Dai AiLing

Hi,

I couldn't find anything on Dai AiLing anywhere, so may I post this? Do you know who she is? She's Taiwanese. She's already released two albums. I think she has a really great voice and she reminds me of Amei. She has a strong voice but compared to Amei, hers is less raspy. She's also an aborigine like Amei. I've been trying to find her picture to see what she looks like, but I haven't been able to find a good picture of her. I listen to Taipei Hit FM online and they always play her song "Dui De Ren" (The Right Person) in addition to other songs.

Do you know the title of her song which is a cover of Stacie Orrico's "Stuck"? I saw the MV a while back but totally forgot the name

yeah she does have a nice voice. is she very popular? I first heard of her when she appeared on an episode of Very Tension. She was a guest performer, but I was like "blehh.." because I wanted to watch Tension =P

The Chinese version is titled "Wo Gai De Dao" (loosely translated as "I Should Get") and it's the sixth song in her second album, "Wei Ai Zuo De Sha Shi" ("Foolish Things Done For Love").

I don't know if she's very popular. I don't even have TV or cable or satellite or anything like that! Hehe... I don't even know what she looks like. I just know that they play her songs (not like a lot, but just enough) on the Taiwanese radio station that I listen to online.

Here's something from me~ :wink2: That's the best picture i can find in her 2nd album which shows her quite clearly~ I just like it when you like an artiste just by listening the voice alone~ :happy: Hope you like it~

I like her too~ When i first saw her MV "他是跳蚤"(Ta Shi Tiao Zao)[He's a flea] , her voice just sound so good~ But of course, her looks wasn't her selling factor in that MV, and i have no idea what she looked like at all for quite a long time~ :laughing: (In fact, i think it was her company's strategy to make everyone curious so that they will be interested in her during the release of her first album)

To me, it just seems that she is known for her powerful voice at the moment but her popularity isn't there yet.

Yeah she has a real powerful voice, but she doesn't seem to get much recognition? I remember seeing on mtv that after her 1st album, she had plastic surgery for her nose, and she says that she feels more confident now. Anyway, I think Dui De Ren is a really nice song.

Thanks, catseyes, for the pic! She looks kinda cool. I think the voice goes with the face. Haha... I hope they'd show her face more. I wonder how tall she is. Most of the time those female singers with powerful voices are kinda small in size - quite short, and some even very skinny. Hehe... I wonder where they get the energy...

i love her voice. i think she overdoes the vocals in fast songs but her ballads are really nice. i like "Dui De Ren", "Si Hui Fu Ran", and "Fen Fen Miao Miao"

she wasn't very popular when she released her first album. but after releasing her 2nd album, she has gotten more attention. she was on Fei Yu Qing's show, and some other entertainment shows on channel V & MTV.
