You guys know what???
I read on the news that CoCo was to hav a concert in China right?
But then she hurt her knee or something and was about to cancel the concert
But did you know how the Chinese people responded???
They said as long as CoCo is still breathing, she has to go....
How mean is that??? :-x
But then you gotta think for them as well...
It's hard to get them to refund all the tickets sold already
But our brave CoCo still managed to have a wonderful concert!

It's mean...but you also have to think in the way from the people in China. It's a lot of work to cancel all the tickets...but why have to worry...You already said she managed to have a wonderful concert :wink2:
(Funny how you call the people in China: "Mean China ppl" :D).

Kinda shows you a little bit of the "red" mentality... "screw you, think for the people!"
You're almost like a service attendant for them. As long as they've paid their hard earned money (and in China, it's hard earned money) you've got to do what the contract says. Doesn't matter who you are or where you're from. Their interests come first!

...Shouldn't they be considerate of themselves too? If Coco has a hurt knee she can't perform as well as if she was 100%.. that's just common sense..

In my opinion most Asian countries does not have a good reliable sys to refund concert tickets as well as issuing them.
Imagine....i went to a concert earlier this year and the company in charge of the concert informed ppl that we can't chose the seats of the tickets we pay for. They are assigned on a first come first serve basis. How bad is that when with ticketmaster.com i can pick the seats i want. :(
However Coco does have a contract agreemeent with them so if she was able to perform in the end, maybe her injury was not that bad?
You have to live in china to understand these things... Money is hard to come by in china... And since artists RARELY come to perform... It's bad if it gets cancelled...

that's why fans hv to go the day before and queue up?
jay asked his fans to bbq at the corner before his concert. hehe. :wink2:

I think, if they wan co co to perform on stage, but at least shld have a words of concern, then tell them that they cannot cancel the performances! I think the attitude is bery important! coz your way of speaking would affect the way ppl look at you!

Hmmm... it's a very hard situation, right?
On one hand, Coco is injured and she couldn't perform her best. Plus, it must be so painful to have a concert with injured knees.
But on the other hand, people who already bought the ticket would be so disappointed. Not to mention the hassle to refund all the money. But It doesn't mean China ppl mean. Think of it from the promotor's standpoint. I think even if Coco performed sitting down for the whole concert, all her fans still feel much more satisfied than to have the concert cancelled.
I hope this never happen to Jay.

hmm..it was rather mean to make her sing and dance though she was injured..but its quite impossible to cancel her concert at the last min right?imagine if we bought tickets to jay's concert and he suddenly cancelled it..bet we would be very disappointed..
maybe they could just postponed the whole thing a lil bit so that she can recover..but i think she lost quite alot of fans after she made her english album..but it was quite successful in usa a long time back isnt it?remembered that her song even made it into a best songs compilation cd..
