Jay's Wish : holiday, car, girl

A holiday in France or England is what Taiwanese R&B sensation Jay Chou, 24, wished for when he celebrated his birthday on Saturday with fans and collegues.

His other wish : A Ferrari. But he confessed that he couldn't afford one and consoled himself that "any nice car would do", reported Sing Tao Daily News.

And it is not because he was afraid of talk that his rumored girlfriends Jolin Tsai and Vivien Hsu were not invited to the celebration.

"Many people are afraid of rumors, but i am not. If i want to date someone, I will. There is nothing to be fearful about!"

He denied being secretly in love with anyone, and joked that he would be miserable on Valentine's Day.

However he hopes to find a girlfriend once his new album is out.


oh man!!! i would probably be heartbroken if he has a gf....but on the other hand...i'm also happy that he is able to find someone he likes.... but still....Noooo~~!!! :p

Just my humble observations:

1) from wat i read in the articles, he seems to be earning big money. kinda odd that he can't afford a ferrari, yes?

2) from opinions gathered from his fans, he seems like a humble guy (not living in big house, not wearing branded clothes). doesn't it seem that the ferrari will be rather flashy and hence, out of character? :wink:

A ferrari, huh...? Heh, I guess he likes the flashy lifestyle afterall. Thats the beginning, you know. First, its a ferrari. Then, its armani suits. After that comes a huge house. Then comes a gold digger girlfriend all dressed in versace. Then after that is two million dollar vacations on the french rivera sipping wine...

yup! i sure lyk da humble jay....i read about all these other singers in the hk newspapers bou buying expensive flashy cars, i agree dat it wuld b out of character for him...but den again, everybodi lyks luxury sumtimes, rite? i think he makes quite a sum of money but he doesn't spend it much either. i think he leaves it for his mum to handle the $$ stuff..

my mom says that jay should be saving up money for later.. because he's so popular right now.. who knows if tomorrow he won't be? (god knows i'll never stop loving jay!!! but i mean.. the other people, people who like him but aren't hard core fans)


and so that's why she says its smart and it's the right thing hes doing to be saving up money. that, and also because he doesn't like to spend money... and maybe because I think he wants to take his mom and grandma on vacation before he buys things for himself.

Ferraris are expensive but not impossible he is extremely rich.. =T I don't know how I'd feel if he had a girlfriend either haha but he deserves one. I hope people, especially the media, will let him.
