What are the Jay Multimedia and Downloads & Links Forums?
In the simplest of terms, Jay Multimedia includes all sorts of Jay's Audio clips, Video clips, Interviews, Commercials, Sheet music for Piano, Guitar Chords, and lots more, while the general Download and Links Forum includes mostly just Music or Music Videos of all sorts of other asian artists.

The other forums in front of it (Jay Video's, Jay Music, Jay Works) houses archived media and access is restricted to the JCNETizen group only (formerly JCNET Regulars group). You can read more information here (http://jay-chou.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4517) on how to become a JCNETizen.
*note* at this time JCNETizen hasn't been implemented yet, JCNET Regulars is still in effect.

The Download & Link forum is the 5th forum in the General Forums. It also contains a subforum for requests called the Give-Me Forum for all your non-Jay requests.
How do I get into these forums?
First, you need to be a Registered User. Check one of your own posts, and look on the left hand side.

If it says Newbie!, then keep posting!
These 2 forums are also now passworded. The password is bought with your "Points" which also appears on the left side of each of your posts. As you can see our example member above has 0 points. Be aware that you may have more points stored away in your bank!
The password for Jay Multimedia costs 10 Points and the password for the Downloads & Links forum costs 20 Points.
There are lots of ways to make points. Posting good posts, creating good threads, receiving 'Thank yous' or reputation from other members, playing some of our games, and lots more which you will just have to find out on your own.

How to buy the Password
*Step 1* While on any page on the forum, scroll to the top and click the Plaza button, a drop-down menu will appear. Click the first option JCNET Plaza Main as shown.

*Step 2* On the new page, scroll down until you see the options below and click on the Forum Options button.

*Step 3* You will see the screen below, click on the Get Forum Password button.

*Step 4* You will now be given a choice of which password you wish to purchase. Select the desire password as shown then click the Purchase button.

*Step 5* If you have enough points, you will be asked to confirm that you want to buy the password. Click the Purchase button. If you notice the amount is less than 10pts or 20pts, that means you received a "senior discount"

*Step 6* The password will now be given to you! Be sure to write it down.

*Step 7* Now go to the forum which you have just bought your password for. When you try to access it, you will be presented with this screen. Enter the password and click Login.

Congratulations! You now have access to the forums. Remeber, the password will change from time to time, usually once every 3-4 weeks or so, so if you are unable to access the forums anymore with your password, it is most likely because the password has changed and you will have to go purchase it again.
FAQ
I bought a password, but I forgot it! Where can I find it?
Don't worry, simply go back to JCNET Plaza Main as shown in step 1 of the walkthrough. If you have bought the password before, you will see this under User History. Be sure not to click the Remove Log button however, as it will delete this item from your item history, and you will have to remember the password on your own from now on

I have enough points, but I can't buy the password! Please help!
There are few possible reasons for this. First the system will automatically round your points up so that it doesnt show decimal points. So for example if you have 9.7 points, it will show 10, however you do not have enough to buy your password.
The other possibility is that you have your points stored in the bank. Be sure to withdraw them first before purchasing the password. You cannot use points in the bank to purchase items.
When I try to buy the password, it gives me an error and says "Item is out of stock." What should I do?
This means you need to wait 24 hours to try and purchase the item password again.
Do I have to enter my password everytime I log on and go to those forums?
No, as long as you have your cookies turned on, you don't need to re-enter the password.
