There have been many good animations films made by Pixar in recent years. But which of them is your favourite and why?
Each of the films have proved to be a great success earning millions in the box office while also entertaining viewers with colourful animations and creative characters with their own personalities. Pixar go into great detail over looks and moods of its Protagonists and they prove to be some of the greatest story tellers ever.

I can't select more than one?!?!?!? Tough choice.
I picked Nemo. I think all pixar films are very creative in plotline, and character rendering, but Nemo keeps me entertained the most. Plus the underwater animation is really something. I haven't actually seen cars yet though, so I'm not sure if my vote is totally valid...

Exactly! Personally, my favourites are Toy Story 2 and The Incredibles.
I think that overall Pixar makes the best animations in terms of storylines. They don't really need to rely on big names to lend their voices to make it good. It's so feel good that I am almost always smiling when I walk out of the cinema..
I chose Toy Story 2 in the end... I think it was the first animation that made me both laugh and tear up...

I <3333 Finding Nemo. I think it's absolutely adorable. "HA! I touched the BUTT!!!" XDDD i love that line. And how the sharks are chanting "Fish are friends, not food." This movie was in my opinion the funniest one out of all of them, so it was a pretty obvious choice for me.

Oh man, I couldn't decide between Finding Nemo or Monsters, Inc. I thought Boo was the cutest thing in the world, and Sullivan the most lovable monster, but I thought Dory and all the other aquatic beasties were adorable too XD
I love Pixar movies though, they always reflect things that you see in people or in society in general and also include the usual kiddie jokes like "i touched the BUTT!!" without being boring for the little kids or annoying for the older people

the reason i chose only to let people choose ONE film is because i did state it is your "favourite" disney pixar film which means one. it would defeat the purpose if i let you choose more than one.
or maybe i am just a meanie. :P

You ARE a meanie. You are wrecking havoc in Poll!dom, and we tremble in terror (in this thread anyways). Given the choice, my 2nd movie would have been Monsters Inc. maybe.... or Incredibles? Gah~~~
And the blue fish is Dory! Dory rules... all that whale talk made me laugh.
[after whale blows Marlin and Dory out]
Marlin: THAAAANKKK YOUUUUU SIRRRRRRR.
Dory: Wow. I wish I could speak whale...

ColaPop: i did not intend to cause such chaos in my third day of arrival - i guess i am just the spawn of the devil.
pixar does come up with a lot of memorable quotes from all its films. i absolutely loved the new cars film- thought it was hilarious. the concept (talking cars) was a little stupid but pixar has proved they can make characters out of everything. even talking fish.

Was that the one you voted for? Cars?
See, I haven't seen 'Cars' yet. Now i feel Like I'm missing out....slight tangent here, but I want to see Hoodwinked, is that a pixar production film? Cos the previews of the movie make me believe it would be pretty witty/funny.
Spawn of the devil... you don't smell like a noob to me. Perhaps my noob radar is off?

Well it's kinda hard for me to decide wether to vote for Finding Nemo or Cars. But in the end, i votefor cars because the movie means a lot to me. I watched that movie with my crush :shy: lol
It's kinda a weak reason..but i do love the movie. Give a whole new meaning about proud, friendship and also hard work to me :wink2:

You are definately missing out if you havent seen Cars yet. its just so damn funny even for the more "adult" aswell as the younger kids. each character has their own amusing personality - apart from Doc Hudson.
I just googled that Hoodwinked film. It doesnt look like a typical Pixar film so i really doubt it is one - then again, i know nothing about animations and their animators.
what ever do you mean that i dont smell like a noob? please explin dearest Pei.

i really like finding nemo bcoz the story is quite fresh...but i do hate the after effect that the movie has brought...ppl gather to buy clown fish...which a marine fish shldnt b living in freshwater tanks...thus resulting in alot of nemos lookalike to die...

Its got to be Finding Nemo. Who can ever forget Dory and her whale speak? XD
The Incredibles would come in a close second but Finding Nemo is still the best Pixar film around.

i do agree that FInding Nemo was an incredible film. I heard it was hard to animate as they didnt have shoulders so movement was limited. Don;t you think most people like Finding Nemo because the characters in the film were cute?

yeh! it was on the news that there were a high number of sales of clownfish. a few months later a lot of shops refused to sell clownfish to those who didnt have the right equipment to care for the fish - especially those younger kids.

I watched the Incredibles recently again.. I was intrigued by it all over again! I really love Pixar animations... Thanks to Steve Jobs.. haha. But overall Pixar animations always have good storylines and plots.. The characters and effects are all considered very good. Without a doubt Nemo would be ranked first by votes, but i choose Incredibles for its action, family, superhero, EDNA MODE!, JACK JACK and of course the INcredibles themselves! Go watch it again guys, it so good :D
