[Question]Is downloading Winrar and unrar free??And how do you download them??

Hi,i would just like to ask is downloading winrar and unrar free,coz i read the guide of winrar just now,that it says exracting the files needs to be paid $22 or $10 something something.So i was feeling that if i need to download that winrar with paying then...i will be mad by my parents.Can anyone please tell me??(in detail)Thank You.

The reason why i ask was because that there was one of the clip of which was posted by myo53(if i'm not mistaken)that the clip was using winrar......the clip was called behind the scene of ye hui mei(not the same as the one that come with CD) .So please anyone whose kindly can help/explain to me how do you dl/upload the winrar and unrar,and is it totally free??Coz i really want to watch the clips.Thanks.

Winrar is adsolutely free...i had used it for years without paying a single cent..so you dont have to worry about it..trial version of WinRaR already can provide you with everythings..unzipping/zipping files doesnt cost..

yea its totally free, some of the programs that have the same features are powerarchiver (fav), winzip, etc. but if u get really annoyed from the constant ads of upgrading, i can get a registration number to get rid of it.

Ya,i've read this guide,but still i couldnt understand much of it,coz this dl-ing things,i'm new to it,so i learn this thing quite long,know what i mean??So anyway IT'S TOTALLY FREE,right??Anyway,thanks for your info.!!
