For me, my current hated song is You're Beautiful sung by James Blunt, who makes me wish I could hit him with a blunt object so he never sings again.

I am pissed off at this song because...it's played everywhere. Every time I turn on the radio there he is, singing his emo whiney song about how he saw some hot chick but then some angel was laughing at him because he couldn't get jiggy with her. Good thing she's with someone else, you stalker creep.

The Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWfbsxiwq2U) contains even more emo goodness, with James Blunt staring soulfully at the camera and proceeding to take off his clothes on a rainy...beach? Included are closeups of his ugly face, mouthing the stupid lyrics to this song, and wait did I mention I watched this on mute? And it still is fairly terrible!

When I first heard Rainie Yang's "Ai Mei" I thought it was a decent song, but with the popularity of "Devil Beside You" and Rainie herself, I started hearing that song freaking everywhere, and by the time I had finished watching the drama I wanted to kill something everytime I heard the damn song. The chorus is especially grating, whenever I hear Rainie sing "Ai mei rang ren..." it's just painful.

Now whenever I hear the song, it instills me with this incredible urge to kill something, if anyone every wants me to inflict pain upon another human being, just play this song, and wait for it.

I absolutely CANT stand the song "Xin Yuan Huang" or something by Jolin Tsai... out school had this Chinese assembly and a friend of mine told another friend to sing that song during the assembly so I started to hear her singing THAT DISASTROUS SONG EVERY MORNING. And it doesn't HELP when my other friends sing it all the time and put the three chinese characters as their MSN display name. Seriously, that song sucks... and to think that it started the double J thing again a few months ago :crazy:

Whenever someone even MENTIONS that song name I go on ranting about how bad Jolin's singing is and start slapping them with my textbook.

It's been banned at most British radio stations because it has become the most overplayed song of the decade. I didn't get sick of it though 'cause I'm always fast to change the station whenever I hear Mr. Blunt's annoying whiny effeminate voice. :wink2: But I like the video for its captiviting simplicity. :sweat:

OMG that song (can you even call it a song?) is like pieces of musical junk all put up together as a filler to Paris's debut album. Actually, it's not a really bad song. But what makes it mediocre are the shallow lyrics, the poor instrumentation (the intro doesn't connect to the song at all), and Paris's breathy voice whispering Jealousy, jealousy, jealousy... all throughtout the chorus. :oops:

Currently however, seeing as I'm listening to the new David Tao Album, that duet he does with Jolin, good god, that 1 song alone ruined the album for me. It has nothing to do with the fact that its Jolin. The whole "DT's in the House, Jolin's in the House" that whole wanna-be hip hop but not really, bugs the living crap out of me. The fact that its Jolin doesn't really help its case either I suppose, but thats no the main reason it bugs me.

I hate the Las Ketchup song. A few years ago, it was played almost everywhere. It drove me nuts. I didn't even think it was a good song, why does people like it? It's reallty annoying.

Another one is tha Chicken little song , that nomanomaye... stuff. At first, i thought the song was pretty funny, UNTIL, a new boy band called 2moro (with the two twins) re-sung the song, and it was horrible! They were like singing shabu shabu, 的浪漫浪漫夜, 浪漫浪漫夜 etc. (shabu shabu, the romantic night, romantic night etc)

I like David Tao's 'Tai Mei Li' album, but the some Wang Bu Liao is so annoying. Every time I hear that strange hook 'I can't get you out of my mind', I feel like hitting the speakers with the closest thing I can find. The song is so annoying I get a headache just listening to it.

And don't get me started on the Stars are Blind song by Paris Hilton. Can you even call it a song? All you can hear is this thin weedly highly synthenised voice. Even a cat can sing better than her!

I was watching this show called 'Top 10 Live' just now. And I realise that I hate half of the songs on the chart. I can't remember exactly the song titles and singers.

But there's one song called 'I Love My Chick' and I FREAKING HATE it when the guy keeps on repeating the sentence 'I love my chick... I love my chick...' while the girl keeps on saying 'I love my baby... I love my baby...' after him. I so want to ask them to shut up and stop repeating that stupid and meaningless sentences.

Then there's another song called 'You Wanna' (or 'I Wanna', sorry I can't really remember) by T.I. if I'm not mistaken and the MV keeps on showing babes that wear bikini and walk on the beach. Then suddenly it focuses on this particular chick and the camera keeps on focusing on her bouncing boobs and arse. I was like, WTH?! Don't they have anything better and more meaningful to focus on?! The MV is like... :dry: The singer keeps on repeating the line 'I wanna... I wanna...' also.

And lastly, I remember this song on the chart called 'Temperature' by Sean Paul. Actually I hate him a lot. Especially his voice. Then all his songs. Oh my god.

hahaha :D. thats the main reason im not really into rap songs (not reference to the girl). im talking about the whole "i cant think of anything else to sing so i will repeat myself". i've noticed a lot of rappers will use "oh oh oh " and "yeahhh" repeatedly in a lot of songs. what is this? a frickin' Kool Aid commercial? all we are missing is a Jug of Red Liquid bursting into the scene.

I have this thing against David Tao, not so much his music, but my thing against him really prevents me from enjoying his music. The only song I heard off his latest album was his duet with Jolin and it's cute and catchy but I agree whole-heartedly, that "DT in the house/ Jolin in the house" sounds ridiculous and the way he says her name is so absurd (wtf? JOLEEN?) it makes me want to punch him in the face.

He just sounds really obnoxious, there's nothing wrong with his English, but how he comes off in the song during that part is just grating. David Tao can't pull off any sort of 'urban vibe' or sound 'hardcore,' being/sounding 'cool' is already enough of a stretch for him, he just lacks that 'diao' feeling. He's talented, even though I don't like him, I can admit that, but it sounds like he's trying too hard to be cool.

I might have liked 'Tong Hua' for like a short while, like you know the first time you heard it, but soon enough, when you started listening to his other songs you came to realize that THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME and then soon enough everyone had to play/sing it everywhere.

Well I can't deny that i quite like some of the Guang Liang songs, but I agree, after hearing songs like "Tong Hua", "Dou Shi Ni" and "Yue Ding"... I thought "Guang Liang you should be able to do better than this... songs like "Yong Gum" (Brave) are the songs I want to hear from you... not the same repititive notes."

Ah ha! Jill Wei, now there's someone who is absolutely grating and horrible. My sister showed me the MV for "Lonely" and it was the first time I had heard the song, and I just wanted to keel over and die after listening to the lyrics. The rap is absolutely ridiculous and the fact that she's fluent in English makes it all the more headache-inducing, what a horrible song. Everytime I read the album title "Hit me" it's like "I WISH I COULD," what a waste of oxygen.

I agree with judes' first post! James Blunt's "Beautiful" has horrible lyrics, especially if you hear the unedited version! I was thinking about downloading that song a couple of years ago, but I looked up the lyrics and I was shocked! :shock: How could they put something like that in a song that's all like "You're beautiful, you're beautiful, blah, blah, blah"? LeeHom once did a cover of that song live, and he sang the whole thing. Some of his fans were really confused, but that's because they'd never heard the full thing.

LeeHom's "Yao Gun Zen Me Le!!" also drives me crazy. It's catchy and I like LeeHom, don't get me wrong, but that one song is just horrible! The Chinese music parts sound like they were just an afterthought to make it sound Chinese, but it's not the same as "Zai Mei Bian" or his other songs in that style. He also gets all screechy, I don't get it.

I also hate that stupid rap in the beginning of Rihanna's "Umbrella." It makes me want to barf! The rest of the song might not be so bad without that part.

Qinghe: "Niang Zi" does have kind of confusing lyrics, which is kind of typical from Vincent, but I think they're basically about a man (Jay) coming home to his wife after making mistakes and going through hardships. It's about how grateful he is to her for all the things he's taken for granted. I think Jay actually considers this song to be his most meaningful one. Even though this is the "Anti-X" forum and I can't defend the song, I can clarify what it's about. :angel:

1) Either they cut and paste from other songs and like make it into a new song
2) Or they translate from a English song.. Alot of mandarin songs are like that

Ugh! I completely agree! Can you believe she sang that song in no less than 8 languages, including Mandarin?! It's such an awful song and the foreign language versions sound like a robot sang them! The explicit version is the worst. I don't see why people like it. Almost all of Avril's songs have random profanity thrown in. I don't get it. This one is the worst I've heard, though. I don't know why there are so many versions, probably just to annoy us more!
