I used BT to download all my videos and yes I'm from Singapore.

Speed occurs around 50-100kb after acceleration patch is used.

As for upload speed, I normally customize it around 50-60kb.

Using utorrent client.
But speed varies alot.

Sometimes it can go up to 250kb/s+ when seeds is plentiful.

average would be less than 100 but more than 50.

using Starhub Maxonline 4000

I heard from my bro about this, I'm not very sure. I also found that using different network can change the speed, I remember using a network to d/l but it is only 2 or 3 kb per sec but after changing to a different network, it increased to 10+ kb per sec...

I don't use bittorrent as frequent, mine is about 10+ kb per sec, it may looks small to some of you, but I think it is the fastest I had seen so far...

i heard somewhere that its very hard to inrease speeds if using cable, compared to boradband. im using starhuble maxonline 2000 , and my friend uses singnet broadband. but funnily enough my spped was about 20kb while hers was aorund 60kb though we are d/l the smae exact file.

there are many ways to increase the speed of your BT

1. Open your router ports if you are using a router

2. Allow your BT port to be allow in your software firewall

3. Use the tcip patch that increase your half open connection if you are using win xp. (IMPORTANT)

4. Configure your BT client to enjoy the increased speed.

last time i used to get 5-10kb/s but after applying all the above mentioned steps i can get maybe 20 times the speed i used to get.

I use BT as well, and I have a router too, just that I'm quite skeptical, if I open the router ports, that means my computer will be more prone to viruses/hackers etc?
I heard Utorrent is a bit faster than Bitcomet, but not sure too.

I use Azureus 2.5.0.0 now and I can reach 40-50 kbps, sometimes higher, with my MaxOnline 4000 connection. Open the required port in your firewall (I use 49991) and it should go -bang-.

Squall, which TCP/IP acceleration patch did you use? The one from Speedguide?

You mean the Tcp/ip patch?

Yes.It can be used for all bit torrent client because it main purpose is to change the half connection number of win xp.
