Why can't I post outside this forum?
JCNet is a tidy and well-organised forum. Our regular members prefer interacting with members who abide by the forum rules and know how to post well. We encourage new members to post-and-wait to increase the quality of posts on this forum.
AVATAR / SIGNATURE - why can't I have it?
New members who stay on this forum longer than one week and have 20+ posts, will be upgraded to 'Registered User+' (this status allows you to have an avatar/signature). We like to reward members who stick around.
You've been here longer than a week with 20+ posts, yet you're still stuck in the Newbie Sanctuary? Why?
This rarely happens, but if you break too many forum rules you'll be locked into the newbie subforum by a moderator. Demonstrate to us (via fresh posts) that you can follow the forum rules, and we'll be more than happy to let you get out and enjoy the rest of the forum.
Topic 2 ALL Newbie threads are temporary and do NOT add to your post count.
Where's my introduction thread gone?
If you cannot find your thread in this forum, it has been deleted.
Why has/will my introduction thread be deleted?
These threads are deleted weekly to keep this forum tidy, and to encourage you to socialise beyond this forum.
Why can't I make a new topic in Newbies Sanctuary?
Because you are no longer retain 'newbie!' status. This forum is reserved for new members to introduce themselves.

Why are Moderators so scary? I'm afraid to post in case they scold me...
Who, us? We're a bunch of pussy cats. Given the chance, I'd rather bake-in-the-sun and drink pina coladas all day *lol* We're just net-izens on a forum like you. The difference being, we have an official role to play on the forum. To enforce the forum rules. To provide support to the forum admin, and its members. You do your bit & we'll do ours. Follow the forum rules, and we'll leave you alone.
Why so many rules? Why is this so confusing?
Like I mentioned above, with a new sub-forum and new features galore...we are in the process of making this the best forum it can be! Being confused is just part of the process of adjusting to a new environment (in this case, a new forum). As for the many rules, they are there to help us, help you. Really :happy:
