i searched but still not sure if there's a topic on the show CSI. but anyway just wonderin' if anyone like that show, cuz CSI is one of my favorites. the only part i kinda don't like is when they show the inside like when a bullet goes through but then that's what make the show kool. hehe.

At my class, our teacher made us do CSI. We investigated suspect, witnesses, and victims. I'm sorry but i havent seen the show so i dont know about it.

yeah, i really like csi, its one of the best series on tv..

its really intresting to see how the investigators have to be so careful and specific with the evidence, that job would never suit me. im soo forgetful and sloppy
and it´s fun to see how crimes are solved, i had the impression that the police does that stuff.. LOL

and the guy who plays warrick, is just soo hot  he´s got amazing green eyes! yummy.

yup yup...i like CSI..first watched it in year 8 coz sci teacher told us to. its really interesting how they solve the crime, and its really cool how they show the insides and what had happened at the scene of the crime.

i read in the newspaper that the police force was given the suggestion to watch CSI to get ideas on how to solve crime. haha thats how good this series is!

CSI is definitely better than CSI miami, even though i've only watched one episode of it. It didn't lure me in like CSI did. The characters are more developed in CSI and the cases are better as well.

I agree with everyone else. CSI is better than CSI Miami. I don't know, I think the plot in CSI Las Vegas is more ineteresting than the CSI Miami. Each characters are more developed. I really like the cast of CSI, especially the two most important persons (Gah, I forget their names... but they're the oldest ones). They really play the characters well. ^ ^

I find it really nice that they made the story so detailed, and the facts they they had within the story are so well-thought-of. I mean, it's not something you make up, but it definately needs investigations, research and development for each episode.

I have AXN Action at home and I miss the appearance of CSI since they replace it with CSI Miami. I really don't like the cast of CSI Miami. Is it just me or I really think all of the cast doesn't look "smart" to be crime investigators. The original CSI cast look smarter. And they're all much better looking that the one from CSI Miami.

And the story in CSI MIami is more about sex. I kinda het it when a serious crime scene is twisted with sex and girls in bikinis. Reminds me of Baywatch.

Me, too. I prefer CSI - the original one to CSI Miami. Somebody mentioned this before in the Malaysian thread. Horatio looks like an arrogant *beep beep* and the whole Miami crew just doesn't feel as right as the guys from the orginal CSI. The emotions they portray seems so put on. Summer, they don't even dress as smartly as the other team.

As for the original CSI team, I feel I know them better. Plus, I love Warrick.

I. LOVE. CSI.

I hate science but I am such a CSI Forensic freak! lol The show is so great.. I learn a ton from there and then I can talk like I'm smart.

not to say that i hate CSI, but my whole family watches it all the time. i grew verry sick of it.
i swear all they watch is shows with dead people on them. murder investigation shows. my family is twisted.

zhy378: your right the penetration shots are the best part of the series. thats the only part of the show i like. ok. i like the theme song too. but thets it.

im bored of it now. i prefer "third watch" that is a great show. verry funny.

but guys....the reason that CSI has more personality is because it's been fleshed out more

each episode you learn a little bit more about each person

so ideally you need to watch a lot of episodes to get to know each character

in oz, or maybe just my part of the country, csi:miami has been showing 5 maybe 6 weeks, which is hardly enough time to get to know anybody, on screen or not...

anyways

i've noticed that CSI: Miami has more graphical shots...like people actually autopsied and you can see their chest open and stuff

and then i noticed that CSI beefed up their graphical images as well...is this a coincidence¿

I love the show too....i watch the show every thursday night even if I have alot of hw to do. I like the regular the CSI (LV) more because the CSI miami when they speak spanish there is no substitle, how am I suppose to understand what they are saying.
anyway Grissom is my fav character of them all.

I love csi tooo...^__^....I watched it last night... but I'm not as a bigger fan to csi miami..I find that it's more to do with guns.....rather than u know the usual stuff on csi

Are you saying they still have CSI going? I thought CSI is gone and replaced by CSI: Miami. :?

Anyway, I never wanted to miss any episode of CSI, but when CSI:Miami replaced it, I stopped watching that series. I don't know... the cast doesn't feel right, and somehow the cinematography is very different than CSI:LV. CSI Miami has more orange/yellowish camera filter, while CSI has more blue-ish camera filter. (I hope people know what I'm talking about) ... therefore CSI Miami looks like an old movie, because of the yellowish color. (Like how you feel when you watch Jay's Ta de Jie Mao MV, it looks like an old movie because of the yellow filter.)

i thought that they did that because miami is a hot place and las vegas is more nightlife, isn't it so you can tell the difference between the two shows?

sUm^MeR
10-01-2003, 07:58 AM
Yeah, I know they purposely do that. But I still don't like the yellow effect. Haha, it makes that show looks old. Or maybe I just like nightlife much better than the sunny, beach, swamp scenery that CSI:Miami has. ^ ^

Has anyone else noticed that Kathryn (Catherine? Katherine? ) has a different hair style almost each episode? Don't you just love it? :)

I watched only 1 full episode of CSI Miami. And I didn't like it. Maybe it's because we have the feeling it's trying to impersonate CSI LV. I wonder what our reactions would be if CSI Miami appeared first. :?

that´s kinda intresting point u have there... hmmm on the other hand, the reason i dont like CSI miami it because the characters are more intriguing in CSI. (like many ppl have already said here :wink2: )

If there's one character I can do without in CSI , that will be Nick. I don't know why but he looks too cute for the team. Maybe he belongs in Miami.

sUm^MeR
10-07-2003, 06:37 AM
omg, I'm totally lost with the names.... eventhough I watch that thing every week.

Some stupid question I want to ask.

Who is Warrick?
Is he the leader of CSI Las Vegas?

Catherine???
Is she the blond female lead in CSI LV?

Nick??
Is he the youngest one who always stays in the lab/wear the lab coat?

Hahah, sorry.... I'm really lost. CSI is no longer shown in TV (at least not in my cable TV), so I really don't know where to find who is who? >_<

cici bebe
10-07-2003, 06:39 AM
Warrick is:
Cool black guy, afro-ish hair, around Sara's age.

Nick:
Cool white guy with dark hair, around Sara's age.

Sara:
About the 2nd girl protagonist (next to Catherine), dark brown short hair.

Catherine:
Orange-ish hair, around Grissom's age, probably main lead woman protagonist.

Hope that helped Summer

ashley
10-07-2003, 06:46 AM
.... and Grissom's the leader of the pack.

Summer, I too forgot the names but when I started talking about Warrick, it all came back to me.

10-07-2003, 06:56 AM
Thank you guys!!! ^ ^

Okay, now since all the names and description was mentioned, it all comes back to me now. But I can't really picture Nick in my head.

Who's the lab white guy, btw?

I actually like Grissom and Cathrine duo. They look smart and they plays the characters well. I think they make a really good pair (as partners). And Catherine looks awesome for someone whose age around 30-40.

ashley
10-07-2003, 07:07 AM
The lab guy would be Greg. The quirky fellow, right? Young and obnoxious? And incredibly smart?

My favourite Greg line :
"I'm looking at the DNA of the perfect mother for my kids".

About Grissom and Catherine - I don't know but I thought I read somewhere Girssom's going to get involved with Sara instead?
We haven't got the privilege to watch that season yet.

cici bebe
10-07-2003, 07:17 AM
I LOVE GREG! :D Doesn't he like Sara? It's always been like.. and underplot I hope sometime develops.. though I don't usually like romance in dramas, it complicates things and as if CSI doesn't have enough on their plates already.

Grissom and SARA? That's disgusting.. Please NO.. isn't their age difference like, at least by 20 years?

CSI has got to be one of my favourite tv series. Love the plot and the cast. There's anticipation, scares and laughs always. I love Greg's one liners.

I've not seen a whole episode of CSI: Miami, but had a glimpse of what the cast is like in the episode Cross Jurisdictions where Catherine and Warrick flies to Miami for a case, and I didn't like the Miami cast. The girl investigator looks and sounds bimbotic. And why use the name Horatio? That's a bit too "heavy" isn't it?

Can't wait to watch Season Four.

vashdestampede
10-13-2003, 12:20 PM
geee.....i think you just offended everybody named Horatio out in the world....

petheads
10-13-2003, 04:11 PM
oops...no offense intended...just that this is the first time I've come across the name used in modern times and I immediately associated the name with Shakespeare's tragedy. that's why I thought it's too heavy. but once again, my apologies for any offended.

i love CSI! i learn a lot of cool stuff and the way they handle a crime is just so totally awesome. and what's cooler is that they find a clue in every evidence they find! totally amazing.

i agree that Las Vegas is better than Miami, but even so, i have to say both are good. i like Nick so much. hmm, i wonder if CSI New York will be any good too?

i like CSI Miami too but i'm not sure its as good as the original... i like the characters better in the original...

CSI nearly changed my life... after watching it i wanted to become one.. or a crime scene analyst or something... was all set to join the police force but my parents intervened and called me a dummy... so i didn't do it.. =\

CSI is the best show!! I really like the two guys (the afro one and the square jaw one)! They have good bodies too! :) Oh, and the show's also good of course (dont want to seem superficial..hehe) - it's very entertaining and i've always loved mysteries!

CSI New York hasn't started yet has it??

i like CSI Miami too but i'm not sure its as good as the original... i like the characters better in the original...

yeh, i'm pretty sure CSI new york hasn't started yet! Cold Case (another Jerry bruckheimer one) is starting soon in australia i think! So watch out for that one... Oh I really like Without A Trace (another jerry bruckheimer one) - Maybe even more than CSI! Anthony Lapaglia rocks!

I wanted to be a forensic scientist too...but then i realised there aren't many jobs...and u'd be looking at dead ppl and scary stuff like that. i'm not that brave...

CSI NY is starting this season. I saw previews of it on an American network (I live in Canada). It seems pretty neat, but I think there's too many cop shows based from NY, so hopefully they'll put a different spin on it.

I saw the teaser for the season premiere of CSI: Miami and it said that one of the CSI won't survive it! Ah! Did anybody hear anything about that?

A lot of people here like CSI better than CSI: Miami...I tend to think of them as completely different shows and not really comparable. I like how they make them that way though, how they bring out the different people who go to Vegas and live in Miami and the crimes that happen to them. It seems like they did cancel CSI and only bring in CSI: Miami on AXN, but they're playing the first season of CSI on...uh...one of the movie channels, I can't remember which one.

XingFu
09-12-2004, 08:21 AM
o yeah, i've seen the csi:miami trailer during the csi marathon on spike tv. it said that one csi will not make it through. i read somewhere that one of the cast members is quitting (rory? im not even sure if this is the correct name, forgive me). so i guess, they'll gonna kill the character.

got it, the cast member is rory cochrane who is rumoured to quit the show to pursue movies.

Or somewhere around those dates. Will be a great week.

They have the best cases and plots...but it actually takes more time than a span time of a week to solve a case! hehe

Whoa, 4 cases in one episode. And Greg almost made it as a CSI (that means more tv exposure for him and yipee for me) but that new dna girl aka obsessive-compulsive quits. Too bad! Does it mean that greg is stuck at the lab for the next episodes?

I just can't stand the way CSI:miami is marketed in SG. They make it sound like it's the "real thing" but... gah! the Las Vegas version is not only authentic... but also the best. Miami strays way too much and is WAY too dramatic

Totally jealous how you guys get to watch CSI first hand... am sill waiting for my darned TV station to air the next season here

i think i'm the only person who kind of likes CSI: Miami.
because i think of them as completely separate shows and not comparing them to each other.
i just like the harsh yellow overtones everything is filmed in. and the things they do with bullets.
i like how vegas/miami has different people, so they solve different cases.

that's too bad, because i really like this season of CSI.
i haven't really watched any more episodes of NY though because that girl annoys me. she looks like sarah jessica parker. which annoys me even more.

XingFu
10-16-2004, 03:22 AM
Glad to have found someone who is annoyed with Sarah Jessica Parker, too. True, she bears an uncanny resemblance to that CSI:NY girl. On another note, I like Gary Sinise though. I think he is a really good actor, I liked him in Of Mice and Men and Forrest Gump.

CSI.. the coolest show ever.. learnt tonnes of stuff from it..
CSI:las vegas that it.. CSI:maimi sux..

really irritating.. they are rather fake and the chemistry between actors and actresses isnt there unlike CSI:las vegas..

12-25-2004, 09:39 AM
Man, I watch all of the CSI series religiously. Vegas is the best one though...They come up with the craziest crime plots, since anything goes in Vegas ^_- CSI Vegas has been going on for years tho, so they have had more time to develop...It's weird when you compare the earlier episodes of CSI:Vegas with the latest ones...so much more high tech and expensive O_O

I was afraid that CSI: NY was gunna be the worst of the trio, but I actually ended up liking it more than Miami...Might be my devotion to Gary Sinise tho, I'll watch pretty much anything Sinise is in (Midnight Clear - with Ethan Hawke!!, Forrest Gump, Of Mice and Men being my favorites...) But the NY cast is actually pretty cool

I liked CSI Miami with the Speedle guy better...he was so pessimistic it was funny. Miami has a lot of gang-related crimes tho, or crimes with a lot of rappers in it..Maybe it's just me :/

Has anyone noticed that the NY corpses are more gorey than the LV ones? Or is it just me?
The other day I was reading an article about the actors who get paid to get decked up like a corpse for the show...That sounds like such a cool job for the make-up artist ^_^

I have been hooked on this show since I started watching the pilot episode last year.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is mainly about the people working beside scene when it comes to crime solving. They are the people who collects the evidence and used physical evidence to solve the crimes. These people used to be known as the forensics team, now they are known as the CSI (Crime Scene Investigators)

The original CSI series is based in Vegas, the "City of Sin", with the story revolving around the work of the night-shift CSI unit in Vegas. The head supervisor is Gil Grissom, the entomologist and is an essential part of why CSI is so popular...(You'll have to watch it to understand what that means  ) Then there is the nerd of the group, Sara Sidle, Single Mother of one, Catherine Willows, hunky Nick Stokes, and ex-gambler-turned-good Warrick Browns.

Also, there are everal non-CSI investigators, who also made the story a more interesting watch. There's the cute DNA Trace Analysis, Greg Sanders (who is such a fun character to watch  ) Then there is Brass the homocide detective.... (there is a sad story behind this character, but if I tell you now, I would be spoiling the suspense :shifty: )

This show is so popular in the States, it even had two spin-offs, CSI: Miami, and CSI: New York. I had the chance to see both series, but I still like the original one, mainly because the cases are all the same, but it is character that make the show.

I've got to admit, I have been a huge fan of forensic science shows and detective trillers. Call me the sciene nerd anytime!

Dawnie, I've merged your thread into this existing one.

I don't believe I've posted in this thread b4.
I used to watch CSI every week. the Las Vegas ones.
the stories are all so interesting and original and I really like the scientific side of the show. Like how they take the viewers into the incestigation with them....doing the microscopic magnification of the evidence, and the close up re-enactments of the crimes.....the classic bullet going through the organs and stuff.

but haven't been watching it for a while now coz too busy.

Am I digging up old threads?

Has anyone seen all three? Which one is better? CSI, CSI Miami, or CSI NY? I heard they are going to have a CSI LA. I think, they are really trying to squeeze every drop out of this CSI idea.

Yuck. It'd suck if they really did make a CSI: LA...I mean, I'd watch it, hehe, but I don't think Id enjoy it as much as CSI the original. I like NY better than Miami...Many of the episodes/crimes in Miami are redundant in my opinion, whereas in NY they're being a little more creative with the corpses and quirks. Vegas is the best, of course, simply because it's Vegas and the writers can do virtually anything. i love Grissohm [sp?]. Only he can make a fascination for bugs sound so cool :D

Ahhhh i love Nick Stokes!!! *fans self* Such a manly jawwwwwwwwww.... *in love* And Warrick is such a buff man! I love it when they take their shirts off.....*drools* I'm like "Yeh! Strip! Jump in! Go look for that evidence! Get that afro wet!"

I havent seen ONE episode of NY yet... is it good? I still like the original better. (And i really like without a trace...go Anthony!)

Hahaha I love it when Grissom's like "it's not xxxxx, it's homocide" *cue starting credits - "whoooo are you...who who? who who?"...*

Same here Shay! Was so upset Nick got into that contractual problem thing together with Sara and they threatened to pull them off the show! And yeah! I love pool murders! Someone's gotta strip.

I still like the cast of the original CSI most.

I just saw the CSI:NY episode, which is not really that mindboggling. I think I still like original CSI better, although I am willing to keep watching to see how CSI:NY goes.

Spork: You'll right, only Grissom can make bugs sound so interesting! BUGS! URGH!
One of my favorite of Grissom's quote was when Sara asked him what that was (a bug/bug casing or something) he said, "Either John or Paul"... get it?

Oh, a small trivial, did you know that Archie Kao (the video expert), this is not his first appearance on TV series? He used to be one of the Power Rangers (the blue one, or so I was told)

spork
04-13-2005, 05:14 AM
:hmm: I don't remember the "John or Paul" joke at all...that must mean I'm not watching enough of the CSI: Weekends (reruns of the original CSI eps) on sunday night. Archie was a blue ranger? o.O not on the original PR series right? I remember the first blue ranger being white...I thought he looked familiar. I thought it was from some Law and ORder series, but im probably wrong.

what was the contract issue about? o.O

petheads
04-13-2005, 05:37 PM
If I remember correctly, Nick and Sara were fired last year for breach of contract. Apparently they did not turn up for shooting at the beginning of the new season and CBS said it was a delay tactic to force a pay rise. They were eventually rehired again but without a pay rise.

spork
04-15-2005, 10:04 AM
hrmph. so greedy :/ but at the same time the producers and management folk get to pocket all the money, so I'd want a pay rise too :|

next week is the debut of CSI:LA, I believe. I don't think it will be on parr with NY, which isn't comparable to Vegas....but I'll probably end up watching LA anyway to reaffirm my fandom of CSI, hehe.

Last night's episode was freaky. Especially the part about the bodybuilder and the mold infection and the part when the kid dies in the dryer...Suddenly being tossed around in a washer or dryer doesn't sound funny anymore...

haha i'm so slow... i get it now! beetle! hahahhaa *bangs head against wall*

i wish i had the dvds!! when i get a job that's one of the first thigns i'll invest in..that and without a trace dvds! oh and clothes..and belts...and other accessories. :p i've missed so many eps of everything! i hate it! >< and it doesnt help that the tv doesnt really tell you what's new eps and what's old....so i have to tell by how grissom looks and whether he has a beard or not!!

i cant believe nick stokes has like...bald/really short hair now. that sucks! i mean, he's still pretty hot...and i still like warrick. *drools*

my god, they're showing so many "real crime" kinda shows....about real CSI etc... It's REALLY flooding australian tv atm!!!! >< if they make more CSI's i'm gonna die.... i havent even seen a NY episode yet!!!! are you SERIOUS that there's an LA spork? (awesome name btw...i love sporks. two in one. very handy. very smart.)

ps. wow, i've never used so many ><'s before. it used to be so un-like me but now i cant find any other emoticon/symbol to express how i feel...

spork
04-17-2005, 04:00 AM
^^ thanks Shay! I think sporks are pretty darn handy too! a spork starred in an episode of Alias once...the actual episode sucked but the part where the spork can in was awesome

I love without a trace too! but i always miss a lot of eps due to hw, since it airs at 10pm at night. i like Cold Case too, the one where they solve cases from 20+ years ago. And that Numb3rs show is getting addictive too. GRARGH! so many crime-shows! I'm so hooked on CBS -_-

And yes, there IS gunna be an LA series now, CBS is gunna pull the same trick they used to introduce NY and Miami. Next week will be the preview for LA, the CSIs in Vegas are gunna chase down some criminal in LA, and the preview had all these new faces that will probably be the LA cast.

Gee... that makes me can't wait to see CSI: LA too..... Just think, all those stories they can write about crimes arising from Pamela Anderson's , I mean, plastic surgery.....

I hope they don't make too many of of the same thing, I mean, CSI is interesting, but how many times can you tell the same kind of story? I sure don't want CSI to die off because of over exposure.

Help!!!

I just watched CSI on AXN today, and they were showing season 5, and during this episode, that prick of a guy Ecklie (did I spell that right?), broke up the CSI nightshift??? Putting Catherine in charge of the mid-day shift, with Warrick???

Oh, can someone please help me! Tell me CSI is not going to stay that way, isst?

Ya. I also totally dig CSI. I find it to be quite a cool show which really makes the job of a forensic scientist so so glamourous and happening. However, I find it quite unbelievable that they manages to solve every single case every time be it thru hard work or thru a stroke of luck... I cannot seem to recall a case which they are unable to solve.

I also read somewhere that they acting are really not that professional because forensic scientists are suppose to wear face masks when going about to do their work. That came from a true forensic scientist...

spork
04-20-2005, 04:21 AM
well CSI isn't required to be accurate...most of the viewers that tune in every week probably wouldn't care anyway, but i underestimate people =P

CJ yup they split up the shifts...so Catherine heads the team with Warrick and Nick and Grissom got Sara and...uh...that other guy X_X i should really be able to remember his name >< and yeah, the change is permanent. Catherine gets the shift before graveyard shift :D

Cardboard_Jay
04-20-2005, 07:40 AM
Greg?

NO way! How can they split up the shift? How can they keep on the dynamics of the show if the cases are to be split into the Graveyard shift and the Swing (?) shift? Sigh, maybe they are feeling that they can't have everything happening in the graveyard shift, and since the day shift has been taken up by the PRICK, so Catherine gets the Swing shift. (Don't suppose they could start a CSI: Vegas II? *lol*)

I hope the quality of the show doesn't get affected, with so many 'parallel imports'. :(

spork
04-20-2005, 08:38 AM
lol, well it's still going good, to me. it was SO weird at first, when they kept switching back and forth between people, and I get the cases confused. I dunno why, because in the original eps they usually had two groups working on their own cases anyway, but yeah...it was just...confusing at first. but yeah, i liked the original team, when catherine and grissom would talk and argue or whatever. brass is still cool, hehe. in his tough guy way.

Shay
04-20-2005, 09:52 AM
is there something going on between sara and grissom? they either hint at it..or something happened that i missed or...maybe im just reading too much into it??

been more busy so always missing eps of csi..and when i can watch it they show the old eps!! ><

i dont think i've seen the shift thing yet..but as i said, i've been missing heaps of eps! what's u guys' fav eps hey???

spork
04-20-2005, 10:07 AM
Shay: there was some tension between Sara and Grissom in the earlier eps...I haven't seen all the old eps, but in the one I did see, Sara got mad at Grissom for neglecting her, I guess, and not knowing she was a vegetarian, and then Catherine scolded him and he bought her flowers...there's probably more drama/tension, but that was all I caught -_-

fav ep? man I wish i knew haha. I can tell you the scariest one I've seen, haha. There was this one ep where a man in a coyote suit was found dead, and they traced him back to a popular er, club...

macdawn
04-20-2005, 01:39 PM
I have one that comes to mind, not exactly fav, but funny. The one where there was a convention of furry animals, and they were 'plushing' and 'spifing' (sp). I thought all the conversation between the CSIs were hilarious. And so when I think of funny episode, this one is sure to pop up. It is one of the epsiode in season 5, though, so I think we'll have a long wait before we can see it on our TV.

macdawn
04-21-2005, 01:26 PM
I thought that episode was really funny, not because of there are actually people who lived like that. More for the dialogue actually. But it is true, kinda sad some people only find happiness when they are all bundled up in a fur coat. :depresse:

Reminds me of the one of the girl who lived her life as a loner, lived alone, order takeouts, order from catalogues... and the sad way Sara was reminded that she also lived like that. CSI really brings out the darker side of life.

Shay
04-21-2005, 03:20 PM
aww yes! i remmeber that ep..that was sad. :(

my fav ep, (dont ask me why..but i just thought it was cool) was when the victim was run over and he was smashed into the windshield of the car. the victim was still alive-ish but the driver was drunk and didnt wanna get in trouble so he kinda waited to sober up..but then the victim died. Anyway, the important part was that the victim actually committed suicide and the driver wouldnt have been in trouble if he fessed up and helped the victim. INSTEAD he went to jail!!! (i'm guessing..)

WHAT a great ep! *sigh*

P.S. hahaha the furry animal one was funky..wierd but kinda funky. *reow*

On the free-to-air TV, they are showing season 4, just last tuesday, they showed the "Fur and Loathing" (the people in furry animal suits one, very funny)

On cable TV, they are showing season 5, I think last week's show is "Who Killed Sherlock" or something like that.

Which episode are you talking about, spork?

oo I liked Who Killed Sherlock? It was interesting.

The creepy one I saw was when Sarah and Grissom go to a prison for criminals with mental disorders to investigate one inmate/patient's death. Dunno if anyone saw it yet so I don't want to spoil anything, but some of the criminals portrayed were creepy o.o like, all of them were serial rapist killers with hallucinations and stuff, and the actors were being scary ><
it was a good ep tho :D

i think the creepiest one i saw was the one where that businessman had an obsession with being a baby. so he has a playpen set up and everything and blackmailed this lady to pose as his mother. it was kind of disgusting.

but i still maintain that CSI: NY has the most disturbing episodes.

spork
05-14-2005, 11:56 PM
Oi i forgot about the CSI ep with the business man...that one was REALLY creepy O_O I would say creepier than the one where people dressed up as animals, but on par with the one at the hospital/prison for the mentally disturbed people...they can have their own category of crazyness and be at the top, heh.

O_O for the people who are able to watch the latest eps of CSI, has anyone seen the preview for this coming night's CSI finale?????? It's a 2 hours special hosted by Quentin Tarantino. Someone kidnaps Nick Stokes and buries him alive, and Grissom has to go find him within 1.5 hrs before he dies! AHHHHHHHHHH >_<

CSI NY has the scarier corpses..they really go into detail with the murdered-person make up and it's so creepy. I remember the Ep with the dead contortionist circus boy, how they had to pull his body straight after pulling himout of the box. i kept thinking how if it was a real dead body they'd have to break things or tear muscles or something...EEEEEEK.

did people watch it?

even though i'm not a big fan of quentin taratino. and he put in some weird effects that are supposed to look like "art" but just screamed "loser". still, he did an ok job of directing the thing.

it was pretty intense.
and man, what they put nick through.
terrible.
that would be the most horrible way to die.

Did you americans catch the 2 hr ep?? Was it good???!! (no spoilers of course!) But was nick's acting good?? (I adore that buff man...)

Apparently QT (Quentin Tarantino) was doing all these wierd things to get Nick prepared for the coffin scene(s?), like getting him to think about his death, telling him his mother was watching?? and singing "Hush little baby dont you cry..." which is like...wierd as! but i mean...it worked right?

(Well, i dont know if it worked coz i didnt see it..but...nick was cute right? Hahaha)

I saw this on U.S. Entertainment Tonight..(i dont usually watch it! i swear!) which is on Australian TV...I don't know why? It's on at like, 3 in the arvo though which is wierd.

Hehe I love Tarantino, crazy foot fetish and all. I was chewing on my nails the last half hour and going "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!!!!"
This one scene near the end was just twisted...not even freaky x.x probably the creepiest for CSI yet...I dunno if it was tarantino or the writers that came up with the idea but the acting was so tarantino -_-

poor Nick...you notice all the really bad things happen to him? Like in one of the earlier episodes this guy from the cable-company stalked him and killed some people he knew, or something like that..

I need to go watch the finale again X_X

shay, nick's pretty cute i must say.
man he did that to prepare for the coffin scene? that's really twisted.
i'm sure you watch ET all the time hehehehe.

it was so intense.
but when...ok spoilers.

i can't believe it when the plexiglass cracked and ANTS started to come in and eat him!!! that was so amazingly freaky. i sat there and i was like "i cannot envision being in that situation and if i were nick i would have shot myself. i mean ANTS. FIRE ANTS. getting EATEN by FIRE ANTS.

and even though i knew nick wouldn't die, but...*shivers* when he put the gun under his chin when warrick was watching. i was all "OMG NICKY DON'T DIE".

i didn't understand the final scene though. when nick was talking to that girl in the prison.

the part that was the most QT is the black and white scene when nicky's dreaming that they're taking him apart. and there was blood everywhere. when the dad blew himself up in front of grissom though, that was also very QT.

really? he was stalked by some guy?
i never saw that episode, what season was it?

spork
05-21-2005, 02:31 AM
judes: i don't remember what season that ep was from :/

spoilers:
I guess nick went back to talk to that girl in hopes of saving her from the same bitter life that her dad lead after she was sentenced, which makes nick so much cooler @_@ The dream sequence was SO QT -_- the beginning of that scene, when the cornoner was looking at him, of that scene in Kill Bill when this guy was paying the nurse for a "go" at thurman's character, right before she woke up

THE ANTS WERE SO FREAKIN SCARY O_O

It was horrible to see nick breaking down and ready to cry in the end, right before they pul him out of the coffin :x

hmm....this thread has been quiet since the CSI season finale way back when summer first started...now it's time to revive it a little

The new season of CSI premiered last thursday...to be honest it was kinda lackluster :/ Although I will continue to watch that show faithfully, I expected something more exciting, because after a while I wasn't really paying attention...I wanted something that would make me go "jeeeeebus that's gross" or make a face that went :O
well, there was a "jeeeeebus that's gross scene"....and it was really gross

Brief not-too-detailed Spoiler/Summary:
So everyone comes back, Warrick and Catherine find a dead girl dressed to be a stripper in some plastic bag and wearing boots, and then when they're looking over the body, Cathy notices that Warrick is wearing a ring :o and you find out that he married some girl that may or may not have appeared in the series. As they work on the case, Catherine reveals that she had some kind of thing for Warrick :o which came out of nowhere :/ Turns out the girl was hired as a stripper on some limo-bus-for-hire and dumped somewhere in the middle of nowhere with only undies on...So she stole change from a bum to make a phone call and the bum killed her.
Meanwhile, Sarah and Nick are working on some exploding trailer, which they solve it rather quickly (some drunk driver drove through the trailer and it exploded).
Then Sarah and Greg start working on a car and the nasty part was when Greg accidentally splattered some decomp fluid on his face   from a trunk where two bodies were left...It was just a couple on a date, one was a drug dealer who hid cocaine in some cinnamon buns, and the killer was just a druggie.

CSI is one of my favorite shows!
some of the scenes makes me not regret taking up lots of chemistry, especially biochemistry...
its a show for "geeks"...i was just saddened that they had to kill off rory cochrane's character...tim speedle, is just my "speed"...ryan wolf (jonathan togo) is also hot...but not hot enough...is he the guy in the essential-lacoste CM?...striking resemblance...
