NOW that protege Jay Chou's two concerts here were such a roaring success, Jacky Wu (left) has announced his Singapore concert plans in April.

And guess who his guest star will be?


None other than the money-spinning Jay Chou (left), of course.

During an appearance on the Azio infotainment show, Jacky told Azio host Matilda Tao that his concert will feature a David Copperfield-esque magic bonanza and plenty of visual effects.

Jacky - who will be performing on April 19 - seemed confident that ticket sales will do well.

He even hinted at the possibility of a second night.

No doubt milking the appeal of his guest star for all he's worth.

During last yr Jay's concert at SG when Jacky is his special guest... I quite enjoyed the part when Jacky joked with him.... I dun know most of his songs, so most likely won't attend but though will be regretted if miss a chance to c Jay on stage :unsure: ...

hi purple, i enjoyed the part when Jacky appeared to sing one of jay's composition for him (now which song was it?? was it Ni Bi Cong Qian Kuai Le?)
oh i remember he sang one of his own hits, Shi Bu Shi Zhe Yang De Ye Wan Ni Cai Hui Zhe Yang Xiang Qi Wo (loose transln: will u only think of me on such nites). It's a great song :D

Singaporeans, You realise that Jay concentrates more whenever he sings in Singapore?

I somehow do, from lookin' at all the videos that I have in my comp. The experssion that he has when singing in Singapore compares to other countries is some what different. He looks more concentrated.

yeah i have exactly the same wishes...cos it's always the taiwan concerts tt get compiled into a cd i hope he has a s'pore version...specially for asia fans maybe hahax...

i think he looks more concentrated when singing slow songs...u know...more emotions and stuff...he seems more high in taiwan concerts...prancing around n such...

Ok, now I know Hee***s, but where else? When did he go there? During his Fantasy concert? Or a promotional tour? When did they report on this? Sigh... I was away from Singapore for a whole year so I missed out on such info, can someone update me?

Anyway, my sis said she's not gonna pay to watch Jacky Wu for 2hrs and Jay for only 5mins... so I guess I won't be going... :realsad:

I think it's pretty confirmed that jay's coming for jacky wu's concert, ive seen it at several chinese websites, including the one greenskies mentioned, jaycn, etc. plus jay will be in malaysia holding his concert the week before jacky's concert, so it kinda makes sense that he's heading down to singapore after that to support jacky..

i think it is pretty confirmed tt jay is cuming. my fren said tt Straits Times reported tt ard tt time, jay will be performing in Bali (or some island ard the region) so jay will stop over in SG to be his teacher's guest. however i dun think i will be gg too cos i am oso nt willing to spend so much to watch a bit of jay, might as well save the money and go MY for his concert, sum more tt jacky wu's concert is during my exam period too...

Really really don't know whether Jay is confirmed to be coming or not. The local papers have said that sources said there is a high possiblity. The SISTIC(ticketing agent) website write up on Jacky's concert only stated quests as Kang Kang, Nono and Ho Yeow Sun. But the last line is a bit fishy... and perhaps surprise performances by other guests artistes.

Well, if he really is coming, I probably won't be going unless I am not going for the S.H.E. concert. Just for 5 mins of Jay... I really wouldn't mind but I haven't seen S.H.E. in full length concert b4. Too bad it has to clash with Jacky's. I'll probably go to the airport if Jay really is coming. :D

I think it's purposely left ambiguous so people who like Jay won't flock to the concert just for him & Jacky Wu then having to end up with a buncha young screaming Jay fans.
On the other hand, such speculations may boost ticket sales for Jacky Wu precisely because Jay fans may swipe up some of the tics...
The possibilities of him coming are high though... if he's really in SEA he may just come...
