北京將於十一月十五日晚舉行反盜版音樂會，據知北京方面對這個音樂會相當低調，竟然只邀請 Sony 一間唱片公司歌手出席，Sony 亦派出香港、大陸、台灣和日本旗下巨星，合共十四個單位全面力撐，只是除了盧巧音（Candy）以及即將約 滿的黎明冇份之外，幾乎出動四地總動員巨星演出。
An anti-piracy concert is being held in Beijing on November 15th. According to organizers in Beijing, this concert will be fairly low-key. They’re only inviting artists from one record company – Sony. And Sony will be sending off its big stars from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and Japan to attend. In total, there are 14 (Sony) sites who are fully supporting this concert. With the only exceptions of Candy Lo, and Leon Lai, whose contract with Sony is close to termination, practically all the big stars from the four places will be “dispatched” to perform at the concert.

當晚演出的歌手包括：香港的王菲、莫文蔚、王力宏；台灣的 F4、阿杜，周杰倫更與緋聞女友蔡依林一齊出席；大陸方面則有紅星陸毅；日本則有中島美嘉及勁 Hit 二人組合 CHEMISTRY 等。據知當晚所有演出歌手之名單全是由北京政府提議，而在所列出之名單中，黎明亦榜上有名，卻惟獨欠盧巧音 之名字，據知 Candy 榜上無名原因是因為 Candy 在北京仍未有知名度，未為北京樂迷及當地政府認識。
That evening, the artists who will be performing include: Hong Kong’s Faye Wong, Karen Mok, Leehom Wang; Taiwan’s F4, A-Du, Jay Chou along with rumoured girlfriend, Jolin Tsai, will be attending together; for China, there’s the popular star, Lu Yi; for Japan, there will be Mika Nakashima and the super hit duo CHEMISTRY, etc. Sources indicate that the list of names of all the performing artists that evening was suggested by the Beijing government. And on the list, Leon Lai’s name was also amo
ngst the names of the artists being invited. Only Candy Lo’s name was left out. Supposedly, this was due to the fact that Candy is not well-known in Beijing yet. Hence, she’s not really recognized by Beijing fans and the local government.

黎明有份被邀演出，卻仍缺席音樂會，更惹人猜疑黎明如有報道所指他將離開 Sony 轉去東方魅力唱片部做弗人有關，Sony 總經理王凱文作出澄清：「到呢一刻為止，黎明仲未話唔續約，北京的確係有邀請黎明演出，但因為黎明一早已經 係冇檔期所以至唔可以出席。」
Even though Leon was invited, he is going to be absent from the concert. This led to people suspecting that this may have something to do with the recent news regarding his plans to leave Sony and switch over to Dong Fang Mei Li record company to be a top guy there. Sony executive manager, Wong Hoi Man, made a clarification on the matter, “Up to this point, Leon has not stated that he will not renew the contract. It is true that Beijing invited Leon to perform. However, Leon cannot attend because he already had his schedule filled up early on and there was no available time for this concert.”
