First heard her on the wang leehom song, "perfect interaction". she has a fantastic voice, most suitable for rnb in my opnion. She can also be known as J-Lim.
To date she has released 2 albums. (If anyone wants some songs, i will be happy to upload) She also belongs to the same company as Rain, G.O.D, Byul etc

this is her cyworld Lim jeong hee (http://www.cyworld.com/streetvoice)

i knew about her not too long ago and tried listening to some of her songs, but wasn't really affected by it at first. not until i saw her perform as a special guest in Bi's concert that i started to appreciate her singing. she sang Music is My Life and shikeh taeyob. it's a great combo to show off her amazing vocal. she sounded wonderful live! i gave her 1st album another try afterwards and like it more than i did the first time. i'm currently hooked to her new song, sarang kajima ^^

brizkee: she's not new. i believe she debut in 2005.

here's her profile on JYPE --> http://www.jype.com/club/jyp/eng/artist/lim/lim01.html

Her voice is amazing! Although when I first heard or songs, I didn't like them that much but then they really grew on me. I like her first album more than her second one though. The second one seems so...what's the word...packaged? @_@ Her first one seemed more street..or raw @_@ oh gosh I can't find the right words for anything today >_< but anyway, they're both still good albums ^^

yeah, i heard her voice for the first time in leehoms 'perfect interaction', and when i saw the mv, i believe she was using alicia keys' style. the hair and the make-up makes her look un-asian hehe. and her voice is very strong also.

Hahaha... my friends always joked that in English, J-Lim should be called "Alicia Hee". Well looks might be almost the same, but in terms of voice, J-Lim can surely hold her own ground.

actually, Music is My Life is her first album. her newest album is called Thanks

so JYP does have plans to bring J-Lim over to the US. no wonder she was the guest singer instead of Byul. below is an article about it. i highlighted the part about her, but it's best if you read the whole article to understand how wise this man is. i wish them success!

JY Park Reveals Plans for Rain

"What can you do if you simply throw an artiste there by himself? Going forward is a chance for us to develop by strategy". Singer- producer JY Park commented on Rain getting nominated one of Time 100 Most Influential People in the World. "Honestly, this is something we didn't anticipate", "Going forward, we need to develop according to strategy" he reveals future plans unhesitantly.

On the 10th at 9pm, JY Park expressed the following at SBS TV studio in Seoul during the press conference of "Superstar Survival", "All these happened faster than we thought it would", "We need to make up for time lost and are hence facing great pressure". JY Park coninued, "It is a big deal for Rain to be nominated as part of Time 100. Although I've lived in the US for 3 years, the Time I read in Korea just feels different." "You can't just throw an artiste there by himself. going forward, we need to develop a stronger strategy." He emphasized that success in the US is not just about having what it takes. You also need strong foundations and strong infrastructure.

In other words, it is necessary to have a system in order to break into the US market, to design to complement the taste of the US mass market, you need to rack your brains. More than anything else, to use the keywords "Asia" and "Hallyu" to build this system. He also expressed, "After the Time 100 party, it's been a long time since I've sat down and had a drink with Rain. We are very difference in characters. I am the kind to challenge. Rain is the conservative kind who will not make a move unless he is very well-prepared. Because of this, we complement each other's working style very well."

With regards to plans of Rain entering the US market, JY park indicates, "Within this year, we will come up with the logo for the US album. Once the logo is completed, it will not be rain, but Lim Jung hee and other black singers we have been cultivating in the US spearhead the drive into the US market. JY Park also said, "Rain will enter the market as a local artiste there", hinting that there are already much preparation going on in this project.

On the other hand, Rain will start his Asia Concert Tour from Japan and China, then Taiwan, Hong Kong, Phillippines etc 11 Asian countries.

huh? JYP is bringing her to the states? seems like JYP has quite big dreams eh. first rain, now her. but i can already see the pros and cons of doing so. hopefully, they wont insult her by saying shes a copycat of alcicia keys.

ok this is a little off topic, but if you like strong voices, people, can try SeeYa, a new girl group.

I knew about her before her collaboration with Leehom and Rain. Leehom wrote one song in her first album for her. I can't remember which one at the moment. Anyhow, being a huge Leehom fan, I checked out her first album. It was good. I'm not overly impressed with her though. I mean, yes, I like her voice and her style, but so far, she hasn't made me go like, WOW. I hope to hear more good stuff from her.

edit:
It's Track 11 자유 | Jayoo | Freedom.

vunsin I absolutely love Jayu. ^_^

it saddens me though that her second album doesn't offer much spunk as her debut album. She has gone mainstream focusing on ballads and it's saddening.

I do like a few tracks. The last three tracks collaborations are something. I especially love Get You because it's catchy. :)

I happen to come across a song on her website which is just labeled as latale 1126611. it's so nice. <3 fun melody.

Yeah... I was expecting more from her after the first album. I thought it was good, but not outstanding. I was hoping the second album would just blow me away. But it was only so-so. I can't even decide which song I like best. They all sound kinda the same to me.
