Well.
option 4 is of my choice. Once my mom sniffs out something wrong with almost 'anything", her garrulity for sure will sparked off ...... and this is the time I stuff the earplugs into my ears.
Rarely give her backchat as I am trying not to provoke my mum into making a no end of lecture.
Is it really for our own good ? Well, i am in doubt

haha! =) i chose the fourth one too. "Frequently , but .... is it a bit overlong ?" i don't talk back to her either, if not her nagging will become longer and she would even accuse me of more things.
i would just ignore her and keep nodding my head. she would stop after awhile. i am already use to it. haha! =) i'm sure it's for our own good. afterall, there is this old chinese saying, "bu ting lao ren yan, chi kui zai yan qian". if u don't listen to old people's advice, you would regret at the end. =)

I get it from both parents though. It's always about how bad grades will screw me up, and how they will see the day I fail.
It doesn't make me angry or mad, but I feel like a failure.

i got used to all the lectures, its like they try too hard. like for my mom, she talks, takes a breath, and repeat for like an hour. i just tune out, i get the point but they still keep going.

I really have used to my mom's constant lectures even though we have been a thousand miles apart since a few years ago...I'm in US while she's in INdonesia.
But she still call me like a few times a week and most of the time she lectures me when we talk :(

lol, i'm a pro when it comes to avoid mom's lecture. she used to give up on me because i was so good at it. the thing is, when you think you had done something worng, just pack ur back and go back to your college...
i'm getting real good...

Wanie Wow , you are brave enough !
Even if I have the nerve to pack my bags
I have nowhere to go ….. :worry:
….. I don’t want to sleep on the street
I am still under my parents’ wing
..... and I am powerless to against them
that’s why I have to bear with all these
maybe I will find all these worthwhile one day
……….who knows ?
Normally my dad gives me lectures... This and that blah blah... But it's ok, coz he definately has more knowledge and experiance than me.
I don' normally get those lectures... Only after some incident happen e.g. I crash the car or I seriously screw my result. My mum doesn't has much to say, and if she would, I won't listen, lol~

im actually used to my mom's lectures, especially everytime i go out and she tell me "be careful" but there times some lectures seem to be behind their time to be used like she began to tell me and my sister the 'sex talk' but she stopped because i was laughing too much since i already learned about it from school. but other than that its the same ol same ol lectures.
often but most of the times it is my fault because i don't work much....
but i mean it IS my life and though i live under her roof doesn't give her the right to control my life. this may sound like a teenager lashing out but to me it's the truth. so be it.

All the time. Sometimes, the smallest things can cause her to go on long talks. For example, I tell her I don't like milk, and she goes on and on and on about bone density, osteoporosis and building healthy bones etc etc. I don't eat breakfast for a few days, and she goes on about how I shouldn't go on a diet and be anorexic.
And then there's the usual 'be safe when crossing the road, be safe around males' talk. I know she's trying to protect me...but it just ends up boring me to death whenever she launches into another one of her long lectures.

I chose the fifth one. Gosh, my mom is totally at me. Even if she is not living with me anymore, she calls long distance just to lecture me and tell me what to do!:D
Sometimes it just enters one ear then leaves the other ear right away. I guess the best way to battle this "mom getting on you case thing" is just to say... "Uh-huh... yeah...yep!"

hahahaha i choose the wrong >.< one but yeah oh wells
but yeah my mum use to always give me lectures ...even about the small thing that don't even seem that important
but i guess as i grow older she gives me less and less lecture because i guess she has learnt that i don't even listen to them half the time lol and also because i'm older she know that i know how to take care of myself

Oftentimes.. but anyway, I deserve all these
She lectures me about almost everything, (eg. coming home late, being rude, and etc.) but yeah, I know I deserve all these, because I do feel guilty after she lectures me.
