I've always been a huge fan of Rurouni Kenshin (Go Aoshi-sama!! ^^) and I've bought all the movies, the entire episode set, and I've almost completed the manga set... however, I've noticed, Nobuhiro Watsuki (creator of RuroKen) keeps saying that he will create the anime for the Jinchuu Arc (the part where Kenshin's past is revealed and he meets Tomoe and Enishi again)...

I've been waiting for almost 2 years already, but nothing has happened. Where has RuroKen gone?! Plus, I've been waiting so badly for them to produce a Rurouni Kenshin game WORLDWIDE instead of only in Japan.

Shinsengumi Gun-rou Den is only available in Japan and it's quite old already. So when are they going to create another, using today's top-notch technology?

Nobuhiro Watsuki, I have one question to ask you: WHYYYYYYYYYYY?????!!!! O_O

Hm. I don't care.

The Kenshin OAV was the only thing decent. As soon as he gave up killing - he became as weak and stupid as Vash (Trigun). It's terrible garbage - only one step up from Dragon Ball Z.

So I ask you... why would I care if he created another season?

THERE ISNT ONE!

Sorry, one of the only anime series I dislike. And I felt compelled to write something. Muahz

maybe you should keep on hoping. :D just don't place too much hope.

Anyone read slam dunk here? Remember when Takehiko Inoue said that he will make Slam Dunk 2? In the end he said there won't be any Slam Dunk 2.

I think there isn't anymore story to tell so they had to end the series. I also wish they would have more esps and all, but in the movie he acually died but in the manga he lives. Rurouni Kenshin is not popular enough to get its own video game right now in the US. Say for like Naruto that is something popular that is why a game is coming out of it really soon in US and Japan. Rurouni Kenshin was one of the watched showed a long time ago and I don't really think they can have a come back with more eps, but you never know they might try to drag the show along some other years. I really though that Rurouni Kenshin lived happily every after at the end so they can't do anything about it. So thats what happened to the show and manga. Hope it helped.

Er..... didn't you know about the 2-disc Reflection DVD box set?

The first one is about his past, where he was saved by Hiko Seijurou and was trained into becoming "Kenshin". Afterwards he left to Kyoto and became the Hitokiri Battousai, where he met Tomoe, married her and it goes all the way until Tomoe's death.

The second one is a recollection of the entire Kenshin episodes from the beginning until the end, but with DRASTIC CHANGES everywhere from the original version. Here the connection and love between Kenshin and Kaoru is more emphasized, and given more attention. And there is also the fight between Kenshin and Yukishiro Enishi in the end. This is the story where Kenshin and Kaoru died with tubercolosis in the end.

???!!!
Actually that's really news to me!! Never knew Kenshin died in the anime...
I watched a few of them. Somehow it just didn't convey the same feel as the manga so I stopped watching it. I have the full manga set though. In Malay:bleh:

Er, no, this is different from the 80-something episodes TV anime series, this is a separate anime movie, an OVA (Original Video Animation) for all the anime geeks who understand all these terms and stuff...

If you are interested here are some reviews and synopsis on Reflection:

Really really sad, I must tell you... I shed my tears a lot of time when I was watching this...

Watsuki-sama must have had this storyline in the back of his head for a long time.
The restraints of a manga series must have held this arc back. Which producer would want your main charcter to die???
Seems like this is a thinking man's anime. I think I'll go and buy this one. Thanks BlueChaos...
