[Help] On Hosting Music on the Internet

Does anyone know a good website on which to host my music on? Whenever I try, it just makes it available for download, so I can't put it on my website.. Haha sorry if that wasn't clear!:shy:

do you mean like...a website that allows you to upload music for other ppl to download?
in that case, sendspace, yousendit, megaupload, rapidshare are good websites to upload your music to share.

^i think what she means is a URL where she can use that link to put on a blog or something [i.e xanga] and have it as background music. or at least that's what i interpretted her post as =/

they usually offer 50mb of storage but at the moment, it's only 2mb because they're undergoing some changes. but i find that site very useful and reliable, so you should sign up (=

I would recommend http://www.inluminous.net as they allow 2GB space and FTP upload.

But im not sure if they are still taking new users.

thanks for the help guys! i've tried filelodge before (i think) but i think you have to wait for your files to be uploaded onto the server.. i don't know if that made sense but i'm not that good @computer stuff =) but thanks anyways.. &by the way, junnleenfahh interpreted my message correctly =)

i think i know what she means. your saying that u can get the song on to ur page but it only lets the viewers to download right? but u want it to play, sort of like a music player on ur page. if thats the case i can help.
