i thought it was gna b a realli good movie..but after watching it..i rekon twins couldn't act all that well... :oops: ...!!~
but edison was realli cute in that movie...it was realli sweet when he kissed charlene on the cheek... :love: ..!!~

I thought that it was a total waste of my $7, frankly the acting was atrocious. Did they have to make Edison such a weak vampire? I know its called the Twins Effect, but that's no excuse to make everybody else wallflowers. Gah

i agree... it was full of lazy acting, unnecessary special effects... and it actually had the potential to be something more, something good.. but it was quite disappointing..
or maybe i'm just too old to be watching that sort of film.. :P

Anyways, I thought it was a 5/10. I only liked the martial arts part because Donnie Yen (Zheng Zi Dan) choreographed it.

Edison was such a worthless vampire. omg. He looked good, but that's about it. WORTHLESS!

This movie could have been way better if not for the underdeveloped story line and the concentration of focus on the wrong characters!! The movie should NOT have been about the dumb girls, but the vampire prince! BAH!

It's ok but the props really suck...i thought that with all the hyped up style they have in the movie, the vampire teeth could have been cleaner and cooler...kinda like Blade :bleh:

It just an ordinary movieand have no something special except Edison of course. The first thing i want to watch this movie is because of Edisson. Oh he just so cute. And Ekin either. But I prefer Edisson. And at the end of the movie, they provide behind the scence right? And they got Edison talking in Englisg while others is talking in Chinese. And Twins chinese is so funny. I know that they not used to talk in Mandarin.

ahuh i think the graphics were cool...and edison was VERY cute in it :laughing: *sigh* even my mum said they made edison too weak...shes like...isn't he suppose to be stronger than twins since his the prince?? haha i would have enjoyed it more if edison was stronger. haha it was really funny when edison's finger was smoking and while he was walking ---all the smoke came out :laughing: !!...and and the wine bottle labelled "blood" was very imaginative...i liked that :happy:

i loved twins effect.. Edison.. was so adorable in that show.. and i agree with polaris the idea of wine bottles labelled as blood was creative.. and the idea of edison smoking in the sun was a total crack up.... but yeh i think some of the effects was cool although some was juss totally crappy.. but in general i loved that movie...

i only attracted to this film because:
1. my friend told mo that twins are so cute in this film but i don't think so...i think they are very silly in that film...
2. Ekin Cheng but in that film he's not so adorable unlike his other movies...
3. Edison yes he's a prince of vampire he's weak!! :laughing: never seen a vampire so worthless...he even needed those silly girls to help him!!

i thought the movie was okay, very good compare to other hk movies but so-so compared to u.s. movies. but i still think it shoulda be a tv series than a smush everything into a movie thing. cuz there's some pointless scenes espically the fighting iver the stuff bear. :dry: :wink2:

Twins Effect i thought was really good!! i expected it to be bad like other recent hk movies but they really surprised me on how good it was!^^

well for me... i thought Twins were so cute and pretty in it, Edison (even tho i hate him) was pretty good too and looking very hot, and Ekin looked so old in it T _ T

and the ending made me cry so much^^ lol

I think the Twin Effects was pretty good. I omli wanted to see this movie cuz Edison was in it. I am not a fan of twins. I think Edison looked mah nice but he coulda been more powerful but no the producer made him look weak. Ugh~~ Overall i liked it.

I watched it only beacause of edison.. Even screamed when he came on screen :bleh: Its a show with a useless plot.. But i bought the vcd and re-watched a few times.. Was focusing on edi and not the others.. But edison's role of the vampire make me look so gay, weak etc.. I thought it was a good movie but I didn't really like how it was heavily filled with computer graphics. I thought some part were kinda funny like when that guy cut off his finger nail, and when Charlene bit Edison in the neck, lol. I don't like the ending, it was gay how they just let Edison lie on the ground helpless. He should've did had a bigger part in the end like fighting against the Duke or something.

I heard that there was a Twins Effects 2 coming out, but it has nothing to do with vampires which just seems gay because the first one focuses all around vamps. I also heard that the Twins are the only ones from the original cast that's going to be in it. No Edison TT_TT

Well...I watched Twins Effect coz Edison was in it. Period. The movie was ok lah. Not good actually (my opinion). A vampire is suppose to be stronger than humans and all that...but to see Edison- the vampire...was totally weak. He just lie there, helpless. I like the fighting scenes alot.

This movie was one of the crappiest..... er.... thing that I ever saw (no offense to those who loved it, truly ~_^), but man..... I thought by watching this movie, just maybe their acting could persuade me to grow and "like" the Twins and not hate them cause of their music (don't get me started on this subject by the way).

but no, turns out my first instincts about the Twins were right and that I should avoid them like the plague. Why must Edison (my poor baby) be so dumb and weak in this movie and the other characters??? Especially Ekin??? Sure, a lot of big shots in this movie but it didn't do anything to help boost the plot or "creativity" of the movie.

Save your money unless you enjoy watching stiff necks trying to act and two talentless chick prance around......

Twins Efect I is obviously better than Twins Effect II. TE II was kinda boring and I dun really like that movie. Edison did not have much scene acted in TE II. I thought it is the continuation of TE I and it turned out to be a total different story. :shy:

lol, i finally watched Twins Effect 2, geez is soooo different from the first one, where's the vampires, arg.
anyway i actually liked it, seem alright, not bad for a hk movie. it seem like it got a lotr theme to it, like on a quest -good conquer evil. :whistle: hmm.. the actin seem alright, first time seeing jackiechan's son in it. though still not sure if jaycee's acting is good or not.....but anyway seem more fightin scenes... arg why do they always gotta fight without talkin..lol. like that one part when that guy was fighting another guy that came alive from the statue, where that's when i was kinda complain " why do they always fight before any talkin like askin "who are you?"etc, "oh wait is jackie chan". lol. i didnt know jackie chan was in the movie until that part.lol.
so yea overall, the movie was okay, still some parts seem like unanswered.... :worry:

Twins Effect II had a diffrent story. i din like it. Edison had juzza small role in it. Twins r still bad in acting. TE II was a waste of my money...bad movie. first one was much better.

I saw only the fighting scenes of Twins Effect I, and basically the whole thing of Twins Effect II.

I didn't reallly like it at all. Twins really can't act...I agree, Edison did seem like a weak vampire in TEI...and it was weird how Ekin died? I thought he was a main character. :wacko: TEII was just...very boring. There was more fighting, but then some fighting scenes just didn't quite make sense and they dragged on for too long. I'm also biased cause I don't like Jackie Chan's son.

So yeah, I pretty much liked neither Twins Effects :dry:

my dad spent $3.99 and rent it at Blockbuster. Smart move b/c I don't think it was great even though many people in HK liked it... People in HK liked it probably b/c they are Twins' fans. Personally, I think Twins can neither sing nor act (at least in this movie). I liked Edison and Ekin in the movie. The end was horrid though... it was like one of the laziest ending ever (meaning the screen writers ran out of ideas and decided to kill Ekin to end the movie). So I didn't bother watching the Twins Effect II, probably not worth the money.
