Jay's copied CD (edit: ever bought pirated Jay cds?)

i once bought this copied cd of jay (calm down, let me finish)
bcoz it said it has Jay's latest new songs
called: "Only me and you"
"friendship"
and "where do you live"
but has anyone actually heard of these new songs????? :?
coz they do not exist
But the singing in their actually does sound like Jay, so i'm confused....
i mean copied goods are sooooooooo cheap (in both price and quality)
they even add songs that are not by the artist :crazy:
so never go buy copied goods, especially jay's
and support jay's "real" albums!!

has anyone bought jay's copied cds and found the same problem???

I have never brought a copied CD.
Im trying to discourage my friends from downloading and burning CDs from the net. I think that the artists have got to make a living somehow, and if they are in the music industry, well then its from CD sales.
Im not dissing you or anything Phyxius, I guess its just kind of a warning to everyone to check what you buy !
Stuff like this happens..... so yeah.

i told my friend to bring me Jay´s cd from china, he´s not really into jay´s music, and doesnt know about jay´s cd´s. anyway, he came back with a double cd of jays music.
the cd was called :jay - bu zhi bu jue ai shang ni

he thought it was somekind of "best of cd" since there were 2 cds in the package, it turned out to be a mix of jay´s and david tao´s song, a pirate cd..... gah.

but i would say that in mainland china, its kinda hard to find any cd that isnt pirate...
they know how to make some of the cd´s look really authentic, if your not careful, u wont know the difference...

its not just the cds that are pirated.. the vcds and dvds too.. there was even a problem of pirated harry potter books..

i was in china and even though i bought all jays original cds i bought this set of of the one concert cd - it has 2 cds and a vcd of 8 dimension - it only 60 remembi - looks original to me but i have never seen such a set in malaysia . i also bought yfzm - suppose to be original - cd wothout vcd - 20 remembi - i paid rm69 for the imported version in malaysia !

Curious story... I bought a original Malaysian printed CD for RM35, and in addition to the ori CD and VCD there was two CD-Rs (copies of the CD and the VCD) together in the package.
And when i asked my frens who bought the same thing but from other shops, none of them had such a package.

i did. but it was only so i had all jay songs. kinda to tide me over till i got the real ones. got em now though~!

i did experience kinda the same problem. because i cant read chinese, i freaked when i saw 2 copies of Fantasy on the shelf. one had more songs than the other, so i bought both. it was Fantasy plus, which hads a compilation of songs from the first two albums.

i then bought a copy of 8D. it has other songs on it too. but it is the real thing. its not a copy. is there 2 editions of 8D? or was i played for a fool?

however i have heard of 'where do u live'....but i d/l it and it comes up as 'looking at u' instead of where do u live...

and 'friends' yeah i got it but i didn't really like it!

and this other JAYsong called yan huo or something...i can't really understand it but it soundz good :) hehehahaa

i live in manila wherein Jay original CDs are VERY RARE (i got lucky one time and found "Fantasy" on sale at our local tower records...you can't imagine how ecstatic i was when i was handing the CD over the counter to pay for it. ÜÜÜ), so if ever i'll see any CD of jay being sold here, whether it's pirated or not, i'll buy it.

once i get a job though and save enough money, i'll buy his diao stuff from the net.Ü

I used to buy Jay's fake cd. Take it easy guys. I think it's ok because it is impossible for me to buy the original one where I live. Don't talk about buying from internet, it makes my life much more complicated. I don't have credit card and so on. Anyway, When I know where I can get the copyright(that I can reach), I don't hesitate to buy it even I have fake one already. Recently, I just asked my friend who went to Taiwan bought it for me. I'm really happy getting that cd.

well..for the truth.. first i saw Jay is in his pirated the One vcd concert..and then i give him a try out and buy his pirated Fantasy and 8 D cds..BUT..after i heard it and definitely love it..i immediately bought the ORIGINAL Cds..
Usually, i bought pirated cds just for a try out..if i like it a lot..gonna buy the original one..but for Jay..no more pirated cds..love his music so far..

Never. I never even bought any of his albums myself. My brother always mangae to get them. As far as I know, he has all the originals (besdies the new one. None of our relatives and friends were in Taiwan at the time of the release so he d/l it off the net) and burns them so that the original will keep its quality. However, he's an asshole to me. I haven't even EVER touch the 8D album 'cause my broth is so bloody selfish. I dunno where it is in my house anymore and according to my broth, he gave it to his friend and kept the copy (and I dunno where the copy is). Things like this always happen so I resulted d/l the songs off the net.
P.S. Dun bomb me or anything. I have no choice. Things in Aus r just so bloody expensive.

actually, i admit that one of the jay cds i own is pirated, the 8 Dimensions one...but its a pretty good copy, since it has all the original 8D tracks, plus 5 bonus songs from Fantasy and Jay, and also a clip of the Last Battle, with a nice shiny Jay cover, so its not too bad =P

If my friends buy any pirated copy of CDs (which they always do), I'll get really upset.

If they purchase a pirated copy of Jielun's CD, I'll get angry and really upset and wouldnt talk to them (until they agree to throw it away).

My parents, too,are against piracy. But they think original copies are expensive. So they suggest I dont buy any. HAHA.

hmm. i think i brought one pirated jay cd(8 Dimensions) when i went to China about 2 years ago, i didn't know that it's a pirated cd(the cover use almost the same material and design except with avex trax as his record company,which i didn't know that time that jay's record company is bmg) until i got back to US and check out jay's cd on yesasia.com. So when i found out, i brought the real copy of 8 dimension from yesasia, and i'll probably nvr buy any cd in China anymore, since you can't tell a cd is pirated or not.

I did it once only because the original cd ran out of stock and I don't have the patience to wait for the next batch. But as soon as the original cds arrived, I made sure that I bought a copy of the cd to show my support for Jay.

actually.. i think the first jay cd i ever got was pirated. lol. whoops. but at that time, i wasnt as big of a fan of jay as i am now. in fact, i'm not even really sure how i got the CD in the first place. i just remember that i really liked "love before the century" and started listening to more of his songs after that. the back of the pirated CD has a topless jay :D maybe that's why i liked him so much.. haha, i kid!

I've accidentally bought a couple from the Chinatown in my city...I wasn't aware that they were fake until I looked at the offical CD track listings and saw that my CDs were different =/ I've just bought all his real CDs from Yesasia though! Now I'm saving up for the Incomparable and The One CDs so I have all the videos as well.
