yes i can't stand them. reasons ?

* they can't sing
* all they have is a cute face
* charlene acts all "kiddy" in her movies all the freaking times

Gillian, to me, is better than Charlene but she's still considered part of Twins..so yea. Everytime i watch a movie that charlene is in..i just can't enjoy it as much because most of the movies, her character is always acting so kiddy and immature. i think she needs to grow up. :rasp:

i have no clue..haha i don't keep up with them. you should ask a twin fan. but the news about gillian. she got caught changing and pictures of her pretty much just in her underwear got posted up in magazines and all.

I don't like them very much because they can't sing, but I have to admit they are sooooo pretty. They seem to be maturing in their musical styles though... not as bubble-poppy anymore. But of course I prefer people who are actually self-made and not packaged like Twins.

I prefer Charlene more =]

Twins Twins Twins...i kinda give up on them, too tired to bash them also...thanks to their fans who defend them like it was their own life...

They can't sing thats a fact and everyone should have noticed that, im waiting for one of their performance that i will enjoy without making weird face cause of their live singing.

Their fans LOVE to say that ppl that dislike Twins should give them credits cause they improved, yes they did, thanks god they did after what? 5 years in the industry and more than 10 album released with many versions each time.if they dun improved then WOW...

and i dun like when their fans use the hard work as an excuse to defend them, they cant sing cause they dun have much to practice, they work too much blablabla...i hate that cause it sound like other artist doesnt work and are on holidays while the poor Twins are working day n night.

i agree with u guys abt the Gillian's incident, the pictures are nothing compare with what they exposed in some photoshoots but still taking picture of artist in changing room is really wrong.

FINALLY!!!

I still cannot for the life of me figure out WHY they are still successful. I predicted 3 years...it's been more than six now. To make things worse, they're trying to break into the Taiwan market now, and one of the reasons why I went into the Taiwanese music scene in the first place was to get away from groups like them!!!

I cannot understand why they are still so powerful in Hong Kong.
One, they have no talents in singing, dancing OR acting. Their songs are so stupid and the lyrics make me want to throw up. I'm ashamed to admit that I listened to them for a few months six years ago. They have no sense of rhythm and can't dance to save their lives. Both of them are so unnatural when they act.
Two, they sound HORRID live. I heard them once and I was nearly in pain. I swore I would never watch them live again.
Three, the two of them are over 20, yet they still act like they are 16. I really dislike girls that try to act cute...it sickens me, and to see two 20-some year olds doing it makes me want to hurl.

I have to say I sort of sympathise with Gillian for that recent incident, but honestly, she should have seen it coming going into the business. It's not the first time that it's happened, so stop making such a big deal over it.

I think I would respect them more if they didn't churn out crap albums with 2 good songs every 3 months. I would much rather wait an entire year for an album with 8 good songs.

I hate it when fans defend Twins by going on about how much they've improved. Yeah, they've improved...after 6 long years. And I don't bother with their albums. Out of their latest Mandarin album, I only liked 2.

I saw this clip of their HK concert at the beginning of this year, and 'Mok San' (the little boy who became famous after appearing on his HK show) was their guest. He was singing one of their songs, and my mum and I said even a little boy with no previous experience can sing better than Twins, so called 'professional singers'

Whenever you see them singing on stage, they look so lost as if they have no idea what to do. Even after 6 years of experience, they looks so unnatural.

I really dislike Charlene's acting. She always plays the really cute and loud character. That's all she can do.

The only good thing I have to say about them is they have good work ethic and Gillian is super pretty.

I never really understood why they have such a huge fan base. Many of my friends like them and support them whenever I try to criticize their songs and their singing.

They can't sing and they always try to be cute little girls.

The magazine incident is huge because it invaded the privacy of Gillian and since they have an innocent image, even showing a little shoulder causes a big uproar.

Personally, I don't have anything against them and yes, they are cute and bubbly looking but PLEASE!!!! They can win awards in the music industry? COME ON!!!!! Move over for those who actually have talent! Sorry if I'm offending any twins fans. Personally, I reckon Gill is prettier than Char and Char is cuter than Gill but I think they really suck at performing and singing. I wouldn't mind them if they were models and stuff...but...yeah...I think they use too much of their pretty face in the entertainmetn circle.

i really have nothing against them at all and i still listen to their songs..they were the first artists i liked when i started listening to cpop..but i really don't understand how they can get so many awards for their so called singing.... like at the mtv asia awards they were running against the GOOD singers like eason, joey,leo, andy..but they won! i was like what the... anyway can somebody tell me why they come out with so many cds!?!?! in jan. its was samba..and may? or june? it was their mandarin cd..and now HO HOO TAN!?!? i think they're just in it for the money..its better to work on ONE album and have it be really good then produce as many albums as they possibly can...and they always have more than one or two versions..which really makes me mad..so i dont buy their cds anymore..-_-

Let's revive this thread, shall we?

I saw Twins live performance at the TVB8 awards and they seriously can't perform live. They did off-keys twice. Aiks. They have been in the music industry for 5-6 years and yet their vocals are still *cough* weak. *cough*. Their dance moves are...somehow terrible, their lyrics are cheesy, lousy sense of fashion.
I even heard that they lip-synch in some concerts and award shows.
Their acting are also mediocre since they concentrate 70% of their time towards acting. They have no talents, be it singing, dancing or acting.
I'm sorry for them. Haiz.

They only took singing lessons recently - like 5 years after their first album. And I can't believe their new album cover - Gil looks so ugly. I'm more OK with Ah Sa but I hate Gil... they both can't act.

And Gil looks really bad in the new album, dressed as the groom.

I don't even understand why shops kept playing Samba Queen 2 years ago - it was the worst song I've ever heard. Screechy vocals... ARGH MY EARS!!

I totally agree. Twins cannot sing, and they have a so-so face. Charlene is not any better than Gillian, but yet she has more popularity. They do not have any special traits that even allow them to become celebrities. If you look at their interviews, they cannot even respond to the host in a proper way so that the conversation keeps on flowing. And yet every year, you hear their albums and awards. Their fans back them up by saying "well, they improved! or they are improving!" whenever people start saying that Twins do not deserve a certain award. Come on, guys,just namely, Jay is still improving too... so are many other people! Just improving is not enough. You have to actually be deserving the awards.

I just saw this movie yesterday. Well, parts of it, because it was kinda boring at some parts.
Gillian was better than ah Sa in the movie. Ha, but I don't get why they call it "Twin's Mission" because it's not like the whole movie was really based on them.

its always the same pattern, sometimes gillian fans hate charlene whilst some charlene fans hate gillian. but for starters, i would like to say, i am NOT a fan of twins, gillian or charlene.

you keep on saying that you hate charlene yet, you cant even think of a good reason to hate on her. why do you like gillian? you already said that both their acting and singing are average(if not, sucks). isnt it kinda unfair to charlene? should i assume that you judge peole by their looks and adknowledge people as your idols based on how they look? if you hate charlene, i dont see a reaon why you should like gillian.
