Eight more stars for MTV awards show
ROBBIE WILLIAMS is the latest star slated to appear in next Friday's MTV Asia Awards 2003.
The bad boy of British pop is on a list of eight additional performers announced by MTV Networks Asia yesterday, joining 24 other regional and international acts.
The new names include American alt-rockers Matchbox Twenty, Taiwan's R&B singer Jay Chou, sultry Indonesian singer Anggun and Malaysia's teen queen Siti Nurhaliza.
Singapore's Stefanie Sun also confirmed her participation during a Life! interview on Wednesday.
Hosted by reggae popster Shaggy and Los Angeles-based R&B diva CoCo Lee, the event will be staged at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The inaugural ceremony also took place at the same venue, on Feb 2 last year.
Celebrities flying in next week include British trio Atomic Kitten, Canadian skate-rock chick Avril Lavigne, British alt-rockers Suede, American rapper Missy Elliot as well as R&B heavyweight David Tao and boyband F4, both from Taiwan.
To win passes to MTV Asia Awards 2003, visit the road show at the Heeren tomorrow and on Sunday from 2 - 3 pm.
