ANYONE EVER FEEL YOU'VE HAVE ENOUGH WITH JAY (BORED)
anyone ever feel like that? if no1 feel that, maybe i'm so stupid. u know,i feel it few days ago.
but now, no anymore. i fall in love again with Jay in with d deeper way. (n i think i'm really fall
in love with him, not only as a fans to her idol) something make me like that. i wanna thanks to god
to give me back my love. ^^ HE make a very2 good plan for me. :)
but now, i'm not going to discuss it with u all. i just wanna u all can tell me what would u do if
u in the same position with me (feel bore with Jay).
would u leave him for a moment, or u will force 'JAY' to urself. which1 u'll choose, or maybe u have
feel this b4? i just wanna know, n maybe it useful for me n others (if someone feel the same in future)
my answer is i leave him for a moment. n it work. as i said b4, god has make a good plan for me in his way. ^^ HE let me bored in a moment, n then HE make me fall in love again. n i feel my love to Jay now is more nature. not like the past, i just know how to admire him, but now, i know how he has inspire me n my life, how he make my world cheerful, etc. n now i have my own reason to love him in logical way n naturally.
NOW, tell me ur opinion or maybe u have any suggestionS????

ya, sometimes when theres no news abt him, I DO feel bored with him. But then I always keep myself in love with him by surfing our forum, or look out for his mag and his news! And when I see his pics, I'll be, "Oh, how handsome Jay is!" :love: So I dun usually often feel bored abt him!

no really...out of all his music..there is something for all my moods ^^ haha Jian Dan Ai or Ye Ye Pao De Cha when im happy, An Jing or Last Battle when im sad...and then stuff like Kai Bu Liao Ko and Ni Ting De Dao for all other times ^^ haha...

I dont think i will ever become sick of his songs...and if i do...it will probalby only be a temporary thing =P

i wouldn't say bored but i would say sometimes too much of something is not too good. but one thing abt jay's music, after a while you havent listen to it, then out of a sudden when you are walking in the mall you hear one of his songs, it seem more to get more and more nicer.

I have to say that Jay never leaves my ears.
If my ears are hurting from the bass and incredibly loud volume level booming from the earphones (some earphones are really uncomfortable ! ), then I just pop in a VCD of Jay !
Watching him play around and singing in his MVs is cool too !!
I definantly cant go a day without listening to Jay !

Actually, Jay is the only artist i can remember that i've been so obsessed and in love with for this long. And honestly, though i still love him like no other artist, respect and admire him, it's inevitable that it gets a little dull after awhile. My little confession, was that i did almost slipped to admitting i was getting a little bored, but Ye Hui mei helped boost it all the way back top. It's common for some fans to drop out, but even if one day i stop being this obsessed with Jay, i know that i won't regret ever liking him, because i had every reason to. I love Jay, his musical abilities and talents, but not only that...i respect him because of him, as the person he is, or from as much as we can see.

So maybe our love for him will waver, and if you decide you don't like him anymore, then by all means, don't, there is nothing keeping you here or blocking your exit, but i earnestly hope that i can like him for as long as i can, because he deserves it.

i know when i see or hear too much of jay, i can get a bit numb, like i no longer feel the effects of his songs, but if i stay away for awhile and i come back again, i'll feel his magic all over again, probably cos i have a short memory.
i guess like jay himself said, even good songs get boring after awhile, so it's inevitable that we would feel this way. it's really very incredible that we can listen so much of jay without getting bored much earlier, so i think jay has nothing to worry about.

i got a little bored while i was waiting for his fourth cd to come out. i really love his old stuff and still listen to it a lot, but if i overdo it, i get a little sick of it. too much of a good thing is definitely not goood. but i understand that he needs to keep up the standard he's set for himself as an artist...so i just try to patient!

I think it's just natural that people will get sick of listening to the same songs. But the point is that after you stop listening to him for awhile, you go back and play his music a few weeks later. I don't think the point is that you get sick of his music, but that you can always go back and listen and love it again.

How many artists do you, after you stop listening to them for a few months, never go back and play their CD ever again?

as for me: B.A.D., Alex To, F4, Tao Zi, Smap.

Jay is the only artist that I can always go back and play his CDs on repeat, even 4 years after the CDs come out.

I'm gald to say that i haven't got bored with Jay yet...thank God :excited: I dont really get to listen to his songs on the radio becoz i seldom listen to Chinese stations and the English stations which I tune in to don't really play Jay's songs.And then the TV stations here are not always showing Jay's MVs...only ONCE IN A BLUE MOON!! :dry: All these things make me appreciate Jay's music more and more and not making me getting bored with him.I'll always be really excited whenever Jay is on the tv :excited: Bored??Not yet!!I want him more and more now!!*hehe* :laughing:

In all Jay's album, featuring different genre of music. Who will get sick/bored of his music? You can choose from hip hop, r&b, rock, slow rap, pop and etc all in one artist. :laughing: And he is always so interesting in each of his MVs, those interview with Tao Zi and not forgetting Jay in Jacky Wu's shows. Jay is cute, now who could refute? :yeah:

i can safely say that i havent gotten tired of jay or anything yet...nor will i ever in the near or distant future...that is probably on account of i dont get enough of him to get tired of him in the first place. coz not a lot of chinese artists have penetrated my country yet...actually...its just f4...and their everywhere here now...i really wish other asian artists could be introduced to my people so that asian music lovers like me could be highly benefited...

i totally agree with what chun li said.. my friends and family wonder how i can not be bored from playing his music again and again.. the truth is i'm not just playing it cos i'm his fan.. but it's cos i truly enjoy it.. it never fails to bore me.. once in a while i listen to other stuff like yanzi or the radio but i always end up listening to jay again after a while.. i'm really really amazed that jay's music has such a power over me.. his music is really so different from the rest.. ( ok i shan't carry on.. it's the usual gushing about jay's music)

I've ripped all Jay's CD in my com so that I can have quick access to them... I just turn on my com amd viola! I click on the song I'd like to hear... depending on my mood... there seems to be enough songs to go around for different moods... :laughing:

I won't say I listen to Jay day and night... :? but like what a few people mentioned... Jay is one of the very few artistes whose work I'd still pick up from time to time... others just collect dust on my CD rack... I mean... I am still in love with Jian dan Ai... even after so long... I still sing it to my dog...

I just I thrive on mixtures... I just mix which ever tunes I miss and burn it to a cd... (well, I get sick of the combi in originals...) so depending on the preference... I just take and pick....

My friends think I am nuttos... well... perhaps I am... :love:

usually no. but you have to admit. after repeating jay's ye hui mei album for like 10 times, you have to get bored! i really do repeat the album over and over again, setting it at random play. after like many repeats, yeah i do get bored. but if you're talking about reading about him, watching him on tv, no! the more the better!!!! i wish the local media had more of him!!! :laughing:

hmmm...i'm quite a new fan actually, so i think this does not apply to me. but sometimes when i get anxious whenever i listen to his songs (because i really do want to see him perform his songs live and i wouldn't be able to unless i go to taiwan, or SG, or HK, or China...but i don't have the money to do so), that's when i pause. But always, i find myself returning...

don't get me wrong, i love his music and it still plays in the background a lot of times when i'm driving, doing homework (yer, like i actually do that)...etc...but i'm tired of talking about Jay's lovelife, or his personal life...to me...he's just a great musician, someone to look up to but definitely not someone that i'd want to stalk and obsess over. again, i'm a guy, so i don't understand how it works for you girls.

it is intriguing though...once in a while...to find out something interesting about him that i've never known before...just not..."he's not wearing his underwear again"

well, i dont think it matters much whether its a guy fan or a girl fan, fans are fans who just love his music, as for me, ive been listening to jay's songs since his fantasy album was launched, so thats not considered the first batch of fans i guess, but after i got into his music, i just never get bored of it, i know that too much of anything will definitely make someone get sick, but i dont know why, i can listen to his music again and again and just dont get bored, i mean, the most i leave his music a day, not more than that and i'll hav to on the player again, infact, i m quite curious when i'll ever get bored, i try to determine the duration by replaying his songs again n again, and see when i get bored, this is like a test, testing myself how much of his music i can take.........but what surprises me is that, NO, i just dont get bored, i think this is quite crazy too.

I think I will never get bored of Jay cause when I like a singer or a band or anyone, I don't just like them at the first sight. I will try to get to know that singer and his or her work and soon the like feeling will come slowly and slowly day by day. So when I like someone, I will like that person for a long time.
Though that singer don't have new album or work , I don't just hate or get bored cause if I miss them, I will just put their tape or CD in the stereo and listen to it. I have been a fan of the Corrs since their first album, now now I can say that I still like them and this is the same for Jay.

I still play his songs everyday, on the discman when I'm going home from school, on the radio before I sleep.

well...actually you're right. who doesnt feel tired of s/o after being crazy over him 101%. sometimes i feel like i'm a total idiot when i think bout how much i've spent buying on his stuff, going online finding info bout him and all..it's like when the passion dies for a while..

BUT, i'll fall in love with him all over again after a while! what i would suggest is to cool it for a while, then go back to loving him. hope that works. =] i totally agree with u, i do that too, but for some reason, u know when jay gives u a feeling, and it changes as u get to know him more? i get flashes of them from now and then which gives me a boost and i'd fall for him again! when i listen to his music, i want to hear it coz its so good but then i no wot comes next and the words so i do get bored, but i guess its true, listening to his music 24/7 maybe does get tiring, but he has so much range and songs the chances of getting bored are slimer!

Well... i may feel alittle so call 'bore' with Jay when i'm in a very deep deep bad mood while listening to his song. But, after looking at his album...picture...i sometimes blame myself for doing that :cry: . I'll scold myself for doing that :-x . I never get enough of jay :wacko: because i totally addicted in knowing evrything about him as whenever i have access to a computer ive got to log in on j-c.net so i keep up to date with news on him and other things.

music wise, i listen to his songs like every day even at school to help me concentrate but easily distracted when im singing along to it and not doing any school work....im sooo behind in my work hehe but its a good distraction though :laughing:

jay's songs are like magic...!! it can really make u addicted to it.. and i mean ADDICTED!!! really really addicted!! i don't know how to describe it..u can never have enough of it!! like in the beginning when i listen to jay's music...when u listen to it a lot it seems like it's getting boring...but then after a while u get all hyped up again...and it's only getting better and better...i've never felt this way for other singers before...i usually get bored at the song no matter how good it is...well there are EXCEPTIONS...but a lot of jay's songs are exceptions..!! all jay's songs are cool but there are a few songs that u don't like repeating and there are some that u will repeat forever...and the more i listen to the others that i don't like as much the more it becomes music to my ears!! and now there are only a few that i don't really like...it's weird..cuz not many songs can make me from not liking to hella like it! jay's songs are so powerful and magical!!

I don't actually get bored of him. I just can't wait for his new songs and albums to come out. Can't wait to see what new songs he mesmerizes us with..Sometimes I'm afraid to play his songs too many times, scared I'll get sick of it...but after awhile, i'll play them anyway...It's like my energy-booster.

Me??? No way! I used to listen to his songs like everyday then one fine day I stop coz I was afraid I well...will get bored by it. But once I played it again, manz...its like u just have to play it over and over again. That's how great his songs are. And when my fren's called me, I can't concentrate on what they are saying coz I'll b busy listening to his songs and maybe sing a lil of it. :laughing: It's addictive in a good way. Haha, you wont get killed. It's just human nature that once in contact for a thing for a long time, one will get bored. I mean, pple needs fresh things all the time, why do you think in the music industry, different styles have come and go? And we say those music in the early years are outdated? Yea! You are just bored of his songs. But taking his songs out once in a while definitely do not get me bored! :happy:

For many years i've been only listening to jay's songs. My friends told me that was not good. i was not open-minded with other kinds of music :? . But just 2 months ago i stopped listening to his music because i was getting kind of boring :worry: and i didn't want to force myself to listen to his songs. Instead, i started to listen songs from F4 and Vic Zhou, then i tried to change to Avril Lavigne. I still like her songs ^^. However, recently i've started to listen to jay's music again :yeah: . And i still like them!!! I think that if you don't feel the same happiness or excitement when you listen to his songs you should leave them for a while until you'll realize you desperately miss his music! :tongue:

yes, it is only normal that people get sick of hearing the same songs over and over again...but im not normal! :) If i ever felt even the slightest twinge of boredom with jay then all i have to is put on one of his songs (anyone will do) or watch his mvs and i'll fall back in love again. how could u ever get bored of this guy? he's just so perfect!!! :wink2: from eye-candy to ear-candy! :excited:

actually, surprisingly for me.....NO.

i think this forum has actually helped me to stay...... hmmm....."loyal" and "true" to jay. so as long as i'm here and get to access his news in english, new pics, and just talk about him and drool over him, in general with everybody else, then i won't get bored or sick of him, and my enthusiasm for him won't falter as much, as compared to if i had never found this forum.

i've been crazy over other artists and actors before, but due to the fact that i'm not exposed to their news and the going-ons in their life, i tend to lose interest after awhile, coz it's hard to continually support someone if you never hear anything about them.

Sometimes, it bothers me...my Jayness. but then most of the time, Jay's music just makes me happy, I just can't stop listening. And always, he makes new interesting materials so the craving doesn't stop dead end.

Actually, the reason that my Jayness hasn't stop and end at just musical appreciation is that when compared to other artist, Jay is one artist that is best to admire, very filial, appreciates other talent, very creative, always has something new to offer, humble, plus he doesn't get involve with much girls in the news. :wink2: he's just someone you can really look up to. If you know what I mean.

So definitely, with his creativity + this forum. Jielun and boredom will never be used in the same sentence for me. :)

I have not felt that I've had enough of Jay but I mellowed out compared to before. When I first got to know Jay, I was a fanatic! I tried to get my hands on any piece of information or music about him. It went on for months. Now, I still like him very much but I've been less obssessed. I only get excited again when I read news or see pictures of him. In short, I'm more controlled now. :angel:

I've been listening to his songs for like couple weeks straight! I mean it's in my car (I play it loud w/ no shame) and I play it at home...if they let me listen to music at work I'd also be Jay!

They other day though I gave my Jay mix CD to my sister cause she wanted to listen to it and when I was driving home listening to the radio I realized how much crap was played now days and that I was feeling Jay-withdrawal! So when I got home I made a new CD and now things are much better! :D

haha, no way! jay's songs has accompanied me since i've started university. in fact, each semester for me has a particular jay album released, and me and my mates actually started recalling our semesters by jay's albums names. eg: "hey, the time we crashed the car was during the '8th dimensions' semester, right?" u see, each song plays a specific emotion in me.

in fact, even if i were to listen to his latest labum 24/7 for a month or so, i just pop in his first album and start the cycle all over again. by chance, when i reach his hidden track ep, his new album might have just been released :)

Actaully, Jay incorportate so many different type of instruments and genres and beat to his songs that I can find whichever one to fit my mood. Sure, I'll eventaully grow tired of the song, but later in a couple of days or even weeks when i come back, Jay will always be on for me.

I just like to think of Jay's songs as cheese to my macaronni&cheese or the "boom boom" sound to the drums or even the gas to a car... yes, I live without Jay temporarily but not forever... hence I would never ever be bored with Jay.

i dun think i'll ever get bored of him.... its like there's that smthing in his songs and himself that i will always be amaze of....there's alot to explore in his songs....everytime i listen, there'll be a new thing i realize about....the rhytmn...then tune....it nv gets bored.....and of course his voice....his style.....its very different and unique....
for other artists, its either their changing looks or their changing style of songs that makes me dislike them....but for jay....he has his own sense of fashion and looks...and of course his music is always that brilliant....

hmmm. i'm currently very sick of qi li xiang. i've listened to the album way too much so i'm kinda sick of the songs except for yuan you hui and ge qian. haha. there was once when i listened to jian dan ai like what, 40 times a day for a week straight because i had to do an arrangement on that song and i also had to sing the song. that was scary. yeaa. and i'm currently more in love with nan quan mama than jay. heh. i guess we can't help it la. too much of anything can be really, really boring.

Actually, Jay's the only artiste I ever listened to...like everyday. Normally, no matter how much I like another singer's song, I'll eventually get sick to it due to overplaying. But then...a new song comes out, and I'll get obssessed with dat song..until one day, I accidently heard a song i used to like, I'll fall in love wit it again. I tink it's sumthing like havin a relationship (like Jay said b4), if we see our boyfriend everyday, we'll eventually get bored of him but if we like can't see him often and we want to, we just love him more. Something like the quote : Absence makes the heart fonder. I hope I never get sick of Jay because wat will I listen to everyday then? and all my money spent on Jay will be wasted if I don't like him anymore. As long as he keep producing music and more MVs, I tink I'll be in love wif him for a looong time.

Nope, not for me at least because he's alwayd back with new fresh stuffs that never fails to suprise us! He's got the talent and X-factor which attracted us to him like bees to a pot of honey though we know he's not that good looking honestly.

Listening to his music is similar to reading Jay like a book. Inside his music has emotions and thoughts of himself. Listening to his music soothed me, especially when i'm feeling upset, depressed or angry. I don't know why but his voice seems to do wonders!

Just keeping my life interesting and unique, with lots of variety in between, rather than sticking to one artist. i play his music all the time.. on my mp3, in office, at home.. there's no place without his music..

but occasionally, i will feel like listening to songs other than Jay's. It does happen to me before. When i have this kind of feeling, i will change the songs on my computer playlist for the rest of the day. Ya, so its like i do feel like i got enough of his songs for that particular moment.

but when the next day comes, i will start wondering how come i haven't heard his songs for like ages so i will put Jay back onto my playlist again and i'll listen to his songs again and again.

Miss him more after that and appreciates his music to a greater depth, no doubt.

But its understandable because Jay isn't doing much right now in terms of promoting stuff and functions...he's working on his new album right? So when his new album comes out, I'm sure that I'll be all excited about him again. Right now, I'm more excited with Lee Hom because he's doing a lot of promoting with his new album and stuff. But I still listen to Jay's songs on my computer, in my car...iono, plus there hasn't been much news about him besides the same articles about the "Chou/Hou relationship" and how Jolin is so sad and depressed. THAT really gets boring...lol...but yep, I'm just a little bored with Jay right now but when he starts doing more stuff, it should be better. I have to say, Jay was the first artist I was ever "obsessed" with as such...hahaha actualli when i first listened to his songs, i loved his music, then after a while...i lost interest coz i was onli listening to fantasy and eight dimensions...coz my boyfriend (at the time) introduced me to his music...and yeah...i wasn't in to HIM...and my friend who i introduced his music to, she kept telling me how hot he was...but hahaha i didn't feel that way so i got into JPop, ayu and laruku's old old music...and i was kinda obsessed with them...but i lost interest again...and one day, i decided to go back to dear dear Jay...and then i found this webbie...ever since...i've been soooo devoted to jay...haha my mum thinks it's becoming unhealthy....jay in my room, jay on my desktop, jay in my diary, jay on my phone...

Anyway, I guess I came back to dear jay because through this website, i was able to connect wif him as a PERSON...like, it makes his music sound EVEN BETTER now that i know a bit more abt him...what he likes/doesn't like etc etc...

oh yeah...haha forgot to say that one thing that triggered me going back to Jay was when Black Humour was playing in Bread Top...sounds realli sad, but to me, it was very touching...because i could relate to it then...i realised that a lot of what he sings and expresses through music, i can relate to...like i've experienced something similar or my friends have...

another thing le, I could NEVER get sick of Ni Ting de Dao...Stranded...Gui Ji...Duan le de xuan...and the list goes on....hahahahahaha the melodies are just so...hmm...they like....capture ur heart...so touching...and so....sincere i guess...hahaha so hard to describe his music...

i wont get bored of him because his music, style, diaoness and talents keep on producing. there is always a new unique style of him, always the original.
and also his new album is going to be out in a few months time!

Well, I do get a bit bored by all the reports on him at times. It is just too much some times. And I think it is due to the fabricated news that all kind of newspapers published. But I’m definitely is not bored by his music. And I have high hopes for his new album.

There was a week where I wasn't as obsessed, and I didnt listen to his music for a few days, I think I was a bit into Bi and Shinhwa at that time, haha. But Jay is still my fav. singer, his songs are still my fav. =]

Yeah, when I'm obsessed about another celebrity (for instance, Edison Chen :laughing: ) but I get back to being a dedicated fan of his. I wouldn't stop being a fan of his... unless something happens, but he's the first Chinese artist i've actually ever liked. He's so nice and down to earth too. Definitely not like any other Chinese artists. ^_^

I keep my feelings under control. I don't like him as much as those days. those day I will download videos of him and watch it as soon as I reach home. But thesedays, I just store those videos in my computer and thats it. I don't watch them.

There was a while after the release of November's Chopin when I wasn't as interested in Jay as I was. I guess it was because I was more into other singers like Rainie Yang and Se7en. But then the Huo Yuan Chia EP came out and I became obsessed over again. Going through all the MVs made me realise how much I missed Jay :happy:

ONCE. It was January this year. I didn't like his November Chopin album as much and I got sick of his old songs. Plus, there wasn't much news about him, I think. But now, all my love to Jay is back. :-)

For me, the obsession and craze has stopped, though that doesn't mean I stopped liking his music. I used to be a total fangirl, the works, download all those videos, look at all the photos and read every single scrap of news. For now, it's more of really his music I guess. I still support his music and him generally, because I believe that he really is a good and very very talented composer and musician and he really has so much potential. A Jay song is so recognisable (at least to me?) that I can recognise it even if I could barely hear it, because the beats and rhythm to the song is so Jay, haha. I can recognise every song from the very first note of it because I've heard them so many times, but I gotta say, my favourite songs are his older songs. :)

It seems as if some of you have passed the level of fan, to total obsession!!:shock: I mean, don't get me wrong, I really like Jay, and I would marry him if I could. But I do think that a bit of balance is needed. It sounds like some of you are really love-sick over him. To a high degree. I like him alot, but in reality, we may never meet him, and if we do, the chances that he will fall for us is not that great. I tend to just think he is a good looking man, and talented singer, but I never go farther then that.

for as long as i can remember..i got bored with him once when i heard about him and jolin fading away..my friend and i were so into the JJ relationship..then we heard that Jay and Jolin were 'fading away'..but that didn't affect me for long..i just tell myself that i just hope Jay will be happy with whoever he wants to be..now i'm so obsess with his music..there is never a day where i leave my house without hearing his music and his slow sentimental songs have become a lullaby when i go to sleep..:wink2:

To the best of my memory, I never got tired of him but did spend some time away from his music when Jay was working on a new album. I guess I just stopped listening to most of his old songs and listened to other artists like Tank, Show, Wang Leehom, JJ Lin, etc. But I admit I still listened to couple of his songs here and there cuz giving up on his music is impossible.

Not that i was bored by Jay, but there was a period where there were other good artistes around whom i gradually appreciated too. Didn't really had any contact with jay's songs during that period of time.
Anyway, after Still Fantasy was released, i'm on repeat mode with jay's songs again. :laughing:

I still haven't stumbled upon that bored-with-Jay feeling but now, what I can say is that Jay's songs has something that can make me smile even in the darkest and grey-est days in my life... And I really felt that he had helped me live happy and cheerful day every second, everyday. It might seem like I'm a bit exaggerating n stuff like that, but these words really come from my heart. That's a hilarious piece of advice! Actually it does sort of work... I know what you mean.
Regardless, I think it's natural to get bored of something after awhile. I occasionally have one day in a month when I'm a bit bored with Jay's work, but the next day I'm right back into his music again. And when I am bored with his songs, I tried listening to other people music, but I turn it off soon after, because all music seems so bland and plain ever since I was introduced to Jay's stuff.

i've been bored of him once, but only ONCE. that was last year, when he released On The Run. im not a big fan of that album.
but with this new album, it's a whole different story. i listen to it everyday! lol! Dao Xiang's my fave!
i cant get enough of his old songs from his other albums too, like Jay, Ye Hui Mei, and November's Chopin!

Sometimes when I listen to his songs everyday for like...five hours or something I get bored of listening to him. I don't stay away for long though. I always come back and fall in love with his music all over again. Normal, right? Change is something I gotta have once in a while. Or...there's a quote that says something like Distance makes the heart fonder. Or something like that. I love how he's inspired me to do more than I thought I could. For a long time, I didn't want to do anything...then I was inspired by how someone can do so much and be good at so much of it. Great man.

No, i dont think i have. There are periods where i dont listen to him but i'm into him again so much this year and listening to his songs brings back good memories. i don't think his songs can get sickening such as coral sea and they're just so nicely sung that u never get sick of it but there are some exceptions but its a minority such as william castle, everything else is wonderfully catchy.
