity them because both of them didn't do well in their solo career and are so-called forced into being in a group. I think they hate themselves doing that too.

I watched Guess last week on TV and saw that Ming Dao is ranked first as the favourite idol of Mothers. Hmm, does he look like a Mommy's boy? :dry:

183 Club as the name of the group sounds so cheesy, I think they could have thought of a better name. :sweat:

hey, u know what. I know the guy Ming Dao of this butt-licking band. I watched him be a VJ or what for a show called something like Travel King on TVB8. I love that show so much, I liked him alot to. The show is about exploring the minority cultures from around the world (but I doubt that he can go that far). he was really friendly, humble, his smiles and interactions with the natives looked sincere enough. He even dared to taste food with flies gave shit on it just for the sake of being polite. But now, look at their picture, i gonna swear that that food sure was poisoned with some kinds of drug that can change a guy to gay. Someday, if he wears an underwear over his head, I wouldn't be surprised.

183 club was NOT named 183 club because each of them were at least 183cm. And their average height is also NOT 183cm. Uhm, Shao Wei, Ming Dao and Yu Rong are all below 183cm.

As for why they were named 183 club, it's bcos they thought it will sound weird to come out and say that 'We are 180 club' or '181 club'.. I guess they think 183 club sounded the most normal(?) out of all the others. So Yea.

And they spelt Jhonny normally, as in Johnny. I've also checked other sites.
Maybe the site you checked just has a very unfaithful fan. They can't even spell their own celebritie's name properly.

Nah, the pictures werent for their album. And actually, their album was pretty successful in china and hong kong. I bought their album :whistle: and uhm, these pictures were not included.

firstly the band name is corniness to the ABSOLUTE. i mean, so what if they're height are averaged around 183?! we dont like artistes for their heights T.T (ironically, me and my friends call ourselves 154.8 for eng class as that's our average height. a dig at 183? i dunno haha.)

THEY CANNOT SING. no not only for normal nuts, they cant sing for WALNUTS! (now those are bigger nuts! =D) all the huskiness that's supposed to be 'man'.. face it man their vocals just cannot make it. and they are SO NOT HARMONISED as a band.

ZOMGGGG.) he hosts WQYL once in a while and he is a really really bad host. whenever he's on WQYL i dont bother to watch. he's soooo arrogant!!!!!! i just cannot stand the way he think he's the best actor and so many dramas he acted in are so 'popular'. (probably due to the massive amount of blind fans tuning in to watch T.T) and sun de rong treats him like some precious piece of gold because he's bringing in the money from all the viewership of the dramas he acted in.
