YES!!! I was trying to refresh the page like every 5 minutes! There was once I managed to get a seat on row 10, then when I was at the confirmation stage, it hanged! Arghhh!!!

I kept trying until I was so frustrated, I went to a SISTIC outlet to purchase the tickets. I ended up having my seats at row 16 in the PB-1 Block, pretty far back, but oh what the heck. I have tickets to it at the end of the day.

It's time to start listening to his songs for 2 months! :tongue:

Yup - I did, we managed to get PB-1 row 13 not too bad actually, I don't think there is a chance of you grabbing LeeHom down! There is no free standing area.

You're right you know ene, the lady at the sistic outlet i brought my tickets at told me that there are rows reserved for the offical fanclubs etc. In fact, for every concert, there are certain seats that are 'blacked out' from the public, just that they do not openly announce which seats are 'blacked out'.

As to how many rows was reserved for this concert, the lady wasn't sure, and she said that it varies from concert to concert.

Sickening to us non-fan club members isn't it? :tongue:

i realise that at leehom events.. there's always unfairness in who gets seats or who gets to line up first..

before .. i went to a leehom auto session in singapore and at the front, they had this thing where if you bought M1 plans.. you could get in first. i mean, that was fine.. very normal..

so everyone waited and WAITED and WAITED..
some people were there since early in the morning. and these girls standing next to me were actually the FIRST ones there..

we were right at the front.. and then when the auto session started.. it was announced that not only the people who bought the plans could get in first..
ALL people who had M1 plans ALREADY could too.. -__-'"

do you know how many people in sg have m1 plans.. HEAPS
so everyone could go in first.. resulting in me and those girls who came first to be in the LAST batch. -__-'"

even some people who JUST arrived like last minute.. they could get in straight away.

A couple of us went there pretty early before they set up the barriers and all, then they started allowing people with M1 plans going in first, then there so so much confusion and shouting from the security guards. It's just all a mess, but in the end, we still get to shake his hand though. :happy:

But it's normal for seats to be reserved for fanclubs. It's the same thing when I brought the tickets to Emil Chau's Concert in Dec. I brought it on the first day and the highest priced ticket very early as well, but the first 10+ rows were already taken up. It was the same when I went to the backstreet boys concert too.

So I guess it's just how the way things operate. Unfair it may be. But, oh well, I guess we just have to live with it.

Yap.. they always like to block out seats... to those sponsors i guess. or maybe the fanclub people bought the front rows? i think it's highly possible too. But hopefully everyone will get super high, & u guys can just rushhhhh to the front. That was what I did at his previous concert in 2001 I think. Towards the end, everyone just rushed to the front despite the pricings of the tickets haha...

BTW, my sis got the tics for me, at the side, but I think good enough already la haha..She too complained that the system was real slow. And I think the tickets are selling realy really fast, so if you guys wanna watch better grab them soon!

Yes! The indoor stadium is really pretty small. And it's capacity is down by 1/4 when artists close off one section of the stadium for the stage. I think at most it can sit around 8,000 people.

Which is why Jay opened a four-faced stage to accomodate as many people as possible, but its not easy to have a 4-faced stage during a concert. At max, the stadium can only contain 11,000 ++ people if I'm not wrong.

But even if one section of the stadium is closed, the stage is still awfully small. :worry: Nevertheless, I'm sure leehom won't disappoint!

Actually, I'm not very surprised that the tickets in block PA-1 and PB-1 are sold out in a day. Think about it, with almost 50% of the tickets that are probably reserved to the sponsors and the fan clubs, whatever that is left is up for grabs to so many of us fans who don't belong to the fan group-sponsors group. :oops:

No, you can only get the poster if you have a sony ericsson phone, the singtel plan is only for priority queue and it must be a specific plan or something...

And he will ONLY autograph on the poster.

Actually no. The SE phone is only an alternative way to get the poster. Leehom is here to promote his concert, so actually, he can also sign on your concert tickets (which probably wont be of any use but anyway). So as long as you have the poster, you can go.

Liwei.. its actually very easy.. four words - Just Follow The Crowds

Its true.. I always follows them, and I managed to get there..
If there is no crowd.. here's my directions:-

Alight at Kallang Mrt Station
Exit from the right exit
Cross the road to the opposite side (still facing right side of the mrt station), you should be able to see a small bus interchange
Walk straight along the path outside it until u reach another junction
Cross the road (still going straight)
Walk straight into the People's Association
U need to walk through it, and u will see an exit
U should be able to see a overhead bridge after the exit
Cross the bridge
U should be able to see the National Stadium
Walk past the carpark, and walk to the building where there is many resturants..
The indoor stadium is just right next to it

Anyone pls help to correct me if I'm wrong.. as I haven't been there for quite some time.. I don't know if there is any changes..

Or an alternative way, if you don't wanna walk all the way from Kallang MRT to Indoor Stadium, which is a very long walk, is to go to Dhoby Ghaut MRT station, then take Bus 16.

It will take you straight into the Indoor Stadium. Don't worry about missing a stop, because you'll actually see the National Staduim, once you see the National Stadium, press the bell and alight. Or better yet, you see which stop everyone will alight, again follow the crowds. :tongue:

A word of caution though. Try not to take any buses after 7.15pm, all the bus 16s that come after that time will be full, whenever there's a concert at the indoor stadium, plus the jam, it'll be a terrible bus ride.

Just got back from the concert and it was AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!! Lee Hom's vocals are amazing live. At one bit, I even got goosebumps just listening to him :love: It was a brilliant concert. $100 well spent! :wink2:

It was pretty similar to the Taiwan version so if you missed it, grab his dvd! The stage in Singapore was a lot smaller but generally, it was pretty similar. He played the song "Cinema Paradiso" on the violin. That was AMAZING. :love:

I know the $168 tickets were sold out but I am not sure about the rest. The stadium did look very full though but I have to grouse that Singaporeans stay glued to their seats!

I was in the $100 tickets area and although the fans around me were banging on the plastic long balloons (I think they were giving it out) and some were blowing on their whistles, they stayed glued to their seats! It was only when he did "Bu Ke Nen Cuo Guo Ni" which is like the SECOND LAST song of the night, when me and my gf couldn't stand it and just stood up to dance along, then everyone else followed. :rolleyes:

Lee Hom spoke a lot of English. In fact, at one bit, he actually said he realised that he's been speaking a lot of English and then he switched to Mandarin and said he should improve his Mandarin. Awww......

i think my friend managed to get a whole bunch of videos though...!!!
(she intially couldn't make it to the concert coz of a business trip (was devastated) but somehow miraculously it got shifted and she managed to get even better seats from the fan club)

The concert was simply awesome! (Okay I know my vocab is very limited :bleh:) Leehom sounded GREAT live. Better than Jay I would say..

I was at block PA-1 Row 13, so actually it was pretty near to the stage. It would have been a pretty clear view if not for all the japanese people standing up and shaking in front of me.. Haha.. But oh well. It adds to the atmosphere.

It was rather similiar to the taipei concert.. But it was a little shorter; it started at 8:30pm and ended at about 11pm... So yea. Man, I feel so sorry for leehom when he said that he's jealous of his co-workers cos they can go home (they are singaporeans). And he has to return to work today! It's just so sad..

The guest was Alan Ke You Lun. Here are a couple of photos I found of him and Lee Hom! Did you know that Alan is the son of the late Taiwanese stuntman/actor, Blackie Ke Shou Liang? His dad was famous in Hong Kong.

Yea, i was at the concert too! :D Interesting. Lee hom is such a talented guy. I did not watch the dvd so i find everything new. The encore segment where he lies flat on ground then silence for like 10 seconds was hilarious. Is this part in the dvd? If so okay i was slow.

Wow, that's pretty cool.

so they got special treatment like first row seats? Were there any non-famous fans that were able to get font row seats? Anyway here are more close up photos of his concert. Leehom's lost a lot of weight, I'm so used to him looking buffer in those costumes, but poor guy works so much. I read in a news article that Lee Ang only gave him a day for his concert so right after the concert, Leehom without even sleeping, jetted back to HK to continue shooting. He looks really lanky and skinny, hopefully after the movie he can get some well-deserved rest.

I think i know excatly where are you. By the last song, you and some around you are already standing up. I was in the middle seats of my row and i have to say the people around me are stones. :dry: Eveytime my friend blows the whistle, the lady sitting next to her will turn and look at her.

By the way, the Gai shirt is free-sized, and it isnt the same as leehom's one. Leehom's one is sleeveless, and at the bottom of the Gai word it doesnt say heros of the earth.. The one they are selling also has a 'leehom heros of the world' printed on the left sleeve..

By the way, Leehom is on the cover of i-weekly last week ( I think a new issue was just released yesterday), so I could upload the scans if anyone is interested :wink2:
