Which English football club do you support?

alright guys. i know you've all been waiting to find out which English club is the most supported one in the world. so here's the poll to find out who will be the eventual winner.

definitely the red devils for me.. been supporting them since they won the treble in 1998/99 season.. although they have been disappointing in recent seasons.. but they will pick up, i believe, this season.. :happy:

i like to root for the underdog... so my pick is tottenham hotspur (not one of the choices)... i think they're up-and-coming, and my favorite player from this year's English side, Aaron Lennon plays for them.

I think you really should've put down all of the clubs in the Premiership, rather than then 4 who are best known and at the top of the tables. Because that way you're giving a biased view and implying that the other clubs are not important.

Anyway, I support Liverpool.
And if you want to know which of the clubs is the most supported AROUND THE WORLD, you can take my word for it that it's Liverpool.
Out of these clubs, Liverpool has the largest fanbase around the world.
It's an accepted fact by many.

Lol I was considering between Liverpool and Manchester United and I picked the latter in the end.
Basically I don't really know these 2 teams but they're the 2 that I hear most often.

I've always been a Man U fan, since young.
Because when I was young, I always watched Man U playing against other teams. & I always thought that guy named Beckham is cool, although I didnt have a bit of idea who he was that time. (Then I realised I like him, which makes me a Beckham fan today.)

However, the other players in Man U today is good too! Their tactics is way cool! I always love to look at those footballers kicking the ball around, their tactic is just superb. & specially, I love love love Beckham's free kick and wonderful, crosses!

I think people shouldnt watch, or insist they love football, because the guys are hot. Although I must agree that some are hot, but that shouldn't be the reason to enjoy football. It's... shallow.

It was when Beckham transferred to Real Madrid that now, I support Real Madrid all the way! But still, go Man U!

The only thing that turns me off about Man U now is Christiano Ronaldo. (no offence)

Yet if it's a match between Man U and Real, I'll go for you, REAL! (((((:

Not which club used to have a guy that you think is hot.

By the way, if you like Man U. because it had Beckham BECAUSE YOU LIKED BECKHAM'S PLAYING STYLE/PASSING/ETC., then your reason for voting Man U. is valid.

This club really allows new and raw talent to develop there and I like that they do that. Gives football-wannabes a great chance. And that did happen to dear Beckham. Lol. Enough after his departure, I'M STILL LOVING THIS FOOTBALL CLUB. It's the best in the world. Simply.

I support Blackburn Rovers haha. It's a bit different from the normal clubs people support. I always get teased from my friends. But I'm glad they did well last season. Hope they will do even better starting from tomorrow! :D

I know their recent performances are not that wonderful but I have faith in Sir Alex Ferguson. I've been supporting them since 1996 or 1997 (just before they won the Treble) and I absolutely love some players like Peter Schmeichel; Roy Keane; Ryan Giggs; Gary Neville (i know he ain't fantastic these days but he does come up with good defending at times..); Jaap Stam; Rio Ferdinard etc... [ And yah... Beckham is NOT on my favorite list...]

I really hope to see them coming up the tops again this season and the thrashing on Sunday gave me a little bit of hope..

i suppose Wigan Athletic. i dont really support a team just because they are good or because everyone supports them. i have liked Wigan ever since they were in the Championship and was ecstatic when they were promoted to the premiership.

Awesome to hear that, I always respect people who support "lower" clubs, even though I'm not one of them.
It was nice to see Wigan do so well last year. Normally newcomers to the Premiership get relegated back to the Championship or barely survive. How wonderful it would've been if Wigan had tied Chelsea on that first day!

I tend to like players, not clubs, but I go for Arsenal all the way!!! Dennis Bergkamp is one of my favorite players, actually it was because of him that I started watching Arsenal, and I've been a Gunner ever since! They play attractive football and now have so many young talents, like vPersie, Fabregas, Walcott, and many more! Though at the moment they seem to be having problems with scoring goals but I really hope they will get over it and get back to the top real soon.

Anyway, a huge Liverpool supporter here. I've been supporting them for probably like 5 yrs now, and fanatically as well. I bawled my eyes out when they won the CL, lol. Love the club for all its history and culture. The Kop rules!

Fave player from LFC is Steven Gerrard. (hey, at least its not michael owen, when he had left the club like, 2 yrs ago. he was never my fave player. gerrard is, right from the very beginning.)

Maybe you should start a which football club you dislike the most, and my vote definitely goes to Chelsea. Sick of MOAN-rinho and his big mouth.

I'm elated to see a majority percentage of votes for Manchester United!! Old Trafford still wins the support of many.. amidst all the soccer fever with Euro Cup and EPL, its great to see a poll about english soccers clubs.
I've been supporting ManU ever since i started watching soccer (when becks was in his 20s :D).. But we cant deny they are not getting better over the years huh.... I hope they do well this time in the EPL!!!
Im a supporter of Real Madrid too... coz they have a formidable team of players!
