Astro Talent Quest 2006!!

Jus finish watching that show... here is my opinion:
(for those don't know... this tv program is slightly different than Malaysian Idol/ American Idol)

Not sure anyone watch this.. but i i didn't follow this year closely as the previos year. Maybe because many of the contestant got sick in the middle:wacko:
Anyway, Anthony Chang won the show!! Followed by Andrew Tan.

The final is quite spectacular. Many took the opportunity to take photo with Jym Chong in the end... which i think captured many girls heart:bleh: This year, the final is a bit tough in the way they eliminate the finalist.

I like during the commercial, they played spotlights of the past astro talent quest. Saw Nicholas Teo aka Zhang Dong Liang in short hair. Still remember how he became champion and got famous!

Also saw Jay back in (i forgot which year) appear as a special guest,wearing a cap. *brought back memories on how i get to know Jay*

Just wondering what are your comments about this program held all this while....

i enjoyed the entire show last night!!!!
it was great!!!!!

my mum said astro did saved up alot of money by not inviting any superstars like they've done for the past 10 years. HAHA.

i told her nicholas teo also not cheap leh! ;p

despite having fun watching back the old clips and the previous shows,
i think the finalist are great!!!!

i really like andrew and hoped he could win the trophy back
but anthony was real great and it was obvioud that he would win back 2 sony T30double anti blur camera! hahahahaha.

the prizes are so attractive!!!!!!!!

Can't believe they steped on Genting once..haha

I think the special guest performing the michael jackson dance and the COco Lee dance (both were past year contestant) is very 'diao'!!!

Indeed many ppl support for Andrew..were u at Genting last nite andantino??

I so thought Andrew's going to win too. I think he has the whole package. Good look and okay voice.

I asked my sister about the special guest and she was like,'Nicholas only lar. Who else?' I thought he was appearing as one of the ex-participants and not special guest.

andrew has the better potiental to be the next "nicholas teo" hehehehe.

Sadly, I feel that the competitors of the Astro Talent Quest is....somewhat...talentless. But that's just me.

Zhang Dong Liang still rocks though.

i guess im late for the thread...anyway,i make my way here too.hehe

kakaka my whole Family were discussing about Andrew Tan,he definitely look like Andy Hui..i mean sharp nose and when he close his eye singing ,in some angle they look alike.

is kind of sad for the first contestant,i thought she will be out in the later part,never know that she is the first unlucky one.hey i like teir clothes for this year ,now stylish as for the girls..

Overall, i like the way they present the whole contest,lots of guest and the recap of JAY!!(i still remember i was sitting infront of the tv while Eric's year of competition)

I think Nicholas Teo is a major success from this competition.. I like Andrew Tan from this yrs competition.. :) ATQ is cool .. they'd great judges for the competitions.. jay was one of them.. actually it's through this competition i started to like jay.. when i saw him sang and played the piano few yrs back when he performed ..wow, he really amazed me.. very talented ! :)

I supported this for quite long..! Jisushika we are same! I saw Jay on that time too and I started to buy his album!

At first my whole family dont think that Andrew will win because his sound is kinda weird like using his nose sound ( hard to describe but I think if you support Andrew you should knew it ) lol in the end.. HE WIN!
